Best thing about Pegasus is it's price point and versatility if like me, you essentially only have 1 pair of shoes. Summer, winter, rain or sun, frosty roads, trail, road, long and slow or fast and short- it does it all and lasts so well, you could easily get 600+ miles out of them. They're comfy and responsive. Great shoe!👌🏻
@@JordanThomasmedia hey Jordan! Thanks for reply! I did in my Pegasus 36, 35 and 34...currently on the 37! I've tried other shoes, and wasted my money, I can only really afford one pair and it has to be Pegasus for me 👍
Hearing they've widened the toebox is HUGE for me, as a flat-footer. I have a pair of Peg35s that I absolutely LOVE for day to day wear (primarily for the ride of the sole) but they were initially pretty snug in the upper. A wider, more forgiving upper sounds like heaven a definite match for me.
Funnily enough the Pegasus line is probably the literal PERFECT shoe for everyone. I had the 34/35/36s and I have to say they are comfortable for casual use, perfect for 5-10 Mile runs and serviceable even on a basketball court, the main reason for this was because of the unrivaled lateral stability and traction they had but I had my reservations for the new 37/38 midsoles. Guess I will wait for the 39s for the ultimate jack of all trades master of none shoes
This a great review of a great running shoe. The best in my opinion. I bought my first Nike Pegasus in 1983 and I’ve just bought the Nike air Pegasus 38 in the same colour as the shoe you have on display. This make of running shoe gets better with every year’s upgrade. Great review! 👍
2:00 bruh I'm just getting back into running after a couple years and I had the Pegasus 34 and 35, the 35s still feel new to me and you belt out that back in the day line, pfff man's making me feel old 😭😂
Thanks for this video! I love how you breakdown the details, like the mileage vs cost value. I've been on the fence on buying these but I'm going shopping for my next workhorse shoe and I'm definitely going to check these out!

Lovely review and starting to get into running so this was helpful and informative! Love the LeBron reference at the end too, keep up the good work! 👊🏼
This was a really helpful review and spot on. I know it has been posted for a while but I recently saw it and pulled the trigger on the Peg 38. The react foam with the air bag is fantastic. I just wish the shoes were a better fit for my feet. There's something about the shape of the heel cup that makes it slip which I haven't experienced in any other running shoes. The forefoot is also a little narrow. I've been using a runner's knot which helps but I still don't feel like my heel is completely in the shoe. I love how they run so I'm continuing to use them with the hope they eventually conform more to my feet.
I like the 37 but had trouble with the fit. Heel slippage is real. Did the runner's knot, sometimes it could feel too tight and painful though and I have to stop and relace. I hope 38 solve these issues. Then it will be gold.
Got that JT noti while I was running this AM ! Might get a pair of nikes to run in. I’m in Hoka Arahi 4 and NB Fuel cell echos. The echos pretty rough and I can do sprints effectively in the hokas. Lol
Love your videos! Do you think the 38 is good for long runs? I have shoes for speed days and I have the invincibles, but I feel like I inevitably run faster than intended in those. Long runs for me are 10-20 miles. Thanks!
The only thing I don’t like about my peg 37 is the heel and since there’s no change there I think the 37 will last me til the 39 come out. Great review as always bro
If the fit ain’t right, it makes sense to wait. I would say if you’re able to walk into a store and try them out, it’s worth a quick look. With the overall padding change in the upper there is an improvement. Appreciate you 🙏🏽
Excellent review! I have the 37s and they are comfortable. Do you think the 38's are the same or more comfortable with the extra space in the toe area? And have you used the 38's as just daily walking around shoes and at the gym? Did they maintain their comfortable feeling? Thanks
The 38s are just different. Having a more narrow foot, the 37s were fine for me, so the additional room in the 38 felt like a little too much. I have walked in them and they are comfortable and these are a shoe that you could take to the gym as well.
funny to hear anyone talk about this shoe being in their "rotation". When I was running in college (early 90's) I had the pegasus. There was no rotation...it was my speedwork, long run, intervals, etc. shoe. If you aren't a serious runner, do you really need multiple shoes? I would recommend the Pegasus for pretty much anyone for all their running needs.
@@JordanThomasmedia I’m wanting something for the majority of my miles each week and even to pick up the pace abit with, Ive had the peg 37 and it was great but didn’t know if I’d get similar benefits and maybe more from the infinity react 2?
The react 2 has a lot more cushioning which I find helpful for longer runs 50 mins+, however I think the Peg is a bit better for faster efforts. I could see a case to sub out the peg for the infinity react. I just appreciate the price difference and familiarity of the Peg
Quick question: Have you tried the Vomero 16? And would you recommend them over the Pegasus 38? "They" say that the vomero 16 are a better version of the Pegasus 38.
Looks a lot like the Winflo 7 and the 8 is even better. As a cheaper shoe and a VFM, I'd rather run with the new Winflo. The 7&8 are a lot better than previous generations
The Pegasus are an all around running shoe, while the Speed are more of a specialty case that would allow you train and faster efforts and perhaps race in them.

they can be. Although I would recommend that you order them in wide or check out the react infinity run and/or invincible which are a bit wider in the fit and have a larger base.

Yes, definitely
Are flat feet suitable for this shoe?
How they behave as a everyday shoe? Occasional runs, walks, cycling, gym etc.
I recommend this shoe and the react infinity for those types of activities.
Would you recommend this over the Adidas Boston 9?
I haven’t tried the Boston 9...so definitely the Peg 38 ☺️
Is this true to size? And is it ok to run in the rain with this beautiful shoe? I’m eyeing one on sale, same colorway as that.
I stuck with my usual 11.5 so you should be good go far as fit. There isn't anything that would prevent you from running in the rain with them.
