This vacuum cleaner has been a game changer🌼 It works extremely well and much less expensive that those other vacuum cleaners. It has been fantastic and I can’t say enough! My house has never been cleaner.
Excellent review and help explain vacuum. I spent over 4 hours reviewing these vacuums on my own and you helped me tremendously make a final decision! Thank you!
I feel old after watching such a thorough review and enjoying it. LOL, It certainly has helped with making a decision about purchasing this vacuum. Thanks!
I agree with other commnets. I am impressed and appreciate how well you covered pros and cons of the vacuum and gave visiual displays for us to see. One other item I would add the the ZU62 as a do not like as compared to ZU561 is that if there is a problem with the brush roller on ZU62 you cannot replace. The ZU561 has removable head
A firm handshake to you, sir, for this thorough review. I’m not prone to hyperbole but I must say you might be best the best at what you do - the Wayne Gretzky of vacuum reviewers. Because of you, I purchased the the NV752 and it’s an absolute dream. Thank again for sharing your wisdom.
Just purchased this vacuum two days ago, used it in my bedroom and was surprised with how much it picked up; needless to say, my previous vacuum wasn't doing jack squat. I bought it at Best Buy after reading multiple reviews on the site, practically every review had something positive to say and slight drawbacks that shouldn't deter anyone from purchasing this vacuum. Looking forward to how it holds up for another couple months and/or years.
I have the Shark Navigator nv150 and there are only two storage spots and three tools. I slide the dusting brush over the end of the crevice tool and that works great. Good comparison thank you!
I agree with a previous commenter - this is an exceptional review. I have long hair and am sick to the back teeth with having to wrestle it off rollers or cutting it off rollers. I was looking at the Shark ZU62 as there were recommendations online re human hair and how well this vacuum deals with it. I was still sceptical. I'm convinced now that the Shark ZU62 6:32-7:05 is the one for me *subscribed* thank you!!
It seems to me the longer hose is a good alternative to the lift away feature. It should perform well in a single story home without stairs. Good video!
Thank you for your review, I have been buying a shark vacuum for years now.. my first one still works but I have given it away to my parents, the second I have been using it for work, but I think I will exchange my work one for Navigator and bring the other one home. Why in the world Shark didn't put lights on it is stupid?!?!
I used to have one, I sold it because I hate shark machines but it cleaned hard floors okay but wouldn't get the fine dirt out of my low pile carpet on max suction, excellent review though.
Excellent video. Very well done! You gave alot of good insight into the different models and I was able to make a solid purchase decision. Going with the ZU62C!
I'm trying to decide between this and the navigator zero m lift away. I have 4 dogs, 3 of them have long hair and a cat with long hair 😅 my terrible carpets in our rental are fairly high pile shaggy mess. In some rooms we have hard floors too. You can imagine I vacuum a lot 😅 basically every day now. Is the larger bin size and longer hose worth not having headlights and lift away? If I had lift away I only see myself using it for our cars but who knows might be something you only miss once you've had it.
Thanks for this in depth review. I’ve viewed most of your shark vids in my research. Very informative! Which would you suggest for mostly carpet/pet hair? This or the Apex duo with Zero M? A direct compare video perhaps? Thanks again.
Have you had issues with hose cracking were bend is or L shape ? Have a NV651 and hose broke in half poorly designed can't decide to stay with shark or try Dyson stick or ball vacuum.
I have the shark rotary power pet vacuum and I love it. However today it will not stay powered on unless I hold the silver power on button the whole time I’m vacuuming. Not fun! I cleaned it, cleaned the brush, etc....it works fine IF I hold the button down, which is extremely hard with some arthritis in my hands ☹️ What in earth could be causing that? It lights up when I push the button...I lower the handle and the brush engages, but it shuts off unless the button is pushed down. Any ideas?????
I bought mine at walmart, it's the shark navigator nv150 model. I think this vacuum is the most similar to mine that I can find on RUclips. My friend has the dyson dc 25 that I use to clean his house with. I like everything about the shark way more than dyson, even down to the simpler design.
I was surprised that you didn't show the hair in the brush roll (at about 7 minutes into the video) after vacuuming it up to show if it did or didn't hang up in the roller. ??? Great video though, thank you. :)
@@madtitan1779 not at all, for me anyways. I grew up with a vacuum that was waaaay heavier and nowhere near as nice as nice one. So maybe I'm just grateful I have a vacuum 🤷♀️. The thing I love most is no hair in the brush roll! 😁
Mine stopped working. It turns on but it’s not picking up anything but it sounds like it was clogged but can’t seem to find where it’s clogged. (I cleaned everything and since then it stopped working)
Hey, one question, since you got all these vacuums, does the nozzle on the apex with zero m fit the nv752? I have the bigger version of the nv752, but really don't want to buy a replacement head with the old style brush if I don't have to.
That's a good question. We have several DuoClean vacuums and like them. Offhand, I do notice that the brushrolls are linked, so when the soft brushroll is spinning in hard floor mode (it cannot be turned off) then the bristled brushroll is also spinning and some people may not want brushrolls spinning on their hard floor (if they have delicate flooring for example). Also, if you get Zero-M technology because you don't want to deal with any hair wrap, that technology does not extend to the soft brushroll - which can get hair wrapped around it (this could be an issue for some who get both Zero-M Technology and DuoClean Technology). Some DuoClean machines feel a little hard to push forward on deep pile carpet but others do not - so not sure if we can contribute that to the Technology. Perhaps other folks have ideas or have had some issues with their DuoClean Technology?
I wouldn't vacuum cereal. Would you vacuum a stick or a bunch of rocks? I think that is a bad idea. I think the review is great but the examples are perfect. If you did it with dry leaves or a bunch of hair, or dog hair maybe we can start there. Unless they all work the same then it wouldn't be much of a review. So that is why we need cereal to make it like that.
In the review on our site we run it on 1 inch pile carpet and it does move - not great but not too bad (there is a 30 second video clip in the review (vacuum-cleaner-advisor.com/Shark-Vacuums/shark-pet-pro-review.html)). I have not tried this on 2 inch pile - that's pretty deep pile carpet.
Good question. However I used it fairly infrequently after the review so I really can't provide an answer that lets you know about the vacuum longevity.
Oh my god, is this LOCK PICKING LAWYER??? If it’s not, then you, dear sir, have a auditory doppelgänger! Like the carbon into that HEPA filter, my mind is BLOWN🤯

