    16 Year old Gukesh is currently at 2720 in Live Rating. He has surpassed Vidit to become India No. 3 & sniffing on the shoulders of Hari to become India No 2. I predict Gukesh will be India No.1 with in a year crossing Vishy's Current 2756 Rating. This kid is an epitome of Sincerity, Discipline, Dedication & Humility. While the world was focusing on Arjun, Nihal & Prag... He quietly kept doing his grind & now is centre of attraction in World Chess. 6/6 on Board 1 in Chess Olympiad is surreal. Take a Bow! 💐

    • @SK-ck9qu
      @SK-ck9qu 2 года назад +3

      Actually not. All the wins came against players with elo rating lower than champ's rating. This means he was expected to win the game, which he did. No surprise there. You don't get many points for wins that were expected. Carlsen my actually lost a point or two for the draw because a stronger player not winning a game against a relatively weaker player is viewed unfavourably.

Sure you give up N+R for Rook and 2 pawns but at least Black's attack is slowed down and there is no chance of Black queening a pawn. The a and b pawns then become more of a threat for White.

    I’m always stuck on the 600 level and idk why, it’s almost like people are making different account and just are crushing me on it. Which this is wrong to me because I will never get about 700 in my life

    I think gukesh is the only who can replicate or perhaps even beat alireza's rocket rise to 2800. For others its already too late.

      India is the host country so they currently have 3 teams playing individually.

      India have 3 teams as host country can have 2 teams and they can have 1 more team if the no. Of total participants are odd.
      All the three teams are playing.
