    Perhaps remove the way covers and clean them nicely from all the gunk that has accumulated in the last 30years. And see if there is any galling/fretting. And check if all the oil piping is in good order.
    Next thing is to level the bed. Otherwise it won't cut accurately.
    I wouldn't use these machines for too much fine 3D interpolation , aka Fusion360 stuff. These machines aren't build for it, they like beefy cuts, no small stuff. Lots of repetitive small movements will displace/push out the oil out of the machine ways and you'll end up with worn out ways, ie a trashed machine.

    The air pressure is to clean out the cooling canals in tools if they have so they dont fill up the toolchanger with liquid.
    Its for some more stuff but this is one of them.

    Looks like an old Fanuc 10/11. They had tape capabilities, but that was kind of a leftover from early days. Most shops were converted to RS232 by the time F10/11s came around. If that panel happens to have the manual ABS/Inc switch on it, make sure you leave it on ABS! Couldn't tell you how many service calls I made on machines that still had that stupid switch. Some were pretty severe crashes....

      @SwitchAndLever 5 лет назад

      @@ianwhatmough150 I don't think it should be that problematic to modify a generic post since we have the manuals and can figure out the feature set reasonably easy. It mostly seems like it's a bit finicky in how the G-code is formatted, in which case modifying the post processor should be easy. Though, since it's a fairly common controller I think the odds of finding a post processor that works without hacking it to pieces manually are pretty decent.
