Good idea with the bucket. But, if you have raccoons or rat snakes, they will get those nestlings since there is no climbing protection.
Yes, I agree. This video was taken a few years ago before we moved to the farm, almost all of her houses now have baffles.
She also makes me put fishing line in front of the holes to keep the sparrows out!
