Receiving serves is the one this I’m good at, no matter how hard the ball is being served, even if it hurts. I am really good at getting it up it the air so the setter can get it.
this is EXACTLY what ive been struggling with! except i know what im doing wrong, its just a habit to do it wrong so i always forget to fix it so ive literally been working for HOURS every day before regionals and hopefully i do better!

Hi koko, I love watching your videos! Thank you for helping us get better and giving great tips. Can you make a video of getting better at timing when spiking or hitting the ball? A lot of the time when hitting the ball, I accidentally hit off of my fingertips or right below my hand and above my wrist. I heard this is a timing issue. Any suggestions or tips will be greatly appreciated.
That is not necessary, it is only for people that are extremely experienced and professionals for there forearms to touch. You should just try to keep a flat platform.
I could also be the angle of your shoulders and upper body! like how when you are receiving a float serve you want to get under the serve and push it up, for a strong serve with a spin you want to be behind it
This really helps me because this is always happening to me I try to pass forward and it ends up going left or right and when I try to pass left or right it goes forward
1) try the lil pancake pancake sausage sausage hands(i have no better name lol sry if you dont know what i mean) and try to have your thumbs pointing down 2) you might just physically be unable to do it they don't have to touch like that as i assume you arent at a collegiate level or anything

Hey Koko, what do you do when you can't bring your underarms together? There's like an 1cm gap all the time which I can't close due to my broad shoulders.
Same same, idk why but if I force to much it starts to hurt I guess I’m too skinny for them to touch but you can make your arms are Flat, thats all you need.
@@Pewchieeyou just need to stretch ur arms put ur together ur hands like ur begging for food and put ur hands on a flag surface and stretch ur hands you don’t be to be bigger to make ur forearms touch you just need to stretch them to get use to them

You can actually use the ball method. (Where you make a fist with one hand and wrap the other hand around it)
You can use this method of passing too.

My coach always says that if we are moving weird when we pass, so will the ball. You have to stay still
