- If you just want my opinion on the best one to buy right now, I would say the GoPro MAX. For the price it is amazing, the only thing the X3 is superior at is low light situations like mountain biking in the woods, in my opinion. But if you can wait, I am confident GoPro will be coming out with a version 2 of the GoPro MAX, called the MAX 2 or MAX V2 or MAX squared haha. It will be a beast but will also likely be around $675 for the camera only. I think the reason we have not seen it earlier is because they crushed it on the first attempt, learning from their Fusion experiment and listening to their athletes.
If you are keen for my opinion what the video where I willI go through an examination of the GoPro MAX and the Insta360 X3. In this unbiased review, I'll let you know my opinion on both including usability in the field and the post production process.

Great video Ryan! I've just ordered the Insta360 x3 as a christmas present. I was sitting down with a content marketer in Revy who uses both and once I saw the editing software for the Insta that convinced me to try a different brand for the first time in several years.
Nice, the X3 is a very awesome camera, technically the best 360 to date. I honestly just cannot wait to see what GoPro can do on a Version 2! Looking forward to seeing some content you create with the X3.
Im looking at purchaisng either the Insta360 x3 or gopro max for skiing/ snowboarding. Ive always been a gopro guy but Im liking what im Seeing on Insta360 reviews. Whats your opinion so far.?

When recording long sports, the MAX wins. The Insta X3 stops recording at 29 minutes, then starts again 15 seconds later. You miss footage! No way around it right now.

@@RyandeMillianodo you have experience with the GoPro fusion? It's a new to me first camera and I am having a hard time finding info...even from the GoPro site
I am a kayaker and I have both. I find that GoPro Max has a better lens coating, which repels water drops better.
Such good feedback, that is good to know. It’s always hard to film in those splash intense conditions. Have you ever used a product like RainX? I’ve always been too nervous to try but it might be a good video.
@@RyandeMilliano No, I haven’t. But I might try it on X3 as it’s getting worse perhaps because of micro scratches.

Which is the best one?
Both amazing, if you don’t mind a bit of extra editing, go with the X3. If you want amazing footage with easy editing, go for the GPH12.
Iirc the go pro actually has 6 internal mics
I like the go-pro and won't switch anytime soon.
I agree for sure, I have not had any reason to switch.