Which one would you recommend this one or the true pet nv752 for carpet and pet hair?........thank you!

Very professional and exactly what I needed. My only suggestion would be too speak up a bit. I had a hard time hearing.
Looks like having a long hose reach and having it carry power to the floor nozzle, are mutually exclusive.
Thank you so much, Been looking for info on this model, just ordered mine now.

THANK YOU for this extremely professional and thorough review. Excellent job!

Best vacuum I ever bought.

This is the only vacuum i’ve ever bought that does what it claims. I’m surprised it’s quieter than their more expensive models.
The Zu60 has a regular crevice tool with no brush on it i wish they would have kept that
Have you had issues with hose cracking were bend is or L shape ? Have a NV651 and hose broke in half poorly designed can't decide to stay with shark or try Dyson stick or ball vacuum.
I bought this vacuum thanks in no small part to this excellent video review 👍 much appreciated !

Yes, it still somewhat wraps up.
Woah. Just noticed we have the same last name
Howdy from another Elbert family in Arizona.
Hey Vacuum Advisor can you please one day review the Bissell Pet hair eraser model 1650A?
I recently got this vacuum and LOVE it! 😁
Brooke Ceslak it must be a pain that it’s is not powered lift away?

Grew up with a crappy vacuum cleaner?
Luxury!!
We lived in a shoebox on the side of the road.
Wow, thank you for the in depth comparison, extremely helpful!
Great video. Very informative and detailed I really enjoyed it!
Just ordered one thanks for the review!
Red vacuum hose releases towards the bottom to give you longer reach. FYI
How about ZU621 ?

Just tried it. Nope - it doesn't make an electrical connection so the APEX cleaner head is not powered when on the NV752.
Is there any negative to the DuoClean head that would make a Shark vacuum without DuoCleam preferable?
That's a good question. We have several DuoClean vacuums and like them. Offhand, I do notice that the brushrolls are linked, so when the soft brushroll is spinning in hard floor mode (it cannot be turned off) then the bristled brushroll is also spinning and some people may not want brushrolls spinning on their hard floor (if they have delicate flooring for example). Top review. Thankyou very much...
I have the red one.
Just got it.
Haven't got it out the box yet.
Just about to.
This was very helpful. Thank you
So that filter will help not allowing things back in air
Its no a powerhead? , I purchased one and the brush doesn't spin when you power on
the 17 dislikes are Bissell owners
sounds like a great vacuum
How about stairs? I just had a really hard time. There's got to be an easier way than what I just did.

most vacs have exaust filters
How many amps does the zu62 have?

do you sell vaccums if you do I'd like to talk to you?
Nope - I just review them.
@@VacuumAdvisor I would like to contact you.
How did you get it turn on at 02:19??
Does this still work and is it reliable?
Good question. However I used it fairly infrequently after the review so I really can't provide an answer that lets you know about the vacuum longevity.
I’ve no doubt that these are very good cleaners but I have to wonder why they are styled from the 1970s, they look so dated
Maybe it's an homage design?
how many filters does it use
It has 2 pre-motor filters and 1 post motor filter.
I think the C just means it's the Canadian model
Mine just quit running while vacationing!! Won’t start again!!
was the filters maintained?
No idea. I found the vac stored in a closet. I look at the filters and they looked clean. It worked fine for about 10 minutes and quit!
You can tell this guy has a 9½ inch crevice tool. He's got big d energy.
Does it do toilet paper?
Gee, a bigger dust canister you have to empty less frequent, and a smaller one you have to empty more...🤔, Brilliant deduction 👍
