You “got me” again, sir. I was thinking “he can’t possibly get any more dirt into that dump truck”. An there ya go…… putting like five more into it. The laughs on me again. A full day of work is what I truly see today. Thank you for sharing.
Another DP collab! Since he did his seals why not come help do yours. The followers of both of you, like many of us, will absolutely love that. The clearing is monotonous but you're running everything. Very cool!
Everyday is such a huge transformation! The LD18 1-man band is just rockin it. Hurricane to frost in a span of like 3 weeks…crazy weather. The long Summer days of fighting to keep the AC working, have switched to “heater mode”…lol! Thanks for sharing Chris!
This couple of lots are shaping up real nice. Sooner or later there'll be a couple of houses with beautiful yards of grass all thanks to Chris's ability with excavation equipment. Maybe one day the Lady owners will call him back to build them a nice little pond and we'll get tp see how it turned out.
I'd love to see you and Mike go through your equipment purchases of the last year or two and talk about what paid off and what really isn't, where you got good value for the money and where you didn't, etc
I hope you video when you and Mike are working on Barney, Mike is a good mechanic and it’s good to see y’all helping each other Chris! Can’t wait to see brother, you sure made good progress on this job Chris! Hopefully you’ll get Betty back in the team and get her home, I’d love to see her sitting next to your latest track loader at your farm! Just to see the difference, thanks for sharing these interesting videos Chris! Stay safe and healthy brother!
Norm Engineering make a good root rake for skid steers as well. Double sided rake, one side had very fine space rake then the other side is very open with some spacing.
There really is something satisfying to watch you pluck those trees out of the ground like you're pulling weeds. Those are turning out to be a nice couple of lots. Good job, per usual!
For a one man crew, you sure get a lot done Chris! Jump from one machine to the next brother, guess that’s what keeps the bills paid brother! Good luck my friend and I hope you take time to get your flu shot before it’s gets really cold! Please stay healthy my friend! 🤙🏻🤙🏻
A good day of work Chris , hope you and Mike do a video on the seal replacement. Mike is good on Cross-lock and diff. Lock repairs on dump trucks 😉👌👍🍺🇬🇧
A day without the 6 is just plain sinful I tell ya, the “ole” kitty starts right up, no hesitation, gotta love it. The lots are looking spectacular, thanks for the ride along sir.
Chris. It is great to see working on other job's. That 5 acre pond project has used a bunch of your time. Still you are a very very smooth machine operator with that Volvo and all of your other equipment too. Please Take Care of yourself plus be Careful around all heavy equipment. ✨️👍😎
we have a D4 and a Komatsu like yours in the yard, when fine grading came up everybody would fight over them to get it done, they both do equally fine jobs. However we acquired a D5 with the 5# lgp tracks and it out shines them both moving more dirt with precision. The fixed a lot of the issues and it is a dream to service
That D6 is definitely my favourite, was wondering when you were going to fire it up. The dozer of my childhood, not like these new fangled high tech machines that work out the levels for you. That's new machines are like driving an automated electric car, soulless!
When DP swings by would be a great time to use the extra hands to restore the 6 wheel drive as well as the wheel seals on the haul truck. You are probably just as (perhaps more) anxious to get it to its full capability as the rest of us. Amazing how much one man can accomplish when having the right tools!
Oh good dirt perfect is coming down, you two seem to always have a good time. You can teach him a few things lol. Two totally different ways of doing things. I hope you enjoy his visit. Thanks for sharing this with me
When Dirt Perfect comes down I would like to see you guys using excavators to shuffle, deal, and play cards. That would be a good show because you guys are both prerty good. If that is to easy you could take turns doing card tricks.
This is looking really nice. Can't wait to see what's next here (yeah, more burning & clearing right now), and looking forward to Mike helping you with Barney. That will be fun.
Hey Chris I am not a machinery operator at all but love to watch it work you are the best operator I have ever watched I was wondering if you thought that hungry boards on your dozer blades would be a great idea to stop brush coming over the top of your blades when you are pushing brush piles or stick raking
Hi Chris, great work and good content. If I can make an observation it is you have to do a lot of reversing when pushing or raking with the dozers, on your larger sites can you not have burn piles at each end of the site to allow you to push or rake in the opposite direction to save all of that reversing you do.
I bet it was 'frosty' in Carolina - we had upper 30s here in N. Fla. Yeaaa, Chris resurrected coals to restart a fire! Looking forward to a video of DP helping you with Barney`s wheel seals [and maybe brake systems and lockers]. Wilma dozer does not disappoint on cold starts. Freezing time is approaching - have you checked all equipment for antifreeze in radiators?
All you needed to add out there today was Winston, a couple of cows, a chicken or two, and your 4-wheeler. Nothing like bringing all your toys to one playground! 🚜 🐾 🐮 🐔 🚜 🎈 🔥 🚜
Coming on a long Man !! That site has some good looking clay on it, don't ya think Chris ?? Looks like all the Truck loads you've gotten are pretty nice looking clay !! I say, Hell yeah man, Burn it on up if ya can, like you said, it's pretty open out there, as long as the wind don't get to bad !! That Ol'Big 6 , Believe that's one of your favorite machines to run, Got that POWER !! lololol.... Got it shaping on up Man !! Be out of there and gone , before ya know it.... Great as always Chris !! Have a Great Evening Man !! And, On too the Next....
I am looking at land in South Tennessee and each time I see a piece I am considering to buy is, " man I wonder what Chris could do to make this a pond or homesite like I am thinking". Then i have to tell myself I am a little to far away for him to come. 🤔😭😭
Idk if you have enough cameras and tripods but I think it’d be cool if you left a camera on a tripod set out of the way a bit but facing one of these burn piles and we can see a time lapse of the pile burning down as you feed it. Just a thought
Hi Todd that's because he is proud of his work and wants to show his customers that they are getting they money's worth. Hope to see you driving soon. Have a great weekend buddy😵💫
#Chris ... says as always ... "I'm just going to start a small fire" ... 1/2 hour later "Look at how well that fire is burning, I'll just add a little more"
AHAHAHA that is funny I said a long time ago to get dirt perfect to come fix your dump truck because he has experience now from his and you could pay him with Pepsi, I hope you video it for us
Hey Chris I hope while dirt perfect is there he can help you get your lockers fixed in your off road dump truck !. an have you got a nick name for the truck yet ? Oh by the way you do an awesome job on every job you do I've learned alot of knowledge from you about building ponds roads pads for houses garages ect. An how to pack clay dirt in layers an the difference between the dirts you deal with love watching all your videos
I remember one of the first videos I caught was the HUGE, and I mean HUGE, burn pile he built in an open field. It got so hot, he couldn’t get within 200ft of it.
Hey Chris !! You said Mike was coming down to work on ""BARNEY"" As you are gona have him look at the ""AXLE Lockers "" Too ?? Always something to do with machinery for sure,, but look at the benefit you get from using them as NOT like the ""OL"" days with Mike's ""NEW" B/E Dragline !! HAHA 🙃😊🤔🤔🤠😎😮👍👍👍👍👍
Hello Chris, would it be difficult for you to install automatic spitters on all your equipment, similar to what commercial trucks use? Thanks for the video and I look at every one you post.
Dude we skipped fall and went full winter in the morning. I had on a jacket this morning and my wife said "you know it's cold if Scott has on a jacket." 🤣
@@letsdig18 that’s pretty cool. Love watching you shape land. I used to do solar contracting and hired out a lot of civil work. I know how much goes into moving all of that. It’s definitely not as easy as people will have others to believe. Some of the most fun I had was running a little 299D2 skid loader and going back and forth to a cat 345 excavator helping the civil guy. I was just pushing and loading piles. He was cutting and grading and doing the trench work.
I didn’t know if you and DP were friends and glad to hear it. You’re My top 2 dirt contractors as I spent my life working projects and operated many different machines. I watch all your content and will continue to! Keep grinding as that’s what it takes, persistence 💪👍😎👋
Cold weather, cold steel and a fire what a wonderful day. Beats working in an office any day.
You “got me” again, sir. I was thinking “he can’t possibly get any more dirt into that dump truck”. An there ya go…… putting like five more into it. The laughs on me again. A full day of work is what I truly see today. Thank you for sharing.

