I have heard many versions of the song E1M8, and I really liked this song. There is no doubt that Sign of Evil is one of the songs that adapts to any rhythm and genre.

More atmosphere on an already amazingly atmospheric piece of music. For me, this dials in directly to how I used to feel playing the original as a kid
Damn.. that continuous violins in the background make me feel like im floating in the sea.. im falling asleep under 8 minutes when im closing my eyes and listening to this wonderful song.
Sign of evil imo really captures that feeling of despair as you witness hell itself and all its horror. This takes it even further giving the perfect ambience and bringing life to it. I just wish a visionary would create the perfect imagery video to go with this. I imagine waking up in hell you cant see much but flames and a slight glow around them. Darkness covers everything. Only a slight glimpse youll see of what lies in the darkness and its utter misery, pain, torment of the damned.
...Hopelessness... this is it... this is the end...
To Some That Is Heaven.
I've listened to countless SOE remixes, covers and remasters but this, this here, this absolute marvel of a masterpiece captures not just the essence of the other side of DOOM, but its length and ever-so-growing buildup without ever exploding had me sitting here with silent delight. Despite being 19 whole minutes long, it never felt like it was dragging on but rather, sending me into a landscape for me to enjoy in my imagination, something SOE always done to me, to imagine the deepest parts of DOOM's Universe.
This was well done, I'm even going to buy this track out of respect of the work you done here and add this into the largest SOE playlist. Thank you very much, this is the greatest ambient mix of SOE I have ever heard so far!

As I've said to other people who have commented on this video, this is the piece I'm most proud of on my channel and this is the cover that required the most work for me. I love Doom's music and especially Sign Of Evil! I still remember when I first heard this music in the original Doom. I wandered around the level for dozens of minutes just to listen to this music.
Man this is good. Sign of Evil has such a haunting ambience to it as is, so when you actually focus on it and create a truly slow, atmospheric ambient track, it's extremely haunting. Beautiful, but haunting.
