Can someone please explain, why is there no white king takes pawn on d6 instead of changing queens? Cannot find any reason why Shirov did no take the pawn. He could then go for the night and probably win the game. Thanks!
Actually not. All the wins came against players with elo rating lower than champ's rating. This means he was expected to win the game, which he did. No surprise there. You don't get many points for wins that were expected. Carlsen my actually lost a point or two for the draw because a stronger player not winning a game against a relatively weaker player is viewed unfavourably.
I try to watch every single video you post, just love your presentation. My daughter is almost three, any idea how I can get her to start training in chess here in Canada.
