Hauling the Brush to the Burn Pile - Drive Way Pipe Installation - well done ! Young Fellow doing a great Job with the Truck ! The Dozer is an awesome Work Horse - really Powerful ! Such Great Progress ! We love the Video and many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
Awesome video. The pink fire extinguisher on the D6 is a great touch and playing catch is a new one on me sir. Fifteen years in construction and never had that much fun on the site.
Well, sir! You filled up that truck with more brush than I thought it would take…….. I still lost the bet with myself, you always get more on and in than I can imagine. Great video, entertaining and informative. Thank you for all your hard work.
Have you ever considered chipping the waste to sell to horse farms? It's faster, cleaner and cost competitive. And you can recoup the chipper cost in a few years time.
Well, it ain't a pond build but its still enjoyable to watch Chris pushing scrub into piles and hauling some of it to a burn pile. That's gonna be a big one for sure.
Hey bud i know you have done so many jobs but please be careful on the cat and dont let a limb come in and get you buddy. Your a super smart guy and we dont want you to get hurt buddy. Have a great day.
I really enjoy watching Chris do what he does best but I have to remind myself (often) that he's a young equipment operator with amazing skills. I'm guessing that he's about 30 years old and already has a beautiful house and a large farm and some really nice equipment. He's got me beat seven ways to Sunday but, still I worry about his safety. When I was 20 and operating heavy equipment, I thought I was invincible and then one day I wasn't.
I just did a little clearing job up here it was same type of small trees and brush and vines tangled in everything, was a pain with the excavator grabbing all that little stuff, it actually wore a hole in my thumb from using the roller button so much, old Flappy looks like the way too go just mow it down and hope nothing spears you…great video…be careful!
The D6 is really paying off on this job. Clearing all that small stuff would take forever with the excavator, the D6 just pushes it over and away. I realize that the excavator still has to be used to get what the dozer misses, but that can be done while piling up brush. This lot was cleared right before the Great Recession of '08, when building came to a stop for a while.
Kinda looks like an old pasture that was let grow over. All those little saplings and small trees don’t seem like normal forest cover. Could have been logged but there’s no stumps anywhere.
In many ways your profession is a single, solo, experience. One must be attuned to the solemn rigors associated with such. You are well grounded for this endeavor.😊
Just FYI Andrew Camerata another RUclipsr has a small scooter that he uses when he needs to get back and forth for equipment this is something that may help you on those hot summer days. Great work you do evert time.
@@makingithappen5178 if the foot print of that tire is changed at all due to lower air pressure it will most definitely cause it to wear improperly. Depending on how low the pressure is at the bead can come loose. Slide or turn into a stump, hole, or a rock with a full load just the right way and pow 💥 there goes all the air pressure.
Oh yeah, Off road Truck is gonna be a big help there, make all that moving go a lot faster !! Getting a good dent in it now... Great as always man !! On too the Next !! Boy, Ain't that Nice how Ol' Big 6 will push a Hell of a pile !! lolol...
Wow I have seen you on many jobs using an excavator to take down a lot of different sizes in the trees that caterpillar at d6 that seems to be a dirt eating tree pushing machine thanks for sharing awesome video that's why I subscribe to your channel have a great day
That is INSANE! In your last video I was going to say, in all of the videos I've seen over the years, I've never seem the haul/offroad truck on a trailer. I assumed you couldn't drive it in the road, and the first thing I see in this video is it on a trailer.
Enjoy watching your videos they are very relaxing to me I did notice there's a lot of side chatter in your bucket time for more shims I enjoy the way you had fun playing pitch and catch with the pumpkins shows you have a little bit of fun while you're getting the job done and as someone else has said I'm sure be careful while using the cat some of those limbs can sneak right up on you and give you a good smack in the face or the back of the head
Watching you on that dozer brought a song to mind …. Aaron Tippin. Big boy toys ! Give it a listen if you don’t already know it ! Should be your ringtone on your phone ! Take care Chris
Chris, have you looked into "product placement?" You give so much FREE advertisement to VOLVO, it's amazing. We are your fans and want to see you GET PAID for the special skills posses. You make VOLVO look soooooo good.
Is that a blue balloon on the ground on the side of the new driveway? Yes, Barney haultruck will help moving brush and dirt. Happy 1st day of Fall Chris, was 67 F. this morning and 90 F. this afternoon in North Florida. That place is looking like a scrub thicket, no nice shade trees for 10-15 years. New help requires lots of patience. Push that brush pile Wilma!!
I think Volvo should host a pumpkin chucking contest to see who can use an excavator to throw farthest. That one started out as a pumpkin but ended up as a squash!
Gonna be some decent sized burn piles here & as much as I look forward to seeing Betty back on the job I thought that 983 made her look small & maybe with these big jobs chris may have a need for a big girl like that down the road .
I think it's time for some sort of cage round about the kitty cat don't want you getting impaled by one of those limbs that pop up and head towards you when put under pressure they can take off like an arrow 🏹 so you got to stay safe to keep on digging 👍 😀
I seem to remember a guy that was a great driver in one of them hawl trucks. The last time I saw him he was working on a 5 acre pond job. But I can't remember his name but I bet Chris does and he should give him a call. Tell me what you think about that Todd 😏 have a great night
Wondered if you had named the D6 yet. You have Betty and Barney and from the sound that hanging rake makes when you back up I'd like to suggest Bam Bam. Great vid. Love watching machinery.
It's amazing how much brush & tangled trees you can move. Love watching you work.
The haul truck looked good Rollin down the road with Mr Donnie
The D6 is a beast for clearing the thin stuff, your getting it down and moving it in the right direction for the burn all in 1 go.
Nothing sounds sweeter than the sound of an old Cat in full flight doing what they do best. Pushin' scrub or dirt.

