When the ship comes in...at the savoy hotel in 1965, Blues stay away from me ..etc ..etc Right here Blowing in Wind . . Jane L Piepes
Great work getting hold of this!.. Thank you, and thank you for sharing this here. I will watch this later on tonight with a glass of wine or two I think. nm.
As a collector of all available Dylan stuff I had bought the RTR DVDs some years ago. Now this film has an excellent quality, it surpasses all that was published before. Thanks a lot, dear Wollhall. 🤩👍🙏
I remember shooting excerpts of this concert broadcast off of my b/w TV in Rome with a Super8 film camera, simultaneously recording the audio with an external microphone of a Philips cassette deck, a hundred media recording generations ago. I was only 13 then but this performance continued to prevail in my mind throughout my life as a Bob Dylan fan and to this day it has remained unsurpassed - what a priceless treat to have it all in such amazing quality now - thank-you!! 🟥⬜🟩
Astonishing, fabulous, like a time-machine, feel as if i'm there, the atmosphere!..Bob, the band, the public..the quality..so enjoy this, awesome 🤩👏!! Thank you very much!!!
Love Woolhalls channel for all the Dylan vids, he puts up, some of the best quality concert n clips I've seen on RUclips. Like Dylan, long may you 'keep on keepin on. Thank You Woolhall 🎶🎵 ✌️
No breaks in the action, rolling right through the setlist and the thunder. The Oh Sister and Shelter from the Storm is unbelievable, slide guitar is awesome, as if it was his day to day specialty. The lyrics are incredible and the diction very fine.
Holy wow! This is eight miles above any other footage I’ve ever seen of this legendary concert! Thanks, Woolhall, for another in a long line of fantastic uploading!🙏
also it was sponsored by Pioneer car stereos, every commercial was about their car stereos, Pioneer super tuner was the best thing on the market back then........even had Dolby switch ha ha ha
I attended this concert. We bought a bunch of Denver Post newspapers to sit on because it was so wet. The quality of this video is amazing. Great flashback. Thank you for posting.
Thanks! This version of the title song has long been my all time favorite. Great to see such a high quality copy. Surely one of the very best showcases of His Bobness at his best.
Thanks for posting. I read "off the master", which I thought was enough info to properly set my expectations. I then saw the footage, and it surpassed anything I had anticipated! Well done!
Rob Stoner, the bass player, he is the guy that kept it all together, he arranged a lot, played well, seemed to have the vibe to follow Bob's desultoriness...also, hahah. check Bob Neuworth playing that acoustic with capo as if it were an electric....hahaha, Arthur Rimbaud gets a thanks at the end...I enjoyed Shelter inspite of Bob stepping on everyone with that slide, and Idiot , just because it is such a kick arse tune

I just absolutely love this! I've been listening to the CDs from RTR the last few days. This feels much more like being there. t does take me back to a really good place. As always, many thanks. Take care and be well. I'll be listening to this at least a few more times!
No one knew the arrangement of the songs - not even Bob. The bass player was working on instinct, joan baez was trailing dylans vocal by a second and the whole band was rehearsing live in front of thousands of Dylan fans. I kinda don't mind that!!!
Great! A little tip: had you upscaled the video to 1080p (nothing fancy, no AI please, just a plain "dumb" upscale), and uploaded it like that to RUclips, it would've looked even better. RUclips has a tendency to soften 480p material, which is much less apparent on 1080p, no matter the source.
Great video. I believe the traditional "Railroad Boy" was a part of Baez's songbook in the 60s; to hear a radically different (and phenomenal) take on it check out "Go Dig My Grave" by Lankum.
@@Verkleurmannetjie_SmartieBox You're welcome. 🙌 I recognize your name but I'm not sure from where or when. You are right about this upload though I'm watching for the third time! 😁 All the best! 👍

Is that Dickey Betts playing acoustic guitar in the background? If I'm wrong that's cool and I'm shamed for not knowing, but if it is, that's really cool.
Joan doesn't know the lyrics to it's a hard rain. But she keeps up and harmonizes like a pro. She gets the last 3 words of a 6 word phrase. And you know she wishes the song would end.
Some of the performers on the tour were Joan Baez, Roger McGuinn, Joni Mitchell, Ronee Blakely and Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Bob Neuwirth, violinist Scarlet Rivera, bassist Rob Stoner, and drummer Howie Wyeth, plus Mick Ronson on guitar.
Just curious, what does 'very low generation' mean? Does it refer to how many times the material's been copied from the original 'master' ? Like a copy of a copy of a copy, etc. ?
Dios bendiga a todos los que participaron en esta maravillosa obra de arte por los siglos de los siglos.
Gracias eternas a todos !!!
