Great question! A course is usually an organized set of instructions that is more efficient than a book or free content. The community is also where you meet like minded people who are going through similar struggles and share what is working for them. It's a fun place to hang out.
If you are happy with your productivity level and not interested in meeting new people who have a desire to be more useful/productive, then purchasing the course would be a mistake. The free content should do!
