    My key takeaways are:
    * Your ideas need not change the world to be good!
    *
Top things I would work on if I was in my 20's: ethical AI, something in the domain of genetics, having a high bandwidth interface with the brain
    *
Estimating if you would be useful: ("utility delta of the product you're building or the difference a product makes in someone's life" x "how many people it would effect")
    *
It's ok to feel fearful of the probability of something working or not and but acceptance of it diminishes it to some degree!
    *
Merging neural link and the digital extension of ourselves along with the democratization of AI would be the best way to go!

I think Elon makes so much pauses mainly due to two things:
1.- He struggles to find the right words to explain such complicated topics in a way the average person can understand.

05:16 very Peter Thiel spectrum comment, and although he's talking about aerospace at 06:45 it sounds exactly like the car industry and energy: just making things slightly better each year, sometimes worse with no real ambition for improvement. He seems to target business areas where the potential accelerative improvements have been spoken of and modeled for years but that dominant companies have such vested interest in stultifying advance that the entire industry doesn't really compete to improve but just makes nominal changes to lend the appearance of something being new enough to be the next year model. Exploiting industries where the major market players implicitly conspire to stifle advance so they don't lose control of market share. I think the phone and internet broadcast industries need Elon's attention.

Elon is such a genius, he is so right about everything he does. We don't need labour unions or safety standards, they just slow down the process. Plus a real genius shouldn't ever sound like he actually knows what he is talking about and Elon masters this. It's a joy to my ears. Gives me hope that if I ever inherit money off the backs of slave labour in South African that I too, a fairly intelligent guy, can make people believe that with a mere business degree that I actually make rockets along with with some of the best engineers in the world. Inspiring...

Thanks to the epic gentlemen reminding us of the need for ethical AI. In the context of the time lapsed since and current events, very keen to learn how you plan on protecting humanity from a villain to take over, and how you would seek the support of mere citizens in the context of exposure as is🙏

How does one really compute the "utility delta" Elon is talking about at 5:13, Is it just the entrepreneur's perception of his product or is it based on the consumer's response about your product?

Regarding "Utility delta compared to the current state of the art x how many people it would affect"
Utility delta = the product's usefulness for 1 person
Current state of the art = current alternative products
People it would affect = people who could benefit from the product
Tesla provided a cheaper way to ride a car, the net profit gained could be multiplied by the number of people who could use such a car (above 21 with a car certificate, countries with income leves above a certain level).
It's a tough calculation, I'm not an economist, so it might be explained in simpler terms :)
