Nice setup. Gotta love EFR's... been running an 7163 on my R for a few years. Was one of the first guys to do one on the R. Sleeved block, rods, pistons, etc of course. Also run the Torco accelerator on 93 + meth. It makes a big difference at ~33 lbs of boost. Ghosted by tuners... apparently that's been the trend with the R unfortunately.

Happy to see it helped… SS has been boring since most of the content tends to be repair oriented vs performance improvement so haven’t been very active. Your video popped up in my feed and was thrilled to see it. Looking forward to more. I’ll post some updates with my R on IG soon.
2.3L swap. I call BS. What did you do about the angle gear with all that extra power???? If you have more than 350HP you got angle gear failure coming......
I think the r's are 2.4 or 2.5, I know their cylinders got bored out from 2.3 but was the reason for weak walls, hence having to shim...don't think the regular 2.3 had to be shimmed
@@doner6843 I know that the R is 2.5, I was just asking if he shimmed the 2.3 T5 motor he put in. You “shouldn’t” need to shim the 2.3 but if you are going for power or taking apart, imo you should just shim Bc it adds a small help to the cylinder wall. A shim won’t stop a cracked wall but it can help pervert it.

How did you get the interior dark? For example the plastic piece where the mirror is attached i can not find OEM jn dark.

Whyd you swap in the 2.3? I have a v50 t5 r design that’s AWD with the m66 and I thought about swapping the s60r motor in it.
S60r motors have a 83mm bore so the walls are super thin if you wanna throw power at it you either sleeve it or get a different motor
