My wife wanted to bring me to the hospital because I was having withdrawals sitting in the chair with my hand controls moving all that brush and digging pits crying for letsdig18 lol 😆
I know burn piles are always a problem for you but I, and a lot of others, really appreciate the fact that you always let safety be the first concern when burning.
Chris, you are definitely a one man crew. Accomplished so many tasks all alone, it is mesmerizing to watch you work. I just smile the whole time I watch your videos sir. Great job.
Man and his machines clearing and burning trees and brush - transformation of one landscape and product into another. Project coming along fine - drone shot great.
Your an inspiration to us all Chris. Enjoy watching you doing what you do best my friend. I'm disabled and by watching your videos makes my day so much better. Tx again.
Made my husband laugh today while watching you push trees into a pile. He tried to say something to me, I said I'm sorry I can't hear you I'm driving my loud bull dozer. LOL
Sure do like the 6, I do. Just the perfect dozer for what you doing, bet its fun to operate, I know I wouldn’t be disappointed if I had it. Thanks for the ride along sir.
Chris I've been watching you for about a year. You've cost me alot of money. I bought a Cat D4 used. A new takeuchie TB 290 with several attachments. I've been doing land clearing on the side. Like you I'm doing something 7 days a week. I have a truck repair business during the week with 12 employees. The land clearing relaxes me. Nature, quiet except for machines running. Thanks for the inspiration and your teachings.
Continue with the Burn Piles ! And Yes - there is an Art of Managing Burn Piles ! No Problems at all taking more of the Brush and Trees down ! Great Progress again - we love watching You work - its Brilliant ! You can see the Progress with the Drone! Many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
Looking real nice leaving a tree here and there. Wish we had so much space here. With pushing all that brush, you do yourself a favour by welding a big bar on top of the lugs from the rake rack. Logs can slide of to the side instead of keep on hanging on the inside. You had to do some turning and reversing to get them of. It also helps when pushing brush from coming over the blade into your radiator. Nice winter project.
Evening, Chris, all. I may have missed this along the way, Chris, what's the clearing for, farming or residential? Missed ya the last couple of days. Peace, take care.
Thanks for posting Chris, I love watching your excavator work because there weren't any excavators back in the day. The closest thing on the island was a john Deere articulating tree farmer pulling an arch.
The drone footage shows just how much you've done. Looks wonderful now, can't wait to see the final result. Glad you got a bit of assistance with the 220 while you dozed. I've never heard your name for your 220, I hope it's Fred since he was an excavator operator! Thanks for sharing, Chris.
Thank you for your daily content, as I am recovering from a lone Hspitle stay from covid,i really enjoy your shows, they keeps me occupied as i recover, Thanks, Michael
Love seeing your bucket so shiny. You've been getting after it! My little KX57 is equally shiny. I have done some projects too. I need to post some videos.
Awesome freaking work Chris, that d6 has no quit in pushing, it will get with the program, that was a great investment, that site is just about cleared, looks good, north Carolina has some of the prettiest red damn clay there is, thanks for sharing bud and I look forward to seeing the next video 💪🇺🇲🇺🇲💪🌲
We had a hold over fire from a pile that was burnt below an old logging road. When the road was made they pushed the brush over then evidently built the road on top….anyway the fire occurred 8mos after the pile was burnt and went through an entire winter (6-10’ snow) and a wet spring….the smoke was spotted in august when the material burning under the road reached the remains of the original pile….so this stuff can burn a long long time with dirt covering it.
Chris first of all it's nice seeing you on Facebook I sent you a message on Facebook messenger and also I'm shocked that one of the viewers hasn't come over to a work site and litter the site w balloons for a prank lol hopefully you can get it done and onto another site
I’m glad to see you’re making more use of the dozer for clearing. You should think of adding a riser to the blade to keep trees from coming over the top and hitting the lift cylinders
Yeah, You can really see it coming together now Chris... You did get rid of quite a bit of those trees with the burning ,you did get done !! Looking really good Man !! I guess down that line is what you have left to clear ?? Should be able to get that knocked on out, pretty quick !! Just being able to get back to burning huh !! Same here in Western Ky. Man, We haven't had any rain in a few weeks here, don't think they are calling for much of any in near future either.... Guess same on your end too !! Well, you'll get it !! May have to come back down the road a little bit when ya do get a good soaker or 2 !! lolol.... Great as always Man !! Have a Great Evening, And a Great New Week !! And, On too the Next.....
We always enjoy watching Chris make a fire. Wilma dozer is still pushing good - oil leak must not have been really serious. @ 30:34 - good to see you have some help running the V220 for you while you push. Starting to see leaf color change from the first cool temps you have had. Keep up the good job - you are almost finished with this one!
I got thinking about you the other day, I think I was out walking and noticed there on the side of the road a balloon. Sure you haven't been near east central Alabama lately? LOL! Man that's some nice clean red clay you was digging up. Maybe in a couple of years the owners of the property will have you come back and build them a pond.
I wonder what the soil composition will be in 25 years for the burn pit. I bet it will be near black gold. 🤔 Thank you and have a safe and wonderful day.
Look forward to seeing all the new videos you post very calming and really interesting what you do, did you find a balloon this time? Doing ponds is my favorite videos to watch! Keep up the good work!
Would be handy if you had an attachment that protruded above the blade so that brush wouldn't get caught behind it. I run into the same issue while pushing brush piles with my skid steer root rake combo
It’s a good thing the d6 doesn’t have an enclosed cab. But if it did I guess it wouldn’t be in the thick brush either. It’s hilarious watching it plow threw the woods.
What, you don't want a conflagration? We call it a marshmallow roast or making smores. Made fires s a Scoutmaster and training staff member {Assist District Commissioner, Gulf Coast Council, BSA] for well over 23 years. One of many hats I wore, including PD, FD, NCID, and MI. On top of that Chaplin.
Chris I wish you could at least have some one out there with you while clearing. It's just so dangerous, I've been pinned In the seat before and couldn't reach the throttle and had to stall it with the brakes. Be careful
953.. probably not, it’s better to push it along the dirt so it mixes in and keep the dust down more. Packing ashes in a bucket would make a huge mess and be awful to breath.
Two whole days without a letsdig18 video, the agony the despair. Nice I see the burn of burning wood.
I feel the same way, went back over a couple of years trying to fill the time waiting. LOL
....and hear it popping and cracking👍
My wife wanted to bring me to the hospital because I was having withdrawals sitting in the chair with my hand controls moving all that brush and digging pits crying for letsdig18 lol 😆
Chris needs a rest, he's only human and he works everyday, of course I miss him too🤓
I know right lol
I know burn piles are always a problem for you but I, and a lot of others, really appreciate the fact that you always let safety be the first concern when burning.
Chris, you are definitely a one man crew. Accomplished so many tasks all alone, it is mesmerizing to watch you work. I just smile the whole time I watch your videos sir. Great job.
Great work Chris hope you’re feeling better thanks for posting
The ending drone shots are great. They really show how much you've done. I look forward to the final "slicking up" scenes. :)
Man and his machines clearing and burning trees and brush - transformation of one landscape and product into another. Project coming along fine - drone shot great.
Very good camera positions for very good videos. Thanks for taking the time for us, much appreciated.
This is more satisfying to watch than stump clearing.
starting to look good Chris. add always, looking forward to seeing it finished. with houses, barns, and horses.
Thanks for sharing your time with us
Your an inspiration to us all Chris. Enjoy watching you doing what you do best my friend. I'm disabled and by watching your videos makes my day so much better. Tx again.
Looking really great. You do amazing work. Thanks very much for sharing.