which christmas, lol.
@@malcolmbennett530 LOL!!! Funny, but true. Sorry DP.
I was thinking maybe Easter
DP couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag,
As useless as Tits on a bull 😅🤣
Sad but true 👍
I think DP called the delay “structured”.
I'd love to see you and Mike go through your equipment purchases of the last year or two and talk about what paid off and what really isn't, where you got good value for the money and where you didn't, etc
I love watching you work. You get so much done in a day that is amazes me. There are some big companies that I wish had your work ethic.

You know, it has to be sooo satisfying coming into a raw piece of land, and then seeing it transform with each day polishing it into a gem.
That Cat can push....when the pile in front gets organized --- Wow 👍
I didn’t doubt for a minute that the D6 would get a run😊 Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰

The only machine I've seen in your stable that can push a whole brush pile across a field to make an even bigger brush pile. WOW
You are way better then dirt perfect. Quality work and excellent media!

Work ethic....when you're on the job site...and the SUN 🌞 didn't clear the trees yet! 😉👍

The absolute best thing about the D6…..no electronic brain box and no def

gonna be fun seeing DP and you in action!! Great work yet again Chris
You and John are so lucky to have the equiptment to take some ugly stuff and make it beautiful. Would love to see more of him .
Look at that! Already burning, let me just smother it with three buckets full of more trees lol
Another good one bro, looking forward to the banter between you and DP when the wheel seals get done. Safe travels

KT3406E just posted doing a wheel cylinder on his haul truck. He is more on the mechanic side . Great job on the clearing , and great video
Neat stuff. Enjoyed watching 😎 ✌️
Love this video Christ a little of every thing on this project very good job .
The only person I know of that works by their self majority of the time . But still gets a lot done
