Amazing that CTE can cause a person to act impulsively, but smart enough to cover up their crimes…. Also interesting they never talk about drug related CTE.
It's interesting because, as you're surely implying, it's all complete and utter bullshit used by smooth brains to defend criminals. Then again, the types of faguettes that typically defend such scumbags are also the type to never take responsibility for their own actions and blame everyone else.
"Cover up their crimes"?…Like parking the victims' vehicle at YOUR place after the murder...which contains their phone which could surely incriminate you? What's smart about that?
Brain disease doesn’t necessarily mean you are stupid. Most assume brain disease means you lose all or most common sense but that’s not true. Most people know what they are doing is wrong as well but can’t stop themselves. A computer can tell you something is wrong but that does not mean the computer fixes it. I know that’s not the best example but your brain controls every last thing in your body including your personality. If the portion of your brain that affects personality is damaged but not other parts then you could be the smartest human on the planet able to solve every single math problem and also be an angry killer for no reason and it’s true that it’s really not all you. The actions are atrocious but what’s just as sad as the deaths caused is the fact that this disease was not something that can be over come… these guys are victims as well and that’s hard to accept and most won’t, but true none the less.

I'm no expert, but Phillip Adams & Aaron Hernandez both had CTE. Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy. It's so hard to diagnose when the person is living. Only after an autopsy will doctors find damage. Many more NFL players have CTE and no one knows about it. Unfortunately maybe more players will have problems before things get better.
People claiming "bipolarism" have gotten away with murder (a lot of times, their own children)! At least most of these guys have medical and concrete receipts! I won't lie, I honestly thought OJ was innocent in the beginning, and throughout the trial.. And, after initially celebrating when OJ was acquitted, I quickly felt something was very wrong.. So, I had doubts, but it was the book, "If I did It", by OJ that convinced me of his guilt.. Because no innocent man would write that book, and he was so detailed about the murder, even in the short clips I've read/heard spoken aloud.. But, considering the climate of the time? I would have voted OJ Simpson to be innocent also
As long as our society worships them while it shits on teachers and other public servants, none of this will change. It's why I don't watch or support professional sports teams.
That's why we have to appreciate guys like N'golo Kante or Sadio Mane more. They earn millions playing other types of football (or well, soccer), but they have their feet firmly on the ground.
The Gronk/Hernandez TE tandem was just freakin scary. In the red zone especially they were both uncoverable. I’m not happy about what happened to Hernandez, but I’m kind of glad the Pats didn’t have him for a decade.

Damn Adams situation sounds like those concussions really did some damage. I’m not saying it’s an out or that it means anything he did was excusable but still seems like life’s hardships and injuries created a perfect storm for that situation.
Idk why I noticed this but I think the audio they used for the silenced gun in the Aaron Hernandez clip was either the wa2000 or ebr silenced from mw2. 15 years later and I still remember it lmao
My former mailman saw OJ and Nicole Brown a few months prior to the murder. He wishes he could go back and warn her of what her monster of a husband would do a few months later.
Jason Simpson did it. He was working that night as a chef. Had chef knives. That's why they never found the murder weapon. But the police just went after OJ.
I was in the police academy when the OJ verdict came out and it was a huge disappointment from a law enforcement standpoint. Attorneys simply turned the blame. No matter what they get paid I can’t see how they can live with themselves.
Totally agree, Dave! And we're still seeing such miscarriages of justice in today's climate. If a violent offender checks the right demographic box, they will likely go free due to "social justice." Our family has lived through it, though lived is probably not the right word. We survived.
@@qp_2528 not really. There was so much evidence against OJ. Even DNA evidence. His blood was found on the murder scene! As far as Blake goes there was very little solid evidence to support the Prosecution’s case. I don’t see any parallels with the two cases.

Of course they are. The NFL makes billions. Money talks, and it brings many advantages.
because the set up would imply police doctors AND over all the NFL. PERIOD,
I'm subbed with push all notifications and I didn't see this until it hit my recommendations 2 weeks later
Bro stfu. The NFL going out of their way to silence a YT video because a few of their 10,000s of employees have been deranged. Stop making stupid conspiracies it devalues one that could be real. They covered Hernandez on NFL network 24/7 live.
I've actually stopped watching the NFL way before the Kaperkneel drama.
