Wild Video Shows Florida Teens Crashing Stolen Car

- Helicopter footage from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office in Florida shows the moments leading up to a deadly crash involving three teens driving a stolen Maserati on Oct. 2. Deputies tried to stop the car, but it accelerated to over 100 miles per hour. They did not pursue the vehicle. Later, the driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to hit a curb and flip over, police said. According to reports, 15-year-old Mario Bonilla died at the scene. 15-year-old Keondrick Lang and 16-year-old Malachi Daniels were taken to a local hospital with critical injuries, authorities said.

Imagine stealing a car and dying when you could have done literally anything else with your life
There was 3 teenagers, the driver and 1 of the passenger survived. The other passenger is dead…all that energy could’ve gone to something else smh
I really don't think these kids thought of dying when stealing a car, they think of the joy ride and other crap they can do with it. They really don't think things through. That is why they are Teenagers 🤦♂

It's amazing how easy it is to lose control over sports cars at such speeds.
Some man I know in mid life crisis bought a Shelby mustang he crashed his first time out on road hit a guardrail totaled the brand new car.

Naw, they were bad drivers. They were driving straight. I've got up to 130mph before and it gets a little scary then. 100mph should be fine.

It's really not that different compared to 20 or 30 years ago. The only difference is that we constantly get to see it because of modern technology and social media.

I think there needs to be new laws to get tougher on teen crime. I think if you’re over the age of 13 and are committing a felony, then you should be charged as an adult. Do adult crime, do adult time.

Driver was the least injured , rear passenger is in extreme critical condition , front passenger is who died . you can tell they caught a little air through the intersection , came down hard and on the rebound it unloaded the rear tires , which caused a skid , and he over corrected which caused the spin .

From local reporting here in Tampa, it was 3:30 am, the chopper was responding to a separate auto theft in the area, AND the owner of the Maserati left the keys in it with the door unlocked, a lot going on here.

All I got to say is Oh Well. Owner of the vehicle will get another with the insurance money...but I bet Mario regrets his actions, and the other boys are going to be charged with homicide since they were in the act of a felony when their friend died, if they survive.
This is in my town man. My wife is a nurse for hospice and heard the coroner say "I have 3 teens to autopsy first before I can accept your patients". Small world.

The cops didn’t even have to do anything, they just turned their lights on and let those idiots crash on their own, on a straight road with no other cars no less. I saw the press conference for this and apparently they had been caught doing the same thing like a month prior.
And they will do it again in a month. At least the one who can move, will.

a small bump in the road can make such a huge different with high speeds compared to low speeds. I ones drove 150mph in my S8 on a road i thought i really knew... but i knew it at the speed limit of 60mph. Never really noticed that bump until i drove 150mph. Car went airborne, but luckily landed straight

This may sound cold, but the parents of the teen who died are lucky. They are now spared a lifetime of disappointment, court visits, visitation in prison, lawyers, lawsuits and mental pain and anguish. They have a time of momentary pain, but it will fade with time. Honestly the best outcome. For the parents of the teens who survived, good luck. your career criminals just took a step further into the dark side.

Also when you make a claim on a stolen and destroyed vehicle your insurance skyrocket... They tried to steer. Car has traction control and they were going pretty high speed and unlikely to have rear wheel spin at that speed in a straight line. Someone turned the car for some reason with the predictable result.
@@ModMINI but even then, turning at that speed would understeer, not over steer. It would've just pushed the front end, which I guess is possible and they just Over corrected from that but it really didn't look like it to me

This is absolutely heart breaking. Not only did a parent lose their Maserati, but the idea of pukes like this only needing to drive dangerously enough that the police won't even pursue them is terrifying. I keep saying, with all the advances in modern medicine, keeping people alive that wouldn't have survived, who go on to reproduce, this is now the only natural selection we have left.

So by going high speeds the risk of crashing is greater. Try running over a rock at 10mph then at 120 and see what happens. 10mph you will barley feel, 120 your prob crashing
