THIS WAS SOOOOOOOO HELPFUL. You don’t understand. I always play so good by myself but when I get on the court I get scared if I do anything bad that would make my teammates mad or disappointed such as missing a wide open layup. I always overthink it and make it sound harder then it is. Even though I know it’s easy.
Gotta get past the overthinking. Once you do that it becomes much easier and fun to play.
Same
Same man same
I hate myself if I miss one open lay
Same man…I just wanna show people that I’m good but I can’t because I play so bad in pe basketball games
When I’m in a game I normally sing a song to myself so I’m less nervous
CloudyMoon 3 if that works for you, I’m all for it man💪🏽
I did that before and scored 30
Thanks for your tips
Same
Nice
YOO WHAT THAT ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE, he said when ever there is no consequences you don't get nervous but when ever there IS a consequence you think about what happens if you fail/lose, thanks bro this helped me a lot!
💪🏽
I like to tell my self "built for dis"
I always looked lost on the court in games but I was always lights out in practice. Just as soon as my confidence started to go up in games I tore my meniscus.... sad life :(
You got this king lighten up. And get back up stronger
@@voyagerofsatan9715 facts
Keep your head up the key to wining is to be confident focused prepared and tough
James Harden shi*
Yea at this point ur meniscus might be better since this comment was a while ago but a meniscus tear is a injury that usually helps as long as u train your knee will get better
My key is Toughness, focusing and practicing I did this once and got a 19 point game with 5 assists and 3 rebounds as a 10 year old :))
For me I do good one game and get so scared that I won’t preform as good that I just blow it
For me it was just getting used to being under pressure and practicing so you know you won't under preform even if you have confidence
Just dont be too confident because it could end up messing you up
I’m like 12 and I dropped 40 points, 7 assists and 2 rebounds.
@@Chasedamulah thats sum point guard numbers, im 11 shooting guard and dropped 37 4 assist and 16 rebounds because kids be missing alot
@@Poloskii nice 👍
Where was this video when I was playing in High School???
GTG Beats man I asked myself the same question...so I made this video haha
@@VisionDrivenBasketball i wish this channel was around when I was younger. Spent a lot of time on ckickbait vids and watch ballislife mixtapes. The workouts seem so effectove
If it makes you feel any better? I'm 36,my high school days were ages ago.
i am in the exact same situation right now. the way i play in practice or just a regular pickup game isn’t the same in my AAU games. this video really did help, thanks a lot.
Erik Martinez glad it helped you!
You making all the videos about my weaknesses good shit
glad it helped man!
It's hard for me because I play with people way out of my age group. I always overthink things because I'm scared of the criticism. Criticism from older people is a bummer because you can't be always talking back to people older than you, I'm a very respectful person at my 12 years of age.
This video was so so helpful for me, thank you sir.
You’ll learn soon that a lot of them don’t know what they are talking about but also bro you got time to mature and find your own game. Once you do you’ll be fine and not be as affected by criticism. Also criticism isn’t bad just think of it as possible pointers everybody in this game who truly likes the game loves learning more about it and how to get better just go with the flow and keep improving.
SAME I am in the. Exact same situation. I am also twelve years old and play with 15,16, and 17 year olds.
@@ahmiyawebb916 i 16 and play with 14 year olds 😖
@@elias7525 it’s cool
bro if anything you can talk more shit than them
This video helps so much I was just cut from my basketball team even though I have a good skill set I just couldn’t preform in games. I was thinking about just quitting the sport but I am about to work hard and change my mindset
What is happening now?
Good for you hope you can get back up keep up the good work
hows it going
I feel exactly like what you describe in the begging! Then I’ll have that one break out game 25/10/5 and I’ll just play better from then on .
You living in the future 5/10/25
I played my game today and I had 15 points 4 blocks and 4 rebounds. This video is helpful.
Thanks for the tips
I absolutely love this video! This will definitely help me on tonight’s game.

This is a great vid dude
This was what I needed . Thank you! Gonna work and be better
This happens to me every time thank you for the help
this was so inspirational, thank you
This was so helpful I needed this so much
This video helped me alot. Over the past month ive been doing great at my high school camps, specifically having a 15 point game with 5 three pointers. I went from a bench player on my freshman team that barely had a spot on the jv team, to a starter on jv and the best player on there that isn’t at the moment on varsity. I play for a competitive high school that won region championship the year prior, so this a big deal to me, the goal is to make varsity when the season comes and with the progression i have had it seems reachable.
Nice.
how the last 2 years been for you bro? basketball wise 🔥
This is exactly how I feel everytime I play in a game. I get so nervous by the possibility of letting my teammates down, and get in my own head. You articulated everything so perfectly. Thank you!
I appreciate your words of encouragement
Thank you so much this really helped ❤
Thanks I needed that!!
Thank you for breaking things down and making it easy to understand all your code your better than 99.9% of the basketball youtubers when it comes to breaking things down so I thank u for that🔥💯
This video helped a lot , i train like 2-4 hours every day and my work just won’t show off in games as an aau 7th grader who is now practicing about 4 hours every day, This video will help me with my in game performance so thank you!
Thank you man I really needed that
thank you man this is very helpful, i cant thank you enough
This was SOOOOO FReakin helpful bro thx.