Gronk and Hernandez were a scary duo both big both fast both had great hands they were literally unstoppable if they were on the field together
He literally left his car keys in the victim’s pants pocket and his bubble gum and shell casing near the victim’s body and was walking around in front of his home security cameras carrying a gun. Lmaoooo
@@MiamiPush2theLimit smart enough to delete security camera footage and smart enough to have his wife get rid of the murder weapon. Smart enough to kiss up to Kraft. Etc etc etc
Very well done! 👍 Thank you!
Unfortunately maybe more players will have problems before things get better.
antonio brown. Vontaze Burfict should face prison for that tbh.
So true. A lot of research needs to happen for them to detect it much earlier. It's unfortunate.
CTE is no excuse for murder. The helmet needs to be updated for the ever growing size and speed of players though.
People claiming "bipolarism" have gotten away with murder (a lot of times, their own children)! At least most of these guys have medical and concrete receipts! I had a *moderate* concussion about 15 years ago, causing me to see things that weren't there as well as hear voices so I can only imagine what someone with a severe (sometimes multiple) concussions is going through!
@@MitchMitch77-77 Sorry to hear that, I have never heard about the voices. All of the technology in the world and they can't make a helmet that is slobberknocker resistant? Most of us have had a mild concussion at some point and my son had a medium in HS football, even a lot of the kids were bigger than me. Maybe a Memory Foam(no pun) and carbon fiber Idk. If we start opening the door for one murder case everyone will say they have CTE. That will hurt a lot for the people that do have it.
it's not an excuse but it's definitely a contributing factor. some of the main symptoms of CTE are impulse control problems and aggression.
@@speakmorehoe Which is probably controlled by a certain part of the brain. If they could concentrate on keeping even that part of the brain from injury it would be a start. Maybe a 12 yr limitation would help like flag FB grade 3-9, start tackle 10th grade, 4 yrs college w/NIL money and 5 yrs max NFL.
This is a great video I hope you do a part 2
Great documentary. Thanks for your great editing skills.
The bad thing with this doc is now every bad action and heinous crime is going to be blamed on CTE as the ultimate reason people commit crime if they played a contact sport
... football is an impact sport, not a contact sport.
My dad actually played for the Boston bandits and I met Odin Lloyd a few times he was a great guy! RIP to him 🕊️
you know something was up with hernandez when he was driving around in an altima lol
Lmao 😂 🤣 😂
@@musseia bro not even a maxima it was an altima lol....i think the sentra was below the altima but idk if they make those anymore lol
@@MikeHunt-fo3ow , they were still making them.
I'm 5 minutes into this video and I assume concussions will be a reoccurring theme.....
I feel bad for the entire adams situation. Its very obvious he had brain damage from the NFL.
I’ve been trying to find deep coverage of the Phillip adams case for at least a year. Asking numerous crime pages over and over again to no success. Thanks
Forgot Lawrence Phillips and Rae Carruth but great video nonetheless!
CTE is scary considering these are the biggest baddest dudes on earth. When they rampage, its unstoppable
Beautifully done video! Keep up the amazing work ❤
Thank you so much!
You got me locked in with this series, subscribed!
Had to rewind Mike saying " I wanted to kill them" gotta love him, I've loved him through the good the bad and the ugly. Never doubted him for a moment, he's a good man.
That phillip adams 911 call was dale gribble and hank hill making the call to the authorities 😂😂😂😂😂
I agree, it’s scary to say the least!
You got a new subscriber you are very good at what you do!
Rae Carruth didn’t make the scumbags all star team.😂
Excellent video/documentary…. Thank you!
How can you blame the raiders players actions on CTE if he was killing people for a while.
What? They didn't
Great job with this video!!
It was nicely put together!!
NEW SUB HERE!
They say Aaron Hernandez is still hanging around to this day.
That guy in that 1st 911 call at 2:30 sounded exactly like Hank Hill reporting a shooting lol
😂😂😂😂😂
if you seen the photos of the her and her friend, you would know OJ did it. It was brutal what he did to them, it was personal.
@mr blue• so your hate filled racist mind is smarter than 12 people who have said that he didn't. But luckily your jackass vote doesn't count. Too bad that it wasn't you and yours instead.
Allegedly she owed alot of money to drug dealers.
I would have voted OJ Simpson to be innocent also
@@eljay3390didn’t he say he would find Nicole’s killer? Guess he gave up looking. 🥴
@@eljay3390 l thought he was guilty at first but years later l believe he's without a doubt 💯% innocent.
