I bought a Shark Rocket pro and love the articulated shaft. It allows cleaning under furniture such as sofas and chairs without having to bend much. At 77, I believe this feature is a God send.
*A great vacuum💯 for the price. The suction is awesome **MyBest.Tools** excellent for pet hair. The beater attachment works great on the stairs. Not too heavy and easily maneuvered.🤨*
excellent review. Well done . I watched the whole video which speaks volumes for the presentation. Will be buying this ShaRK ROCKET BECAUSE YOU'VE CONVINCED ME. Thanks.
Good video. I like how you pointed out the low profile. One test I would like to see you add is clearance under kitchen cabinets toe kicks. Seems pointless but my current corded vacuum (DC24) will not fit all the way under the toe kick. So I have to sweep it out in order to vacuum it up. Edge cleaning would also be a good test. FYI my floors are either vinyl or wood.
For anyone who sees his wondering about edge cleaning, it didn't perform well, but either did the Dyson stick either. That's where you get the edge tool out sometimes. I find I sweep my kitchen most times anyways, because it's so much quicker and easier on my arms and back.
I bought the shark iz140 and the brush roll stopped working on only the carpet setting 2 weeks after i purchased it. Sharks customer service was awful and wanted to charge me $90 for a replacement head. Was so disappointed.
If you should get this notification years later, is there any chance it's still working? I'm thinking about getting one, but in his video on what he didn't like about the model, those fins were wearing away at the outer edges. He didn't say how long he'd had it, but that shouldn't be happening. I wanted to avoid the brush roller type, because I'm so sick of pulling hair off it, a few times w/ every vacuum on my Tineco Hero.
Awesome video. Does this vaccum work on high pile/shag carpet? Thank you also, how do you compare this to the Apex Uplight? Thanks. Looking to buy one of them today. I rather a cordless for use with my car but highpile carpet is most important. Thank you
This seems to do pretty well on carpet, better than most sticks. You really need an upright for the power to do high or deep pile carpet. I have an old Dirt Devil upright w/ bags, and that sucker makes my upstairs carpet look almost new. Mind you, I can barely push the thing, it's so strong. My current cordless is a pretty gutless Tineco Hero, and I quickly stopped trying to use it for upstairs rugs. It is really poor on my area rugs now too.
I have a brand new Shark Rocket - I cant get the cord out of the Shark itself - I had to carry plug etc around with me -:what am I doing wrong to remove it?
That review is of the Shark Pet Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum, as opposed to the Shark Rocket Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum. The Shark Rocket Pro model has the multi-flex feature. Which is great feature for vacuuming under furniture and for parking you Shark Rocket Pro vacuum.
The product does a decent job, but when the hose in the head splits and cracks - and it will - I learned there is no repair part (a flexible hose about 8" x 1.25"). The "repair" consists of the purchase of a new head ($130). Makes no sense to me that such a simple part is not available.
@@giovanna722 Oddly, it was not used every day; maybe 2 times per week. I wondered why the suction was bad and when I thoroughly examined it I found the problem, the small hose between the head and shaft was cracked.. But like I said, that small broken part (flexible hose) was unavailable at Shark or anywhere else I enquired. Having to buy a new head as a solution did not sit well with me.
The Shark Rocket Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum features the multi-flex feature which is a great feature for vacuuming under furniture and for parking your vacuum, without the need for a wall mount. So you would just park your vacuum when hot in use. However, the review in this particular video is not the Shark Rocket Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum as he erroneously claims. Instead, it's the Shark Rocket Pet Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum which does not have the multi-flex feature. Hence, you have to lean the vacuum against something or lay it down altogether when not in use. As it doesn't have a wall mount. The Shark Rocket Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum is about 20 to 30 dollars more relative to the Shark Rocket Pet Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum.
Great Reviews of the Shark Vacuums. Thank for putting on professional video and review. Do you know of a good vacuum duster from Shark? Does shark make a variable speed (suction) lightweight vacuum? I am looking for a vacuum with a wand and flexible hose, and most importantly, a soft brush medium round that picks up fine dust. Purely for dust cleaning on shelves, blinds, shutters, and spots around tables, top of baseboard trims, and cabinets door trims. So many vacuums are too powerful for just "dusting." If I could get a quiet lightweight vacuum with a traditional duster as an attachment, that would be gold.
*Overall 5 stars as it's exactly what we wanted,🧼 **allabout.wiki/Shark-Ultra** in terms of cleaning power. Suction is as good as all the reviews state. When we first got it, I first vacuumed with the existing vacuum and then with this, the additional fine dirt that was in the Shark Rocket was gross and convinced me we needed this. We have medium length carpet and a terrier - no issues, I do imagine plush carpets would not work well with this. Also a little too powerful for most bathroom rugs. Great for area **rugs. One** con is the hose, it's great for reaching far away places (ceiling), but is frustrating and hard to use if you're within arm's distance (think couch and floorboards). This is due to the design of the hose having this long metal rod for extension. Also, I haven't figured out how to get the hose back together quickly as it's supposed to nest into the base of the vacuum. This piece might just be user error though.Canister is just like all others, still have to take out the middle insert to get all the dirt out. I often make a mess around the trash as I'm trying to empty it, but the suction picks that right back up.*

