48' Kadey Krogen Trawler Yacht| Charleston To Georgertown|Trainning mission time!

This 48 foot Kadey Crogan troller yacht is equipped with a single John Deere diesel and a bow thruster. These are my clients that I have been teaching for several months now how to operate the boat professionally. Today's mission was to get the boat off the dock and successfully bring it up to Georgetown South Carolina through the intercoastal waterway. Along the way, we would continue our training with understanding navigation hazards, buoys, and range markers. Furthermore, we would learn about reading the water in the currents to determine where deep water is, and where safe water is. Also, using our navigational charts to plot and use auto pilot to get us from one location to another safely. This was an extremely enjoyable, ride up with two wonderful owners that have a passion for learning the right way on how to yacht. I love that this is such a small trawler community that you know who’s boat I was on lol. And yes, they did a great job. Wonderful people and learn very quickly.