You just get all GRABBY with that excavator! 😱🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇸

Two house lots and horse pasture
@@letsdig18 Nice!😊
Great job buddy and great video as always buddy 😎👊🏻👍🏻 love your hoodie too 😎
Thanks for posting Chris, I love watching your excavator work because there weren't any excavators back in the day. The closest thing on the island was a john Deere articulating tree farmer pulling an arch.
Looking awesome Chris.
Since you brought up the balloons I realized I'm not alone. I find several a year on my place. Crazy.
Always working with the elements, the weather and having a good dollop of patience. And it clears up nicely.
The drone footage shows just how much you've done. Looks wonderful now, can't wait to see the final result. Glad you got a bit of assistance with the 220 while you dozed. I've never heard your name for your 220, I hope it's Fred since he was an excavator operator! Thanks for sharing, Chris.
Dug a burn pit, did I miss a video?? May need to go back and check the list!! Enjoyed this burn video though.
Thank you for your daily content, as I am recovering from a lone Hspitle stay from covid,i really enjoy your shows, they keeps me occupied as i recover, Thanks, Michael
Good to see the burning is going well and clearing as well must be getting cool out hooded sweatshirt and all great video thanks Chris
Chris your work is awesome and it amazes me and relaxes me when im eatng any of my meals Bless You
"Good... dry... red... clay." The man said.......POND TIME BABY‼️😉🤣
Looking really nice now Chris 👍👍😎
It’s hard to imagine just how many thousands of yards of soil you’ve moved in the last twenty years or so !
I'd suspect it would be close to 9 figures
You don't look a day over 29.
Well done Chris its coming on
Love seeing your bucket so shiny. You've been getting after it! My little KX57 is equally shiny. I have done some projects too. I need to post some videos.

