I came here because our dental hygienist told my wife this morning that you were doing work on her land, and she gave her the name of your RUclips channel. Have enjoyed watching your work. Fascinating and enjoyable to watch someone who is so good at their job.
Love the dismounted camera shots of the D6 clearing. It gives an excellent point of view on how that monster can get the job done. I think it deserves a new paint job for the hard work it has done.
Your channel has long been my favorite. It reminds me of when I worked for my grandpa back in the 70’s. I stop what I’m watching and go straight to watch your new videos when I get the notification. I don’t really like seeing trees taken out but I sure do enjoy watching you destroy them.
Another great video ! Why do I like to see Chris work all the time , he either digs up trees and dirt with the excavator , pushes trees over and pushes dirt with the dozer , and hauls both with the truck , seems to do this over and over and wow I'm addicted , love it . Cant wait for the next video !!!
I don't know why you decided to buy that D6, Chris; but I am so glad that you did. She makes marvellous music, and the footage from 'inside' is brilliant
Chris bring your dump truck was a smart ideal 👌 👍 it help alot with hauling brush and getting the red clay you like using 😀 👍 nice job on the second Calvert. That dozer really does a great job. I enjoy hearing that big dozer sing when clearing that trees and brush
The dad of a good friend of mine had a stump in one of his fields that he couldn't dig up. This was back years ago. He used a couple sticks of dynamite and blew that sucker fifty foot in the air. Dirt flew a good hundred yards and fell like rain for couple of minutes. That was the loudest boom I've ever heard in person.
And that folks is why farmers usually talk about quarter sticks for stumps! Just enough to knock it loose, but not to cause a dirt shower. Not nearly as much fun but much more efficient. Besides it does not rattle the neighbor's glass as much.
@@markpashia7067 true but it was an awesome sight watching the stump fly. It indeed shook the ground and rattled the windows on the trucks. It was a fun day.
Digging that stump is where you might say. I wish I had the 290 for 5 minutes with a small bucket. Sometimes you win with one punch, sometimes you earn it. I think you earned the victory on that stump.
Thank You again Chris. Good video, love watching that D6 work. Sweet sound of the engine is great. You're making good progress on this project. The Finale' of your video's now with the drone shot seals the deal. Hard to picture what is going on through all the trees, but from the air, it puts everything into perspective. Great job my friend.
I just bought a nice 1973 international truck from South Carolina. I never seen so many red clay mud dobbers on underneath side of a vehicle in my life. Now I can see there is plenty of it down that way...
Those times when nothing seems to get done (productivity killer) - and yet on looking back lots was achieved. Looks great - love the dozer work - it's a work horse.
Twenty minutes for a five stem poplar is four minutes a tree. Really impressed with the dozer clearing trees. Brings four minutes way down to seconds on the smaller stuff, Great efficiency. The long shots give a good feel of the power in that machine. Thank you sir.
Hi Chris, you got it looking good sir! That Cat D6 never ceases to amaze me in what it can do! There is something to be said about running old iron….they are pretty near bullet proof. You might consider adding bars to the top of your root rake to keep the brush from pushing over the top of the blade…just a thought! Thanks!
Hauling Brush to the Burn Piles ! Installing the 2nd Culvert Pipe ! Clearing more Trees - the Dozer is Magic indeed ! Great Progress ! Nice Drone Fly Over ! Great long Video and many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
It's amazing how much one man can achieve in such a short space of time. Ever heard of Florence and the machine? Well now there is Chris and the machines. Love from the UK
Just a little Funfact: My rather annoying OCD was intrigued to see @06:01 what we call a Tachograph in the middle of the dash. I never knew they were exported to the USA. It looks like a speedo and is probably in Km / hour but I doubt it gets noticed. The two knobs each side of the mileage readout are for the driver to select 'mode' (driving, rest or whatever) and there is a small keyhole at the top which allows the whole front to tip down to change a thick paper disc that records all the truck movements and times. I was a certified technician to install and calibrate them. When we first had to use them in trucks and artics (semis) over 7.5 Tons many decades ago we called them a 'Spy in the cab' but over time we realised they actually worked for the driver not against him / her. They could be used as a defence against a Police stop for speeding but the Police couldn't use them against us other than for driving hours. And the dispatcher couldn't push us into illegal driving. About 10 years ago it all went electronic and now its a black box and we use smart cards. Progress!
After a long day on one of my excavators trying to clear a mudslide with a rock face to my left and a drop off to my right working my way up the slide to clear the trees off of it so I could start dumping the dirt and mud over the edge of the cliff with lots of little jolts of adrenaline as my excavator would slip and tip I find myself sitting at my desk watching Chris work his equipment to relax. When I got my excavator back down the slide by burying the blade and using the bucket as an outrigger in front of me as I slid down I looked at my hands and realized they were ever so slightly shaking. The forces we are playing with are no joke, all the best you crazy operators out there, if you can’t be entirely safe at least be careful.
If want to move material quickly and efficiently, you fire up the 6, point, drop the blade, putter in gear, opener up and Bobs your uncle, you’re done. Love that 6, I do. That stump was a monster that met its match. Nice job all the way thru the video, thanks for the ride along sir.
Hey Chris, I just watched the video of you having your childhood oak tree moved 4 years ago. Any way we can get an update on how it's doing? I'm curious on if its bigger and thriving now that it has the sun light that it needs.
Added my like to a great job there, Chris. Been watching your videos for over 4 years, and I think that was the largest and orneriest stump I seen you extract. That sucker was huge.
Just love the sound of that old dozer, never misses a beat and if it did, don't think I would care. I love seeing old machines doing what they should be doing.
You are so patient, luv ur videos. So enjoyable!!! God so blessed u with the gift of running all equipment with such ease!!! Could watch u for hours. Thank u so much for blessing us. Be careful!!!
Nice piece of property, you accomplished a lot on this day.horses should be happy tucked back in there surrounded by the trees. Great video, keep on doing your thing 😎😎😎👍👍👍
I have a suggestion on the burn piles. First, dig your hole and put all the burn in it. When it comes time to use the dirt for other things you have it already in a pile and you can use what you don't need over the burn piles. Very interesting video keep on driving!
Chris it is simply amazing of what you can do while you are in control off an excavator, you are without a doubt a premiere operator you should open a training school, just fuel for thought...
Chris it's amazing how much work you accomplish in a day. Not only are you dang good at your job, you have a good time. I told my brother that you are the "Bill Engvall" of construction.😂😂. Thanks for the good entertainment. 👍😎
After watching you for all these years this is a First. You taken trees down with a dozer. This is exactly what I do first and the that are to big then I get on my excavator and Throw them down and clean up and start burning asap
That D6 is certainly starting to give some payback.......that's going to be some fire, hope you have some very large marshmellows! FYI I had a reply from GouldBrothers saying I had won a prize!
I came here because our dental hygienist told my wife this morning that you were doing work on her land, and she gave her the name of your RUclips channel. Have enjoyed watching your work. Fascinating and enjoyable to watch someone who is so good at their job.
Be careful next week. With all that rain coming. Those ponds John and you built. Plus beely pond should be full.
Love the dismounted camera shots of the D6 clearing. It gives an excellent point of view on how that monster can get the job done. I think it deserves a new paint job for the hard work it has done.
I don't mind telling you; the A25C looks sharp! That ole girl has been restored to her original beauty, plus. Take care, Chris.
I love these shots from a distance showing the dozer pushing over those trees. Thank you

