As someone who owns the Pegasus 41 I can say this man is telling 100% the truth I ran 5k with this shoe ima say it's one of the most comfy shoes I've ever worn
I only had the pegasus 41 for 4 days, haven't run in them yet but my problem is i cant feel the air zoom in the heel. Is it because of the stiffness of the strobel board, lack of break in or just the reactx too soft. Im wondering i had a fake one😂😂😅. Do you have the same experience?
I find my pair to be exceptionally comfortable except for the heel slippage. A runners knot is basically necessary just to reduce the heel slippage to comfortable levels.
Loved the review. Not sure why people are claiming you are being paid for this when the pegasus has been around for over 40years, it will probably be one of the best daily trainer running shoes for a long, long time..
Thank you, lol who knows it could just be the same person with multiple accounts with a bone to pick or something - like I’ve said, they should at least pick a shoe I rated higher to accuse me of being an industry plant
i bought the invincible 3 instead of those. love the invincible with the zoom foam. gonna looking forward the next months and buy them too. love the colorway so much
first pair of nike running shoes coming from new balance. once i tried them on i immediately loved them my heels are definitely slipping a bit but i fixed that with the knot.
I think they’re by far the biggest bang for your buck. I’ve always gotten them bc they give my feet a rest after wearing dress shoes all day. The most actual work I put them through is just a couple miles a day on the treadmill which they’re perfect for. The main thing for me is Nikes just fit my feet better than other brands. Adidas regardless of how soft they are wear blisters on one part of my feet depending on the shoe. I’ve tried multiple pairs of adidas. They just don’t fit my feet.
lol - no idea what’s in the water today but there’s some unhinged conspiracy theories going on in some people’s heads - I could see it if I was fawning all over the shoe but the review is fairly critical IMO
I bought that color and returned it cuz I was too scared to wear that colorway. Now it’s discontinued and it makes me sad to see you remove one from circulation lol
What's the difference between the gore tex version of these shoes, compared to the trail 5 gore tex. Which would be the better option for rain, winter and comfort
Very informative video. Are these shoes only suitable for running (jogging)? Or are they also suitable for longer shifts in the catering industry to relieve the strain on the back or are other models recommended? I'm looking for the perfect shoes for the 10,000+ steps I take 5 times a week in my restaurant. Best regards :)
Hey Dr. :) I wanna tp start running 5K once a week outdoors, in addition to the shorter runs I do in the gym. Is that a good shoes to start? Please give me your advice.
For running the motivas aren’t indicated - for walking it depends if you want a rocker but I’d rather have these for walking too- just a more well rounded shoe
Does your custom orthotic guide and checklist include recommendations for running shoes? I recently got some custom orthotics and none of my running shoes work with them, since they are very tall in the heel and wide :(. I don't can't stand wearing them, my heel is just slipping out of my shoes The pegasus 40 did work, but nothing else, out of my 10running+ shoes
I dont plan on running on these but was just curious between Pegasus 41 or the NB rebel V4. I only plan on using these to walk around and as my daily shoes going out of the house. Which one is better forthat? seems like theyre both the same scoring on ur URS system
@@johndwen61 i got the pegasus. its pretty good not as soft as everybody else says but its pretty good for walking around. walk the dogs longer and such
I got both of them, I use my Pega41 for daily runs up to 10 k, and IR3 for weekend long runs, slow tempo up to 30 k . The IR3 is like walking on Air, but very heavy not for speed. The Pega41 is lighter , a typical daily trainer
@@DonGivani thanks for the tip, but I heard vomero 17 is better than peg41 and some runner advised not to buy peg41 and go for Vomero17. Any thoughts on it ?
@@coolmanu55 I still run in my Vomero 16. I know the Vomero17 is made of ZoomX ,which is plushier than Peg41 reactX. Feels more like a premium Pegasus.
I’ve never put a flux shoe on but I did look at the model you talked about- pretty different design philosophies - I like the tread on the flux though!
I ran lots of marathon in previous editions of the Pegasus. Now I wouldn't, I would go for a Zoom Fly . But you can definitely run a marathon with it, but check also the Vomero 17, that's more like a premium Pegasus 41
Compared to the Pegasus 40, which would be available now for a lower price now that the 41 is out, is it worth it to pay that little bit more for the 41 over the 40?
Idk why Nike so reluctant to put nylon plate in their running shoes except for high end running shoes. Chinese company always give bang for bucks in the running shoes department😊
Grab a pair at Nike: geni.us/nikesneakers
What are those rings you have on?

The Pegasus is the Honda Accord, does nothing great but it's just a really good shoe for most people.
I haven't bought running shoes in like 10 yrs. Looks like the YT algo did a good job recommending your review. Thank u!
This is amazing! You should do the Adizero SL2 next since that seems to be the relevant comparison.

I’m enjoying my Pegasus 41, just ordered a new color and also the Pegasus Trail 5’s with Gore-Tex.
This is hands down one of the most comfortable iterations of the pegasus ever produced. The reactx foam is straight from a sci-fi movie.

Can you do lining badfive 3??
The haters in the comments are proof that you've made it Zach! Great video as always, even if I'm not necessarily interested in the actual shoe.

Getting an ID pair because of this video. Thanks alot doc!
What is good badfive 3 or 4s
4s
I'm very much looking forward to to the 41 premium which appears to have a full airmax-ish/zoom unit underneath
I like these, but prefer the look of Nike's retro runners. Special request teardown of the P-6000 and Pegasus 2005 (variations of the Pegasus).
can you try the adidas pureboost jet or pegasus 38
Curious what the difference is between the Pegasus 41 and the Pegasus 41 Premium?
interested in this question too

Review on the Asics Gel Nimbus 26?
Is the Peg 41 similar to the Vomero 5, comfort-wise? Given that both have pretty similar midsole setups? Appreciate the 🔥 uploads Doc!
I personally think the Pegasus 41 is better
Do you have a shoe guide or guide about what kind of shoes are good for orthotics?
Any review for the easy-on version?

These or the rebel V4?
If anyone has a good comparison video of the Novablast 4's vs the Pegasus 41's, that would be awesome!
Stick with the nova if you want to stay injury free these are not as comfortable as reviewers are claiming returned mine after first run.
If possible could you review a pair of Xtep JLin 3 Basketball Shoes
I got the mens to get a bit more width/ volume and that worked perfectly for my wide women feet !
Good call
you should do the vomero 5s and review compare them to normal basketball shoes

Yep
What i don't like about pegasus 41 is that it's 10mm heel to toe drop.
do cloudmonster hyper next

It's different. Nike makes the best spikes and distance super shoes. Neither of which an everyday runner ever needs.

The Donkeysus -41 is a scam for runners. Better options are out in the market from other companies.
