I can’t quite hit that hard anymore but I’m just happy I’m not paralyzed on my left side. Yeah I’m with ya I’m gonna be that guy 80 years old and still craukin as loud as hell.

I've played guitar in many bands, with various levels of singer talent (none up to this level of course), and I know how thrilling it is to have an amazing frontman bring your songs to life. In his prime, Sebastian Bach was a monster, an almost impossible combination of voice, looks and stage presence. It must have been otherworldly for Bolan and Snake to see what he did with their songs in the studio and on stage. I remember these guys suddenly appearing on the scene when Bon Jovi "discovered" and gave them exposure. For a few short years, Skid Row was on top of the world, and had few equals on the rock/metal scene...and this is why.

There aren't very many musicians that can SIT and sing - let alone SPRINT from one end of the stage to the other and actually vocalize like Sebastian. My older brother was born in '81 so I heard a lot of great rock and metal from the 80's through him. Skid Row always stuck out the most to me. Many of us nowadays weren't around during this performance (I was 4 or 5 months old lmao) so getting to see what it was like through these uploads is pretty damn cool.
Remember loving music, knowing you were part of a full scale movement and time? It's never fair for us older folks to define the time, that's for the youth. But I do look around and wonder if this current generation has that. Lots of big artists, but a full scale genre? Not sure. I hope they do, cause watching this brings back so many memories, and I just smile.
