    Why is the OKC Police so reluctant to use newer testing methods? Good grief, 40, even 50, year old cold cases are being solved every day now it seems.

    • @RhettyforHistory
      @RhettyforHistory  2 года назад +6

      I'm not sure the reasoning. Maybe they don't think they have the right things do do what they have? Or maybe it's a cost issue and they can only do so many extra per year? I'm not sure but it's disappointing. Thank you for watching.

    It’s bad enough losing your child to murder, but two is just unimaginable. Poor family.
    When killers get away with their crimes not only is there no justice for the victims and their families but who knows how many more people they kill over their life time.
    Thanks Rhetty ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺

    • @RhettyforHistory
      @RhettyforHistory  2 года назад +4

      You're right about that. There could be more unsolved cases they are connected with. I really think they need to take second look at this case in more detail. Modern methods of testing on the evidence they have might reveal something but having it sit surely won't. Thank you for watching Jodie.

    I was living in Oklahoma at the time, and remember when this happened. I have wondered if their murderer had been found, and am saddened to find out that's not the case. Hopefully one day the person will be found who did this horrible thing. The little cemetery is fascinating, small but so much history in that one small area. The tombstone of Mrs Whitehorse was heart touching, obviously a woman of integrity with a history of sadness. The sisters grave site was heart breaking, we can only imagine the pain this brings to the family even now. Thank you Rhetty, these girls need some attention brought to them, if only in a video.

    Terribly sad, cant imagine losing a loved one to a murderer, but two? With both sisters murdered and both parents dead, theres only the two brothers left as far as I know. I sure do wish the Oklahoma authorities would get off their a$$es and solve the case so as to give whats left of the family closure. I mean,come on, how hard can it be? There almost certainly had to have been at least a witness or more at the fair and some DNA,even if that DNA is enough to give a clue as to the killers ancestry,thats something. Parabola type labs have been sourced, theres got to be more.

    • @RhettyforHistory
      @RhettyforHistory  2 года назад

      I think they have to take a closer look at the case and a good start would be another examination on the evidence for DNA. It's hard to believe there weren't more witnesses. Thank you for watching.
