That's why all Volvo meets should be in big parking lots, trying to take my p2 v70r through any 3 point turn can become a nightmare of a 5-7 point turn especially in Seattle. I'm sure Portland is bad too.
Hi man! Nice car (I have similar "T5"). Put on a sports air filter and return the suction plastic flat tube to the filter box (for example, an open box). You will suck in cold air from outside and not warm air from the engine. You will see that it will go much better. Tom.
In all honesty it’s just a nice daily. It’s just when you start to do too much to the R when you wanna keep it simple. All I did was BC coils( better then 4C imo) 3”catless Re Volv Downpipe(big differences With no tune yet) F12 sport 17” wheels(pegs were too fucking heavy for daily and speed) Last thing to do is fmic with stage 1 tune That’s all you really need
I have a silly question...I'm looking into purchasing an 04 s60 r with an auto transmission that has updated C4s, and needs the pcv work done. Q: Does it stay in performance mode because of the suspension upgrade? Also, is the Auto trans any good on these cars?? Not a fan of auto at all but for the price it's almost a steal. That and it has 200k on the dial. Any opinion or advice good or bad will be helpful. This will possibly be my 1st Volvo.
Nice car. I had to get rid of my s60r (black and Atacama interior) because it had too many issues, but I stayed with Volvo. An s60 AWD, just not an R. If I can find another good one I'll get it.
do you still have this? hows she holding up. ive got my 02 legacy gt with a sohc sti build. makes mid 300's to the wheels. absolute blast but high mileage. considering getting one of these to build out
I like the boost ability kit but it is pretty pricey the car does "breath" better if that makes any sense and it looks awesome if I were to do it again I would have chose something different.
These use a haldex awd system... Pretty sure it's a front wheel biased system, meaning the fronts work like normal and the computer decides when to use the rears if needed...
@@josiahrothe1238Thank you for your answer. You were sitting on coils or springs. Sorry for these question I find it really hard to find any wheel forum for these cars
Are you guys also annoyed about the handbreak, that you gotta pull to the rear seats to function? Its not a R thing, but p2 in general, but still. Im so annoyed of it, but absolutely love the car. And the breaks are horrible. Totally disagree with Josiah, sorry.
@@dave5125 I did however spend two months looking for the perfect one. Not color wise or sport kit wise, just mechanically. Take your time so you’re not hit with picking up someone else’s project.

Your Volvo is 100% better than any Subaru.....Volvos give a better ride ....and Subarus sound crappy with aftermarket exhaust.....I just bought a 2010 Volvo S 80 Turbo 6 and I love it ....281 factory horsepower.......I removed the T 6 emblem from the trunk so I can ( surprise) other cars off the line....its very fast......😆😆😆

I own a 04 and I would like to hear that beauty running, great video.👍
Hands down the worst turning radius! still love my R though
I agree!
Lls real shit I’ve thought about getting 15mm spacers cause they say it makes a biggg difference.
Yeah the one big thing I hate about my R too.
same on my 850 t5r, my brothers v8 xc90 seems to have a super tight turn radius tho
Not as bad as a 3rd Gen eclipse 😂
2 fingers in the front and one in the back, how it should be 🤣
This flew over a lot of heads😭😭
2 for the pink and 1 for the stink
hopefully picking up my own s60r soon, i'm excited to have one!
Heck yeah!
The turning radius of a battleship.
I love my 50 point turns it adds character
Lol
Lool
I’m in love with my 2001 Volvo S 60, I just bought it and I never loved a car like this one.
I knew you were going to say the seats minute you opened the car.

I have tested both with the air box tube and the lid on and neither effect performance in any way. to each their own I guess lol

How do you get rid of the light in dash when going to bc coils
taylor sondreal I think Hilton has a tune add on for 4C delete. I just don’t have it on my R yet. All I know is I love my BC coils over 4C.

Going from a b8 A4 to an S60r, BY FAR the biggest adjustment and shock is that goddamn turning radius.

Quick question, what does the ipd charge pipe add in term of benefits please
I said cat back I mean to say catless 🤦♂️
