Many years ago before tools attached uprights, my mum used to put a rubber glove on and use that hand to clean the dog hair off the sofas, round the edges of rooms and the stairs. I still use that method now. I love the fact shark have put rubber fins on the brushroll. Rubber brooms, gloves etc are the best for getting all pet hair and to clean edges of light colour carpets
The dust bin is removable. In fact, that's how you get to the filters also. There is an eject button for it on the other side of the assembly. Just had mine apart for a cleaning.
1000 thumbs up! You measured suction in inches of water column, and air flow. Doesn't get any better than that. Best vac review I've seen to date. Thank you!
My husband just got me one for Xmas, and I love it! We have two large dogs, a parrot and a kid = messy floors. Very light weight, no more bending over with a wand to get the cracks and crevices, because I’m short it actually scoots under the couches without the flex as well. Picks up all the bird seed and debris the bird chucks on the floor too, my old floor model used to kick back a lot of that stuff, which meant more cleaning!
We absolutely love ours! Wifey likes it's light weight, and I like it because it's cordless. We also have a corded Shark Rocket Professional. The cordless model works comparatively well. No complaints from us!
I was really excited when I got this vacuum. So lightweight and easy to move, even if it's not the strongest on carpet. Only had it for 9-10 months though before it completely died on me. Shark Support told me I would need to replace the entire bottom part of the vacuum where the brushroll is, and pay $90 + shipping for the part. It's an OK vacuum, but Shark doesn't take care of their customers, so I'll never buy a Shark again.
Good for what I wanted. Only downside is no storage option. Stand it up and it will fall backwards, especially so on hardwood floors. Overall pretty good as a second quick vac, which is why I got it. The only really good cordless stick vac for a primary would be the LG.
Thanks for this. I need to get a cordless vacuum to replace my older Dyson upright, as I'm tired of lugging it around - it's very heavy for an upright but cost a small fortune at over $700 about 10 years ago, so have been reluctant to invest in a new vacuum of any kind. We have a mix of hardwood and carpet so hoping this will do the trick and deep clean enough. I find my Dyson, for the expensive price tag, really does not deep clean carpet very well at all - at least low pile carpet.
Thank you so much for this video. I found out what I wanted in the length of your video. Saved me a lot of money too:) Now hopefully I can put this thing together.
The ultimate test for vacuums is ash, pet hair, and sawdust. ie pets and a wood stove. Not so much hair tangling, but it balls up and gets stuck right behind the beater bar and clogs it.
Wow this review was EXACTLY what I needed. I'm a custodian at a school and wanted a cordless vac that can handle the insane amount of hair that I have to deal with!
Am I allowed to mention otherRUclips reviewers here ‘cuz I know of one that did noise levels? He reviewed noise levels and cleaning as well. Had a Shark Rocket but not sure if it was the same exact vacuum. He did have an adorable pooch. Gotta see the expression on his dog’s face when he is emptying the dust bin into the trash.
It shows in the instructions plus read all the yellow stickers on the vacuum how to store it...very easy, just remove the top part and put it on the hook on the vacuum located around the middle of the long stick in the back of it
We have 6 cats. I vacuum about twice a week. More if people are coming over. Anyways you are right about the roller. No hair wraps around it. How ever noticed it was not sounding as strong as it should be. So I unlocked the three screws. Low and behold found a ton of dirt and hair clogged up in front part where teeth are. Roller still working !!! So I cleaned out this part. Now sounds better. Changing filter once a month also. Just curious as to why the clog in this area? Is this something I'm going to have to do every time I use it?
Thank you for your review channel. I bought a Bissell pro heat stream cleaner based on your previous reviews. I am looking for a cordless vacuum now. Can you please compare this vacuum to the Shark P50, F80, and Dyson v10 absolute?
I just purchased this vaccum and was comparing those models as well. I ruled out the ion flex due to it not being a sealed system. This one (pet pro) performed slightly better (92%) on the carpet vs the P50 (87%). I have half carpet and half tile and only wanted 1 floor head vs 2 so that ruled out the Dyson for me. The P50 has more attachments, stands up on its own, and a hose feature that this vac doesn't have. But it performs slightly worse on carpet and does not have the zero m brush. The Dyson performs better on carpet but it is way more expensive and wasn't in my budget. That was my comparison takeaway and why I purchased the rocket pet pro. 😁
I want something like this for in between deep cleaning instead of having to get out my corded shark upright vacuum. I love cordless vacuums & have one for the hard flooring with soft roller brush even though it's a cheap one. Love my zero M brush on my upright vacuum for carpets.. it's fantastic! BTW when I do get one of these my husband will say you've been watching that vacuum guy on RUclips again haven't you? 😂 Little does he know once we get rid of the carpet in our living room & replace with hard flooring I'll be getting a robot vacuum to! Shhh🤫 don't tell him it's a secret! 🤣🤣🤣
Yea. There’s a reviewer that did a decent job showing us. Can’t quite remember his exact user name but do believe the word “cracked” was in it and that the reviewer had an adorable dog.
I have this vacuum, and the only complaint I have about the design is the strip of bristles on the bottom of the head make the "pulling" action on my hard floors almost pointless, because the bristles will sweep the dust and debris back, forcing me to lift the head to pick it up....small complaint.