That D6 amazed me everytime I watch it work. She is one heck of a pusher.
Thank you Chris for giving hope that all contractors are as good natured as you are.
Another great video ! But it was fun to see. :)
You can see Chris using the bucket and thumb to place it ,and light it ,the Boom Boom stuff that is 😊
And that folks is why farmers usually talk about quarter sticks for stumps! Just enough to knock it loose, but not to cause a dirt shower. Not nearly as much fun but much more efficient. Besides it does not rattle the neighbor's glass as much.

I don't know that I've ever rooted for a hurricane to show up, but between these burn piles and the 5 acre pond...
That was my thoughts when he mentioned Hurricane
I feel the same. More like a, please don't destroy homes or businesses. . . But make it wet enough to burn and fill all these ponds and "lakes"
Thank You again Chris. Good video, love watching that D6 work. Sweet sound of the engine is great. You're making good progress on this project. The drone footage is great! Thanks for the update on Betty.

Did anyone notice the frog at 44:36 love how you laughed when you said it’s a little bit hard to grade w😅the rake on the dozer lol 😂
Glad to see the big dozer in action today. Even got to build a road base. We can see you grinning sitting on that machine!!

Looking great there Chris.
Twenty minutes for a five stem poplar is four minutes a tree.
Really impressed with the dozer clearing trees. Brings four minutes way down to seconds on the smaller stuff, Great efficiency.

Thank you sir.
Watching you're you tube catch up from 5 years back Chris very skilled
Brilliant music quality through head phones, well done!!
My dad blew stumps on weekends. People said you could set your clock on Sunday at noon sharp. After church let out. First boom.
Hi Chris, you got it looking good sir! That Cat D6 never ceases to amaze me in what it can do! There is something to be said about running old iron….they are pretty near bullet proof. Looks like a Phyllis Diller hair do traveling
Love the work you do Chris and you do it very well man .
Saw the frog in the right bottom corner at 45:12. Running away!
Nice to see they are going to leave some trees.
That stump was determined to challenge you but lost! Thank you and have a great day.
Nothing like a longer Sunday video
Nobody moves those machines like you do keep up the good work
Hauling Brush to the Burn Piles ! Installing the 2nd Culvert Pipe ! Clearing more Trees - the Dozer is Magic indeed ! Great Progress ! Nice Drone Fly Over ! Great long Video and many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!

Anybody else notice the big frog that comes hopping through at 44:35? No? Just me 😂😂
Hopped off at about 45.
Wow Chris, I’m only four minutes into the video but that poplar stump is the largest I’ve ever seen. What a monster!
Looks like with the right size trees and the right kind of soil that D6 is a lot faster than the excavator good job
45:15 And that's why it's good to have a roof on your dozer
Carolina Blue Skies!!!

Chris it is simply amazing of what you can do while you are in control off an excavator, you are without a doubt a premiere operator you should open a training school, just fuel for thought...
You are creative, God bless you
You make it look far too easy, except the one stump haha. Saw a frog!
At around 44 to 45 minutes.
Coming along nicely. 👍👍

That second culvert was a very neat installation if I do say.
Chris it's amazing how much work you accomplish in a day. Not only are you dang good at your job, you have a good time. I told my brother that you are the "Bill Engvall" of construction.😂😂. Thanks for the good entertainment. 👍😎

The job sight is coming along nice.
Great work once again Chris 👍🏻
Oh dozers getting the job done👍👍👍👍👍👍

The shots of the dozer against those tall trees reminds me of the little engine that could.
After watching you for all these years this is a First. You taken trees down with a dozer. This is exactly what I do first and the that are to big then I get on my excavator and Throw them down and clean up and start burning asap
That old D6 is a gal that loves to push makes a tiring job fun
That D6 is certainly starting to give some payback.......that's going to be some fire, hope you have some very large marshmellows!
FYI I had a reply from GouldBrothers saying I had won a prize!
Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina in the cab of a ballsy ole D6 Cat
