      @jacobhartmann1050 Год назад +14

      I also wrote that I had looked it up and read he had CTE RIGHT before the narrator discussed it...
      Anyway, I think the stat is now 345 out of 376 former NFL players have been found to have CTE (post-mortem of course, only way it can be diagnosed). Just an insane stat... hell, even Demaryius Thomas was found to have stage 2 CTE- I didn't even see him take many big hits throughout his career, though I know the sub-concussive ones can be just as dangerous with enough of them...
      Hate to be cliche here, but just imagine Antonio Brown. If DT had it, AB almost CERTAINLY has it.

    As an avid fisherman of the gulf of Mexico. There is absolutely zero water in the gulf that would ever freeze over like in the story of the two NFL players and two college players. They may have gotten extremely worn out from trying to stay on the overturned boat hull. But they could not have gotten frostbite, or hypothermia. The waters never go below 72 degrees to my knowledge in all of history. That's why Florida doesn't get snow but maybe once every 30 years and only very north part. But the waters never get anywhere near 60 degrees. This is why so many large reptiles survive there and nowhere else in America. So I would really like to find out what happened. The story from the one survivor found doesn't make sense. Even if hypothermia was the cause, every one of them would have gotten it if that's the truth. It doesn't add up. Why is this not questioned?

      You absolutely can get hypothermia in 72 degree water. You can get it in 80 degree water.

    • @rolmodel12.
      @rolmodel12. 11 месяцев назад +13

      Hypothermia sets in when your core body temp fall below 95°, and it's effects can start way before that. And water will cool you off faster than air. That is why you need to stay dry when the air temp is "cold" to us.
      Think if it like this: 80° water will try to bring a human body's temp closer to that temp. Unless the water is around 98°, that will be trouble. That's why we get into water to cool off. That's what it does, and does so quickly.
      And that's not even talking about the effects of evaporation....
      Just saying, man. You may be right about something else going on, but the hypothermia part does make complete sense, medically anyway. Doesn't make it less tragic, though.

    • @_HimToo
      @_HimToo 11 месяцев назад +3

    Fantastic job..
    Its still so unbelievable about that fishing trip. I remember it like it was yesterday. Sure we can all armchair quarterback that...but what a horrible situation to be in. When the story first broke..instantly I thought the longer it takes to find them..the more likely they would be dead. Even though they're all athletes..the unforgiving waters will win. None of those 3 will never be found and that's what is so sad. I cant imagine the horror of that. Rip to all 3 of them...and that footage of that pigeon flying down the field with those players was just surreal.😢

    Family and friends ignore too many signs for me... of the ppl they are suppose to love most... when they are going thru things...he should have never been out there by himself if all that was going on previous. Football is the culprit of the trauma but that was these men dream. They signed contracts to play and dream of making it to the nfl. They know the risks maybe they thought it couldn't happen to them but getting hit by a linebacker is just like being in an head on collision. You know you are risking your health and body to serious and life threating injury and possibly being paralyzed and death. I do believe the athletic organizations should provide more yearly detailed physicals, brain scans and psychological counseling for their players to check for their well being.

    51-4 record. Cullen was a stud. Wish I would have been able to see him play.🏈 I've been interested in this story since it happened. Seems he should have been mentally thoroughly gone over after that episode where he drove 150 miles past his house. Seems that should have been a huge red flag that something was not right. Regardless, it is a very sad story. Way too young. RIP🙏

    Im pretty sure the gulf of Mexico does not freeze over! I might be wrong but according to what i got when looking it up the minimum water temperature in march is 63 degrees ferinhite. Would cause hypothermia but would not freeze

      If you sit in water that temperature for a few hours you will get hypothermia and freeze to death.

      @yankees29 you can't freeze at 64 degrees. Water freezes at 32 degrees and below
      You'd simply die of hypothermia not freezing

    The 2 girls from the last video should have got the same sentence as the men. If not for them luring then into an apartment they wouldn't have been kidnapped. I don't care that they testified against the men. There was more than enough evidence to convict everyone involved especially considering they both lived and could identify everyone involved. The justice system is the biggest joke in America. There is people doing more time for attempted murder than people that actually committed murder. Make that make sense.
