Sweet Ride is a widebody #KadeyKrogen44AE. The AE designation is for Advanced Ergonomics. The port and starboard boarding doors are at cockpit sole level, the engine room has two accesses including the lifting staircase. She has just completed major upgrades to hoisting system, cooling system, fresh water system, all sea strainers, navigation electronics, canvas, sound down, carpet and many others (upon request). She is equipped with a suite of navigation, communication and entertainment electronics that one would expect to find on much larger yachts. Sweet Ride is an accomplished blue water cruiser that is at home on the open sea as well as cruising the coastal waters. Her water maker, extensive spares, larger refrigerator and pantry space add to the ability to be self-sufficient in remote areas.
Sweet Ride has an excellent layout for an active owner operator couple. Her size is large enough for full time live aboard, and hosting occasional guests, but small enough for economical ownership and maintenance.
Her interior layout features two staterooms and single head. The engine room has two means of access for easier service and inspections. The raised pilothouse with flybridge above, both with Stidd helm chairs, provide two options for commanding her underway. The entry level has a comfortable saloon featuring two Ekornes Stressless chairs, L-shaped settee, and an ideal offshore gourmet galley. Ultra-leather upholstery, neutral colored curtains, and Corian counters.

Man, that is one tight engine room. Again, the NH wins. But dang... love this fly bridge.
Kirk: In this size trawler the engine rooms are a bit smaller, but, for most people still relatively easy to get around
Beautiful and we've been out on the 50. Amazing. But we are in the market for the Nordhaven 41' Just a better ocean going vessel. But I like ht layout and flybridge of the KK.

Franklin: It must be his New Hampshire accent, we do work on spelling, but people pronounce the same words differently, as long as you get the point!
You lost me at "one head"
Camden: Understood, two heads are better than one. A few KK44's have a second head, but that is rare. What Krogen and other trawler builders have learned is that two people spend 90+% of their time aboard and one head will work for many people and the space that would have been allocated for a head is used for other purposes. Sweet Ride is an ideal couples cruiser, thanks for watching.
The point of this boat isnt to fit as many people and party. It was built for a cruising couple or small family to be comfortable.
