I know long-form is a pain in the ass to produce by comparison, but this was great. Always enjoy your calm, intentional perspective no matter the format.
Been decades (late 90s to 2008ish) since I have been into vintage clothing (Well, I still dabble in it.) Fun to see you point out things that I had learned when I was heavily thrifting for vintage. True vintage (40s-60s) clothing has pretty much dried up at thrift stores because they want to carry new looking clothing. I had a Field and Stream hunting jacket in super bright red, probably from the 50s or 60s. Back then pearl snaps were big, except for the ones in plaid since they were so common. I always wanted a Tag Heuer watch back in the early 90s. Used to always be in the magazines, so they're not anymore?
The bit on old jeans shrinking is spot on. I found a pair USA made 505 that looked unworn (i almost thought they were fake) marked W33 but they fit more like a 31. Hemmed them to my liking and only cost me $15.
Best vintage spots in LA (or at least my favorite): - Mister Freedom - Raggedy Threads - Harvester International - Wilder Los Angeles - Denim Revival (also the best place for repairs in LA) - Melet Mercantile (the owner, Bob Melet, was a key figure is establishing RRL) - Rose Bowl
My local thift regularly gets vintage Original Penguin button downs like my dad wore (their cuts fit me like they're tailored), vintage Wrangler/western and classic rock concert t shirts. Always a good find every week for $3.99-12.99. And just walked away today with a camo jacket, vintage T, NBA basketball jersey and Levis 501s...all for $34. I do find it a pain to riffle through the racks...but the hidden gems are worth it.
I always check the shirt pockets. I was in West Palm Beach looking at shirts in a secondhand store and when I pulled the shirt out and was looking at, I could tell there was something in the pocket there was three $100 bills in the shirt pocket so from now on, I always check the pockets.
You are a handsome guy. You could look good in most clothes. I wished I could. I wear what I like , and what's comfortable for me. But I'm not good looking.
please keep yapping on youtube
Clock their tea 😂
Never saw Albert in a horizontal before. This is cool.

Nice find with the jacket!
My dad gave me his Field & Stream nylon down puffer vest from the 70’s. Still have it - still in my me piece ❤️

@edgyalbert great vid! any consideration for the 37mm BB54 instead of the 58?
Great editing

This is the only platform I am more famous than you on. How does it feel!
Please remove the 1-2 words at a time subtitles. it's making my head hurt.