The dark side of professional athletes Dosnt get talked about enough
Some of them athletes get spoiled and think they can do anything and get away with it... Delusional. To many hits in the head.
As long as our society worships them while it shits on teachers and other public servants, none of this will change. It's why I don't watch or support professional sports teams.
hopefully not too many more. stay in school!
That's why we have to appreciate guys like N'golo Kante or Sadio Mane more. They earn millions playing other types of football (or well, soccer), but they have their feet firmly on the ground.
It’s not too many hits to the head…it’s growing up thinking you’re a damn gangbanger that causes it smh
Concussions have incredibly deteriorating effects to the brain 🧠 Sad really
The Gronk/Hernandez TE tandem was just freakin scary. In the red zone especially they were both uncoverable. I’m not happy about what happened to Hernandez, but I’m kind of glad the Pats didn’t have him for a decade.
Hernandez was lining up a RB too that season I think. Didn’t he get a bunch of carries? Might have been the year before I can’t remember…
@@yankees29 yea I heard Hernandez was lining up a RB that year, but his gun jammed and the guy got away. 😀😃😂
I have a friend that started boxing in middle school that kid was good he won multiple amateur belts by the time we were in high school and wouldn't even drink at parties well after highschool i seen him a few times last time I seen him we were in our early 20s he was telling me how excited he was because he didn't know if he wanted to go pro or try out for the following Olympics a few years ago he was arrest for multiple charges Manny if you come across this comment get a hold of me you know were to find me i think him fighting so young and much really messed up his brain I jus hope he gets out and gets his life around
Ik I’m late to this but Aaron Hernandez went to my high school I really didn’t know him but I didn’t expect him to do what he did
How come the third set of DNA found at the Brown/Goldman murder scene was not examined and tested?
Man I was such a huge fan of Aaron Hernandez before he got into such legal trouble. It’s a shame he couldn’t get away from his troubled past.
His autopsy showed he had the brain of a 75-year-old man, thanks to football-induced CTE. That's something no one can outrun.
Hey, "if the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit". Great words from an astounding American attorney. OJ's Bronco recently sold at auction for MILLIPNS of dollars.
his lawyers should be politicians, bunch of lying, scummy POS that let a murderer walk free cause his race
He the Lion King

Thanks for your support! It means a lot.
I'm curious why the first two out of three has never had "hate" crime added to it. As for Woodfield, he never played in the NFL
Aaron hernandez was one of my favorite TE I was shocked when I first heard about it
22 years for four murders what the heck ?
There's another documentary on CTE that shows an 18 year old highschool football player had CTE. How many more kids and want to be NFL players are following in these men's footsteps? 😢
pretty sure bill romo.......is a serial killer who never got caught lol
Spelled “Gainesville” btw.
Well done from a new subscriber 👍
Do one on Ray Caruth next time
after the Concussion movie my eyes were opened and I’m no longer a fan of football. CTE is terrible.
Damn Adams situation sounds like those concussions really did some damage. I’m not saying it’s an out or that it means anything he did was excusable but still seems like life’s hardships and injuries created a perfect storm for that situation.
Jim Brown was once asked what it takes to be a great football player. His answer...."rage."
So sad for certain athletes fuckin' up their lives. Smh.
Having profound brain damage is something very different than being "evil", although sometimes the results appear much the same.
Jason Simpson did it. He was working that night as a chef. Had chef knives. That's why they never found the murder weapon. But the police just went after OJ.
Yep
Glen Rogers*
Would have liked to hear a bit more of the life and crimes of the I-5 killer
Ann Rule wrote a book about him called the I-5 Killer
There should be plenty of material on the subject on the internet
@@silkyhankabout to read that one.
Evil goes beyond violence and murder. If you want evil, you’d have to include Ritchie Incognito and Bill Romanowski.
Evil? Bullies and Jackasses maybe, but evil is strong.
Lol this bozo really compared murderers to insecure bullies 😂😂😂😂😂😂
These are interesting. i learned a lot.
How did the Robert Blake acquittal make you feel? Was that another huge disappointment from a law enforcement standpoint?
@@automatic_systematic good question
@@qp_2528 not really. There was so much evidence against OJ. Even DNA evidence. His blood was found on the murder scene! As far as Blake goes there was very little solid evidence to support the Prosecution’s case. I don’t see any parallels with the two cases.
Lol you don't plant evidence or have your racism taped and you should be good buddy
