The only things that really bug me is with the m5 brat, it only holds 12 rounds, but realistically it would at least hold 20 rounds. And why is the muzzle flash so big on the m2, it looks like it's shooting a 9mm bullet not a goddamn .50 bmg
@@BigRedRocket well heres the thing realism and believability are two similar but distinctly different things sometimes realism needs to take a back seat to the needs of the game and the balancing within it where often times because of the nature of the weapon or game the numbers have to be fudged like take space marine 2 theres no way a bolt rifle's magazine could hold 25 rounds but because of the type of weapon it is in game your able to put that aside the realism and just give into the belief of it being an assault rifle inspire of its mag size
Just from the weapons, it looks like this game draws inspiration from several games, yet doesn't seem to be pretending to be any single one of them. The guns have some degree of identity.
4:03 this gun looks like ukranian "Vepr" bullpup convertion of AK-74. Because front sight from AK, gas tube from AK. Bolt on the left side like on "vepr". Do not confuse with 12-gauge «Vepr'» shotgun.
“Shiv” is not P99 or CPP, it’s a hybrid between Glock and Ruger 22 “Whipser” is a MP5K old model like the one in BO “Trident” is much more similar to the VEPR than the Enfield “Crusader” is a hybrid between P90 and Steyr AUG “Tempest” is based on a heavily customized M14/EBR
I agree with you on most of these tbh. You could argue the Crusader has the trigger guard of an F90, but the rest is 95% AUG and P90. Whisper is 1000% an Mp5K. It even has the HK slap which you don't need on a Spectre. A Spectre is also larger than an MP5K. Trident is definitely a Vepr or the same heritage, as that front sight post, gas block and muzzle brake as 100% all AK. The only thing it has from an Enfield/SA80 is the green stock etc... Where I tend to disagree is the Tempest. I think it has parts of the SL8 and the M14. In function and calibre wise its way more an M14 than a Sl8 beyond looks though. But there is some Sl8 in its DNA.
While I can see the Crusader's parts pulling from the P90 and AUG, I couldn't help but the gun resembles more like the Kalash 2012 from Metro more than anything.
i love how for these guns they're stylized and fantastical but the still feel like they COULD exist like some of the made up guns in a great deal of late 80s and early to mid 90s sci fi and cyberpunk anime like bubblegum crisis or gal force or any number of shows
Looks like someone took design inspiration from Halo Infinity for some of these guns. Namely the pistol, the bullpup rifle, and that kriss vector rifle.
The crusader is what FN should be making with their proprietary magazine tech. Make an upside down piston driven AR action inside with bottom ejection. 5.56x45 Also, the Blackout is literally “don’t copy the homework” of the Masamune from Cyberpunk
Is it? It's somewhat similar in shape, but it looks much more like the Vector than it does the Masamune. I'd say it a bit closer to the R-X01 series from Titanfall/Apex, but even so the magwell is more Vector-like than either of these fictional guns.
i'd say blackout is pretty distinct enough from masamune, though it leans more to the commando rifle from halo infinite. lean forward magazines (or "vector-likes") seem to be picking up more steam now also yeah the crusader's pretty cool, the other time i saw a game with an assault rifle that has that mag design was metro (although the full model is pretty bad)
Gunplay are more similar to call of duty with the mobility aiming down sight rather than the traditional counter strike/valorant of hipfiring in a stop, aim and shoot style of aiming.