Great pumpkin catching Chris ,thanks for the share😊👌
Well smashing that pumpkin made me spit my coffee all over. Too funny 😁
Now that's some fine punkin chunkin and ya stuck the landing with the bucket great vid

The old Cat sure looks like it works great 👋👍🇨🇦
The Lil baby pusher got another workout....makes it look easy....
Buildwitt goes to all these HUGE operations , and to see letsdig18s one man show!! U the man Chris 👍👌🤘🤘🤘🤘
❤ the 6, sweetest piece of equipment you have as far as I am concerned, with possibly the 953 running a close 2nd. Thanks for the ride along sir.
Loving the Pumpkin action there Chris. Be well. 😉
Great to see Aaron Witt make an appearance. Aaron's channel, BuildWitt, takes you behind the scenes of large construction projects around the world.
BuildTwit's channel is a joke.
I didn't know that guy from Adam's housecat. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
I watch your work from the UK your professional and a great machine operator keep up the good work and Videos Kind regards Martin Shaw

The Pumpkin catch & toss was cool, gave those guys something to talk about... heh Excellent way to waste time & have fun all at the same time.
I enjoy watching you and the dozer knocking down those tree. Great job Chris 👏 👍 great videos. That dozer clears ground in a hurry
Clearing job is coming along nicely sir , D6 sounds great when it’s pushing brush !! Be safe
I'm ready for a 🔥 fire show.
The "Beast" really is something at knocking down this forest. Looking really good there Chris. Thanks for sharing.
Need to get one of those E-bikes for in the back of the truck when you have to walk a mile or two.
Or just a knobby tired BMX , get them used for a few bucks!
700 ft isn't a mile or two
@@richardschipper5989 that's only the length of my building. Hardly enough to complain about walking back to the truck.
Aaron Witt Awesome to see him on the channel!

I agree, I decent size tree trunk was aiming for him last week on this job. One is all it takes
@@Highstranger951 Yes. Trees sometimes want to get all cozy in the operator's seat.
Yeah you can tell he's paying attention. Just look at the head movements when he's on the dozer. Although that my just be him jamming to his music 🤣
I took a pine branch to the chin while running a bobcat. Knocked me for a loop and needed a few stitches
That was only a little 2" branch too
On the move & getting it done as always, another great job/vid!👊💪
Everytime Aaron comes to the site, it's always a riot, haha, good time great video Chris, thanks for sharing 💪🇺🇲🌲

Foggy start to the day (nice pic), shank's pony got some extra workout today and some of those trees are 'in' the ground. Going good too.

That was hilarious when you flattened the pumpkin Chris 😂
I was expecting the Lorax to pop out of one of those downed trees.
Love the vids Chris!
The D6 is making short work of the small trees & brush. Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰

I don't know why but watching these videos are so fascinating to me and relaxing as well... I love watching the excavator move earth!
When you dump the brush if you back up the truck on the last 1/3 it would keep the pile tighter I believe.😊
Build Witt was just in my town! Also I’m looking forward to seeing how this job turns out
Good to see the Built Witt boys 👍🏽
This vlog really shows the advantage of clearing with the Cat 👊🏽😎
Hello there Chris 🚧🔥🚧. If you lower the air pressure in the front tires,
you get a smoother ride in your A25, without affecting the load capacity.
They also wear wrong and greaten the chance of rolling the bead off the wheel.

loved the punkin chunkin!

I have a new plan get a D9 and start at the back property line and kept clearing until you get to the road, that place is a mess.
Wow Chris you are the master of disaster. Excellent work.
I'm somewhat supprised that the 5 inch plus, were not cut and used for post and rail, also that the brush was not chipped and used for mulch
You have the coolest toys!
LMAO, that was a really good cut/edit @4.31 from no truck to truck :)
Great job Chris
When you burn those brush piles do you have to get a burning permit or does the property owner have to
