    ive been declining in my studies over 2 years and I'm coming out of an intense depressive period, just no motivation, dopamine rush or joy in anything, where I just cut myself off from everything. got referred to screening done for exam adjustments and I've been flagged for adhd, and Ive always been told I'm abnormal or difficult since childhood. the self hatred talk examples is exactly how i've been addressing myself. thank you for the video!

    I just discovered your channel. I too have been frustrated and annoyed by the endless productivity videos on RUclips that give you MORE work and LESS clarity in your efforts to become more productive and effective. The result? You fail and beat yourself up about it. You hit all the nails on the head in this video and your other videos. A lot of this stuff are things I have figured out for myself over years of painstaking trial and error, but you have done a beautiful job of organizing it all into actionable frameworks. Great work. Keep it up. You're changing lives for the better.

    self talk for starting :
    1- annihilate Overwhelm, initiate the small steps of the task.
    2- choice & Ownership, reframe the default selftalk to induce a high level purpose for this task.
    3- Why? (Selling yourself), motivate over short oitputs and results of this task.
    4- Self-love, maintain problem solving attitude instead of blame/shame. High self esteem.
    Execution : reminders … TBC

    Awesome video man, I have a question about judging the quality of your work, as a designer it's easy be judgemental to my work and feel dissatisfied, even with iterating and chunking the tasks. Is that also a thing self-talk can fix or is there more to it?

    • @alialqaraghuli
      @alialqaraghuli  2 месяца назад +1

      For sure self-talk, remember that harsh self criticism does nothing but discourage you -- you can criticize the work itself and say it needs to get better, which it does with iteration, but as long as you don't criticize yourself for not doing a "good job"

  • @2Fast4Youtube
    @2Fast4Youtube 2 месяца назад +2

    I have a question, is the beating yourself up part, really part of execution solely?
    I feel like it's something that doesn't even let me get to clarification, so shouldn't self talk be also part of subtracting?
    And do you have any stories of your own on how you did to overcome this?
    Awesome content btw thank you very much

    • @alialqaraghuli
      @alialqaraghuli  2 месяца назад +2

I got caught 2 years behind in school but finally made up my mind, i put in a lot of effort and was able to graduate at the same time as my peers. During the summer of my high-school graduation(2023) i stumbled upon your channel and since you have really helped me to push through everything.