I picked one up yesterday. I was considering going with a Dyson 10 motorhead or even the Dyson 11... in end, i have a small condo, and for the price i thought it was a good value..... still am slightly considering taking it back but this is a pretty good vacuum
Clearly either a) hasn’t lived with a woman when she is stressed out or has hormonal issues. Or b) hasn’t lived with a woman who has fine hair or damaged hair lol. My hair from Bleaching falls out in handfuls
You can remove the bin other wise u can’t access the hepa filter and the pre motors I have this same machine but with the classic anti hair wrap + duo clean and flexoligy and u can remove the bin on that machine so u can do that on this machine bc it’s the same type just without the soft roller
Any suggestions for storing extra attachments? As far as I can tell, there is no way to attach the extra attachments that come with it. I was disappointed by this. Other than that, it's been a pretty good little vac.
Is there anyway you could do a video on how to clean the inside of the brush head on this vacuum? My brush is clean, but that area behind the brush, like where the window is, is very dirty, and I can't figure out how to open it to clean it
Never really though anti-tangle was that big a deal until I started using the Shark P50 and Neato D7, both of which need constant brushroll cleaning. Bother. Dyson V8 and Roborock robot don't have that issue.
Hello, I have a dog that sheds very bad. I sweep every day. Mostly hardwood downstairs, but carpets upstairs. What vacuum docyoi recommended? I previously had a shark rocket. I loved it. It got all the little dusk off my almost black hardwood floors. I ordered the rotator 752(?) And it didnt pick up the dust.
I would like the zero m power head and removable battery. I thought I had one according to the box but what was in the box had a powerhead with bristles and vanes, battery not removable.
I'm kind of torn between the F80, P50 and Rocket Pro. The review said it's a big upgrade for the Shark cordless line up... But the review for the P50 seemed better. I like the fact that the P50 and the Rocket (Pet) Pro are both HEPA. Which of the three do you think is best?
For something marketed toward pets I think these companies need to do more to show off the noise they make. A lot of these handhelds absolutely scream and its horrible for both pets and owners. Don't suppose you could include a clip with sound in future reviews? :)
im trying to choose between this OR a Shark APEX DuoClean Stick Vacuum ZS362C! Wish you had a review for the latter! I always look at your reviews before getting a vacuum and highly recommend all my friends to see your reviews before they bought theirs too!
What would you recommend for someone who has a lot of stairs? I’ve been looking at cordless vacuums because usually the cords aren’t long enough. Thanks
The product does a decent job, but when the hose in the head splits and cracks - and it will - I learned there is no repair part (a flexible hose about 8" x 1.25"). The "repair" consists of the purchase of a new head ($130). Makes no sense to me that such a simple part is not available.
I have a dog , but all tile and hardwood floors. I have an old Shark rotator Upright but I think I killed it… should I go stick or upright (for all tile or hardwood, and short hair dog… but long hair wife)
Hi, thanks so much for videos..I love them and you’re just so knowledgeable! I need a cordless vacuum for my apt like BAD and can’t afford a dyson. I’ve been doing so much research and have it narrowed down to this Shark Rocket or the new Bissell IconPet. Have you tried that one yet or done a comparison? And if not..please and thank you. Sweeping sucks lol
Can u compare the small wheels on this vaccum to the N803? I watched your APEX vs N803 and that was a big issue for the APEX and why you didn't recommend that model. Does this model have the type of small wheels that have been causing issues for some people? Thanks!
As you look at all these cordless handheld/stick vacs, I’m ever more curious about the Oreck Pod, which has to be the weirdest entrant into this segment, as it’s a direct air stick vac with a baglike filter
this one the 752 true pet? the pet motorized brush i think is a big deal for me. my pomeranians are more hair than dog. but duo clean looks good to. is duo clean that much better? i could buy the motorized head for 50 bucks i think. thoughts. thanks
I wanted to see how it emptied isn’t the way it empties different? Why oh why would they not include a sealed system for ALL of them? I wanted the flex but didn’t realize it wasn’t a sealed system. Ugh!! I really wish they would just do different heads so we can configure a vacuum the way we want to.
Yes! Duo Clean with Zero-M. I will never EVER go back. No Zero-M..... no buy! Lol My hair is long and thick and I shed like a dog. I haven't had to pull hair out of the brush in two years. (Long-haired Shepard, me and my hair, 2 cats and 2 other people in home). That's mind blowing to me.
Glad you added that. I saw another video where the person demonstrating it showed us where to push the button to separate. However, with all these models that Shark puts out, I might have had it confused with a different one.

Finally a proper vacuum demo on cheerios. This should be a standard test for those with small children will appreciate the ability to suck up cheerios

After watching 10 videos and researching for a few hours... I've made up my mind! shark rocket pet pro cordless vacuum is the winner 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
have you purchased it? how do you like it?

@@VacuumWars Thanks for filming I enjoyed your video. Could you test out the Bissle ICONPet cordless vacuum cleaner? Thank you.
Vacuum Wars, you no longer made videos by Tuesday earlier.
You need to add NOISE levels to your testing
Meh screw noise levels, vacuums will always be noisy. It's suction that counts.
@@ShadowsOfTheParanormal Well to be honest high pitch noise annoys the shit out of me. like the Dyson..
