I will be 50 next month; I have a split core and was told to just deal with it, it happens, and there is nothing I can do to change this. I have tried so many things over 20 years since my last child was born, and nothing has worked so far. I like everything you have to say, and you bet I am doing this exercise as I have never wanted to give up on myself in the pursuit to feel better in my body. Thank you for putting yourself out here like this, I am so glad I found you, and I am following you now. I had a full hysterectomy and was told it is my fault I gained 55lbs in two months. "MY FAULT," really! I have loved watching your videos and your story, this has been my journey for 14month now, and I have been so depressed. I have swelling, joints hurt, my back is a mess, and my wonderful stomach also displays a slit core. I look in the mirror and do not even know who I am anymore. All this has not been without trying, only to be told eat healthier, I eat any healthier I might as well start eating tree bark lol You have taken all the knowledge of "healthy" food and showing how to put in the right combination to make it more effective and the right amount of exercise instead of what I have been told by my own dr, eat 1200 calories and exercise 1 hour every day. I had an unfortunate accident about 15yrs ago, where Drs are amazed I walked away. But years later, (I am 61 now) i cant even get up off floor on my own, no muscle mass left in legs, but, am definitely going to try n do what i can to lose this extra belly fat. Thank you! P.S. Have been faithful on treadmill everyday, but no results. I'm tired of feeling crappy everyday. I hope this works!!
I am adding this to my daily morning workout. My core is my main weakness ... I can totally relate to what happens to abdominal muscles during pregnancy. I had 5 pregnancies! I think a workout for new moms/veteran moms to help close up that abdominal gap would be a great addition to your video list. Thanks again for everything you share!!
The core exercises are great! I am 58 years old and feel that they are very beneficial for pelvic floor strength as I age. I have a prolapsed bladder after having had 4 children. Along with these exercises and my Pilates, my pelvic floor is so much stronger, keeping my bladder up. The key of course is to do them regularly.

Yes! I have both problems, too. I had my baby when I was 42, got back in shape quickly, but now at 71, post menopausal, I can really see and feel how abdominal surgery tends to put a damper on those muscles!

This whole workout was awesome! I really like the ankle reaches. I have been doing metabolic renewal 3 times a week for 3 weeks now so I am just starting phase 2. I really like them but havent been feeling them working in core mainly just my arms and legs. I am now challenging my self to do some of your core exercises everyday to help me get some faster results. I am seriously considering buying yours as well. Been doing this everyday since middle of November I can definitely see more definition but still have a little band of fat just above my naval it’s like a little roll 😕 I will keep working away at these exercises and hopefully it will disappear. I’m just 63 so I don’t think my tummy is going to be completely flat anymore but I want to stay fit and theses exercises certainly wake my body up every morning 👍

I didnt realize you could fix a split core. When I was pregnant with My 2and daughter, that had happened and have been struggling with a belly ever since.. I am fairly skinny but always look about 5 months pregnant. Thank you for this video and talking about it.. I feel like there is hope. How many times a day or week should you do this exercise??
I'm only 5'2" and my 8lb 9oz daughter definitely split my core apart! My daughter is almost 32 years old - so I can't imagine ever having a flat stomach again. I'm going to try! Thanks for the videos!

I started exercising last November, then lost motivation cuz i'm just not seeing any results..i don't expect overnight progress, just wanted to see some type of change..i also struggle with body image cuz i want to gain weight, not lose..my stomach is bigger than i'd like cuz thts where everything goes, unfortunately!! I will try these daily, or every other day, and see how it works out. Excellent demonstrations also! So thanks!!

Meredith, You are such an inspiration! I really love your videos! I'm 61 years young an happened to find your video a couple of months ago. I was in very bad physical shape, (about 35 lbs overweight and lots of belly fat). I have back/neck issues and trying really hard stick with diet/ exercise. Some of them are hard for me (the ankle reach) Do you have a modified version of this exercise for someone with chronic neck pain. Btw, over the last 8 months I've dropped 20 lbs, but I am flabby in thigh and tummy area. I also ride a stationary bike 5 times per week about 7-10 miles per day.

I've had 9 pregnancies with 7 of them being c-sections. My abs are getting stronger but I still don't have flat abs.

Good workout, overall each was good, not sure which is favorite. I’ll try and see effects have been working out for years yet still had belly fat, and I’m not hardcore, have done different diets. Need something lasting-

Hi Mere, I just subscribed! I started exercising last November, then lost motivation cuz i'm just not seeing any results..i don't expect overnight progress, just wanted to see some type of change..i also struggle with body image cuz i want to gain weight, not lose..my stomach is bigger than i'd like cuz thts where everything goes, unfortunately!! I will try these daily, or every other day, and see how it works out. Excellent demonstrations also! So thanks!!

You are such an inspiration! I really love your videos! I'm 61 years young an happened to find your video a couple of months ago. I was in very bad physical shape, (about 35 lbs overweight and lots of belly fat). I have back/neck issues and trying really hard stick with diet/ exercise. Some of them are hard for me (the ankle reach) Do you have a modified version of this exercise for someone with chronic neck pain. Btw, over the last 8 months I've dropped 20 lbs, but I am flabby in thigh and tummy area. I also ride a stationary bike 5 times per week about 7-10 miles per day.