Good suggestion. Also, you can see an edge cleaning test in the video ruclips.net/video/pDDeTUgnJvQ/видео.html

So does it actually lose suction power or do people not understand they need to clean the filters
Love it I just bought my Rocket Pro at Sam’s Club and I’m super loving mine 🙌🏼

Fantastic review 🙌🏽
How do you get the hair out of the small wheels?
What is the difference between the IZ140C and the IZ142 Shark Rocket?
It will stand on its own if you put the head ( vaccuum) on the storage hook .
Thank you for this incredible review
I was hoping you were going to show how to charge it.

Hello is it possible to fit a hepa filter from the pet pro into a rocket pro
How is shark rocket pro doing after 1 year?
Relaxing voice like Bob Ross👍😄
I have a brand new Shark Rocket - I cant get the cord out of the Shark itself - I had to carry plug etc around with me -:what am I doing wrong to remove it?
We bought this vacuum thanks to this excellent video, thanks for all your awesome insight and bonus for ASMR quality of your voice ! Haha
Is it still working good?
@@roseorkeda5012 yes it is awesome! You have to empty the chute under the brushes often (once a week for much we use it), but that's no biggie.
How can I remove the dust cup??? Not to empty, but to clean the cup itself
Do you know when Shark plans to release a cordless stick vacuum that has both duoclean AND zero-m? Seems like a big gap in their line up!
No idea. But that's an interesting point.
Can you please tell me which one is better jashen v18 cordless stick vacuum cleaner or shark rocket pro?
How do you feel clean it?

I just got the rocket pro and it’s exactly like this one , no multi flex feature , it’s not the pet 🤷♂️
@@davesuppa9434 Well, you got screwed because mind has the multi flex feature, which I love and use all the time.
@@expert9987 mine does too
How was your pick-up percent values calculated? Length data was given. What about the other values?
*_Crickets._*
Why are they steadily moving away from duo clean? It's awesome for hard floors. It seems like Shark is getting lazy. I don't like their new stuff.
What is battery life like?
Have you a plan to review the Shark Vertex Lightweight Cordless? Id love to see that and this model compared!

i want to buy one also!!
Hey, how has the shark cordless held up after 8 months of use?
Hi Ananth. I haven't used it enough to make a determination.
does it mount on the wall?
The Shark Rocket Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum features the multi-flex feature which is a great feature for vacuuming under furniture and for parking your vacuum, without the need for a wall mount. So you would just park your vacuum when hot in use.

Vacuum advisor can u review the shark navigator swivel pro complete upright vacuum. It is a purple color vacuum. Can you review it for me pls?!?!?
How about loudness?
It's loud but not as loud as a corded vacuum.
I have this one, it's heavy and won't pick up pet hair.
Every the ad says it is!
Another great one, Nigel. When you getting a V11 Outsize to review?
Thanks Todd. Yeah - I've been trying to get my hands on a V11 Outsize. Hopefully I'll get one soon.

Has anyone ever told you that you sound like JangBricks? Lol
A piece of junk. Wouldn’t even work on my carpet. Too expensive and not a good quality vacuum😤
I love mine
