Going to see Dwight in a couple weeks . Been listening and gonig to see him since the 80's as a teenager. Last time was in a little club in GA late 90's . I'd say everybody likes him just about. Kinda like Waylon and still like Willie out doing his thing just as cool as can be
I think you're right about everyone liking him. I listen to bands like The Grateful Dead, Iron Maiden, Rush, etc, and I don't listen to any country music at all, other than what the Dead play, but I have always loved Dwight Yoakam. Go figure.
He sounds superb here vocally & is playing guitar probably the most tastefully I’ve ever heard him. (Sounds like) Marine’s on point as always on drums. Don’t know who’s on keyboards. Don’t think it’s Skip Edwards (who I love); maybe Brian Whelan, but the organ & piano are great!

Nothing i seen him a couple years ago with Eric Church he sounded like he was 21 again.
Sounds great...a lot of them lose it but he sounds like a more seasoned Dwight and that's good.