Thank you for the tips it was sooooooo helpful i also subed
Bro ,thank you ,made my day 🙌🙌
mad helpful preciate you bro
Thanks man I'll try this out.
Bro thank you so much. I’m coming back from and injury in my playoff game and my whole team is counting on me. Can’t wait bro.
yo this helped a lot thanks man
This helped me thank you so much
This guy summed it all up pretty good. My problem is endurance and not wasting all my energy running back and forth to the point where I can’t even shoot cause I’m gassed out
It's not wasting energy when you sprint back on d
All you got to do if you don't have enough energy for continuing playing on maximum effort is to tell your coach about it then you can relax on the bench and if you are ready you'll be back on the court
This was so helpful, thank you very much.
Mad respect👊🔥
I am going to try saying "Nobady can stop me i feel like the greatest" cus when i say it when am in a chill mood really hypes me upp love the video
Thanks I needed this
Bro this was such a help thanks for what your doing keep doing it
Thanks brother, goodluck with ur future!
I’ve actually started to figure this out myself and started implementing a lot of moves I do in practice into some pick up games and stuff, it gives you so much freedom and makes you play a lot better, you need to drown out what other people say if you make a mistake and keep doing it even if you fail once or twice, or even three times, example, I’ve been trying to learn a fancy type of layup that’s super effective and I’ve started pulling it off more and more in practice but I can never get the confidence to do it in a game and I finally did it today a few times and only missed once, it’s really all about your mindset and how you perceive pressure to succeed
ty so much this was helpful
Great vid!
Thank you so much this helped me a lot your awsome
Thanks bro, you helped me a lot😁💪
I usually play well but earlier today I played a game with a Rec team and only scored 4 and we lost by 30 and I shot 2/9 this helps a lot
Thx for the vid. Very informative video. At school scrimmages in practice I score like 10-20 points per game put when I'm at a tournament I score like 5-15 points. Tomorrow I have a game and hopefully I play to my full potential after this video. Thx again
Tear Coaxeal glad this video helped. Remember that changing your mindset is like changing a habit. You might not be where you want to be at today. But focus on getting better every single time until it’s a habit.
Casethegreat 21 I think ppl should know that you don’t have to score to be effective if you can’t rack up points rack up the assists u can be just as dominant. Take for example Magic Johnson say the only part of his game that would be good is passing yes he won’t be as dominant but he can get teams wins and make the team better, don’t let your height bring your confidence down!
never say hopefully say i will it makes it wayyy better
how did you play brodie? 💀💀
thanks a lot bro u helped me a lot
This was such a great vid, very helpful, you also have very good analogy, keep up the good work mate 👍
Really good for all hoopers out there. Also when practicing, put a bit more pressure on yourself by having to make shots in a row so you get pressure from having to make the next one like in a game
that analogy was so good that i subscribed
Thank you! This is my pregame air pod listen
Bro this was helpful and changed everything thankss
This actually helped thanks alot man
Thanks a lot! Had an off night today
Needed this ❤️
When you said don't think about anything I felt that 💯
Same 🤝
Thank you so much❤
This helped last year I watched this video and then I wasn’t scoring now I’m scoring way more and I’m way more confident thanks this helped A lot and btw practice makes perfect
Although this video came out years ago it was very applicable. Thank you so much because in AAU practice I would pull up from anywhere on the court and hit it but in game I would shoot once a game.
This was some really good advice
Thank u man, u saved me from screwing up again with my mindset your a real one😊😊
Thank you A LOT man this vid is very VERY HELPFULL tbh thank you a lot.
Thank you a lot I have a tournament tomorrow we had three point guards at the beginning now we have one and I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to be affective I used to be really scared to take shots this video really helped I’ll update if we win tomorrow
Thanks a lot bro. This helps a lot
yo man you are great !! thanks man.!!
Bro I love this😁
this really helps thanks.
🐐🐐 great information bro deserve more views.
Thanks man, I got a game tomorrow and my team aint+'t very encouraging so I gotta find that mindset to keep me going. Thanks!
Just as I wanted it bro💯💯💯💯💪
Thank you for this vid. I would be good in like 3v3 situations but I would struggle in 5v5. For example I would play great in PE basketball but when I play in a tournament I would tighten up and turn the ball over and play scared too.
vid diagnosed my problem exactly. thanks
Omg thank you, I'm so good in practice but so bad in games and it's always cause I'm scared. My coach would always get mad cause every time I missed I put my heads on my head acting like it was the end of the world when I missed.
Great video, boss.
Just came here after missing easy shots in a 3v3 and I wondered why cause the shots were so ez and I thought “maybe it’s the pressure” so I searched up how to get rid of it and I think this is really gonna help cause everything you said not to do I did so thanks man👍
This is actually really helpful
Thank you so much you help me a lot
Thank you so much i play more comfortably and confident in my games
I really appreciate this video
thank you so much man'
Just always be solid, think of being selfless and being there for your team👍🏼.
Hey, my mom is going to try to get your session thing. But this really helped me, and i have a game on sunday and i bet it helped. Thank you so much for this.
I have pretty good handles and a pretty good shooter and when I'm at practice I play to my full potential but in my games I lose it all and I forget
Bro thank you this help me alot
yessir daeshun!!! mississippi basketball is cold
thx man
