    Man, don’t you just hate it when you need to make a fiberglass mold so you build a beautiful 5 axis precise computer -controlled milling machine? Hat it when that happens…
    In all seriousness great stuff! My jaw dropped when I saw the electronics cabinet. Thing of beauty! 😍

      Dear i want to made 5 axis machine and i am mechanical designer use solid work software and also known about electronic
      I want to lern only some concept
      And what's programming software you use i means not mach3

    I have a post that will allow Mach3 to use G43 for tool offsets, even without TCP control support.

    Hello, thanks for your amazing videos. I'm designing my own 5axis CNC milling router. I have a difficult question about z axis physical (switch) limits. ..
    When the spidle is points down there is a limit to avoid table collision, BUT..... when head axis B is rotated 90º I´ll need to move Z down to the base.. Who could I set this B limit depending on the B axis position?... 😅.. Thanks again

    the problem, if you do your 4 and 5 axis at the spindle, is that u make the entire thing incapable to mill anything hard without getting a lot of chatter
    but for your application its completely fine I guess

    Definitely a nice build but clearly not a home build as u can see in the early in the video.. id love to have a workplace/ university machining shop at my disposal...

      There is a co-workshop in Hong Kong and i need to make all my large size alum. parts which my small milling cnc cannot do it.

    Wow, can you sell me one of those B/C heads? Or sell me the plans? Or better yet, what servos and harmonic drives are you using? I see how you have built it and am certain that I can do it myself! Either way, thanks for posting, this is GREAT INFORMATION & MOTIVATION!

    congratulation from France , greate Job ! one question, what kind of glue do you use at 4' to glue the diferent foam layers together ? => could you share the brand and reference of the glue . thanks in advance !

      I brought that glue from a air-condition system & parts shops (Sorry they don't have any brand on packing) and its for glue up a XPS panels.

    Great project my friend, one question, could the Masso CNC controller (5axis version) could be used to build a 5 axis cnc machine similar to the Pocket NC?, I want to mill discs of aluminum of 5inch diameter by 1inch thick, (with nema23 and 1000w spindle) and what do you think about the precision of this Masso controlles?

    Array Z It would be grate to get some build drawing, so the main thing is about the turning head with placed the air cooled spindel. It look like that you use a direct drive unit for the turning head. Which size it is?

    How do you configure the B, C center axis? Do you work off of 0,0 and adjust tool offset for each tool?
    I have been looking and all are about table table set up. Please shed some light.