Goodness that dozer was putting in some work. Great video. Enjoyed watching 😎 ✌️
This channel ROCKS!!
Great video 👍 👍
Looking so good. Really enjoy drone shots.
Darn buffering made me number 4.
Which is actually my lucky number.
Chris you're definitely a legend in the excavating world!
That's a pretty large piece of property cleared and 2+ acres left? Plenty of room to have nice little yard!
Glad to see your taking some time out, as you know I love that dozer and with that rake it's an awesome beast.

Great Job Chris and just like you found 2 balloons i was thinking in 10 Years it will be Drones that will be found when clearing the woods :).
Looking really good Chris 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I watch you in the 220 and all I can think of is T-Rex 🦖 out there tearing up the woods
220= V-Rex
Burning stuff for a living: every little boys' dream 😄
Great job as normal Chris that will be a great site for a home out in the woods so private away from everyone great video as normal cheers
....lookin' good, nice fire...lol..keep safe..

Before the rain it was : Push, pile. Now post rain, it's: Pluck, push, pile, Pyro.
Nicely done.
I thought it was to wet to clear with the dozer I figured you wouldn't be able to stay off it lol awesome video
Ya trucking along well with this project bro, the drone sure shows the bigger picture of your efforts so far. Safe travels
Another excellent show!
looked like the v-rex was on autopilot digging trees while you was pushing brush up.
Ty for finding my anniversary balloons. It's my 3rd anniversary of my 39 Bday
Yeah, You can really see it coming together now Chris... You did get rid of quite a bit of those trees with the burning ,you did get done !! Looking really good Man !! I noticed that also and Chris didn't mention it.
That D6 has been a game changer these past couple jobs,it's a work horse
Hello there Chris 🚧🔥🚧. I know you have very good foresight when it comes to work.
The question is whether you include vacation in your planning.
SALUDOS CHRIS, ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS AND ANOTHER JOB WELL DONE. G.B.Y.,
Enjoy your videos

I dont know what it is but watching the dozer push dirt into the hole was sooooo relaxing! And the root rack on it is no joke😄
You sound a bit better mate, hope you are on the mend. Bit more clearing, more burning, then you’re done. Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰
How you liking the new seat ?I bet the old one. Was wearing you out with it falling apart.
I said before the dozer was bad a**, you're a bad a** operator too!!👍🤩😉
Look forward to seeing all the new videos you post very calming and really interesting what you do, did you find a balloon this time? Doing ponds is my favorite videos to watch! Keep up the good work!

You do work hard Chris.Have a holiday soon for a day or two lol 👍🏻
Chris saves the best parts for last, so it pays to watch the whole video. ;)
Nice burning And clearing
Chris isn't letting any dew rust start on that D-6 blade any time soon. 😉😁
He dug the burn pit while he was doing the driveway
Maybe you can put the rake upside down, when pushing big piles?
then it would prevent the trees from going over the blade.
I sit and have my breakfast and watch Chris I missed that
What, you don't want a conflagration? We call it a marshmallow roast or making smores. LetsWork18!👍
Finally a balloon!!!
NICE WORK BEST ON RUclips
start to get cooler the leaves will be going make it good
Chris I wish you could at least have some one out there with you while clearing. It's just so dangerous, I've been pinned In the seat before and couldn't reach the throttle and had to stall it with the brakes. Be careful
I see smily face during the drone shot :)
Got a question for you Chris, would you ever buy another machine if it didn’t have a progressive link thumb?
D6 pushin’ those forest-loaves. How many dump truck loads in a forest loaf?
Looks to me like it would pay to have a 1000-1500 gal tanker with a pump and make your own rain.Maybe not, just a thought.
What kind of GoPro or Kamera do you use for your Video's?
When you go to move all the ashes, would it be easier to bring the 954 to move them?
953.. probably not, it’s better to push it along the dirt so it mixes in and keep the dust down more. Packing ashes in a bucket would make a huge mess and be awful to breath.
Nice - total burn ban in this county. To bad - two stacks sit in my yard growing weeds. Guess I'll have to keep smashing them down to wither away.
Carolina clay. Got to be hard to get a perk test. Brush guard for the blade would push like a 9.
I never knew excavators were herbivores until watching the 220 chomping up trees today. Pretty messy eater though.
Looking good
