The land also boasts a large pine forested area, and flat open fields for keeping horses, sheep, goats or planting crops. OKportugal do not sell properties, we only make property tour videos. Ken, you did a great job in showcasing this property. It's a project that will attract skilled contractors for the price. Thank you for the tour. Sending you much love and affection 🙏❤🙏 Jim, Harriet and Yuki . Richmond, Va.
Great property with lots of potential, the road through the middle is a little negative and I’d want the land checked for flood potential but seems good value and just what I’d be looking for. 👍🏽
Most landowners in Central Portugal would hope and pray for a flood once in a while. 😀To dry, in the summer, is potentially a much bigger problem. Almost nowhere there is to much water. (also Covilha is close to the mountains so this land is also still higher level than surrounding land, so to much water will disappear easily i think). For potential water shortage, with not enough rain. The irrigation system in this region is great. The costs are under 100 Euro/Dollar a year. There are small canals, and pipes connected to most of the farms. Water comes from a big lake i believe. So always enough water.
My husband and I bought a ruin in the Alentejo that we turned into a beautiful house It has 7acers dealing with the restauration is very hard work because it's hard to find good builders but this would be a good investment.
Wow this is a reasonable price for the massive land size, and obvious a rebuild of home, the home appears to have a water line mark on inside walls, I do wonder if it is in a flood zone?? I will Google map the area, but this is 7.4 something acres, and intriguing. Thank you Ken for sharing this property to the world wide web❤
If you like I can put you in touch with a builder that can have a look at the house and write a report on any damages and how much they estimate renovation works would cost.
I don't think they ever had a flood there. Not there and not miles around. Water shortage is in fact the biggest problem in Southern and Central Portugal. Therefore the government installed this gigantic irrigation system. It connects several villages in the area.
@@mozebkhan 3 mill? ROFL yeah right... must be talking about the worthless money in Turkey or something... And running costs? well maybe if you don't use so much power and water and need gold toilets then you can do it cheaper LOL

A beautiful place. A blank canvas for all your homestead dreams. I believe I would cut down all pine trees and replace them with oak and chestnut. Instead of seeing a small farm woodland as a liability. It should be an integral part where livestock, wildlife and humans thrive together. Might even be plant a thousand more trees to create a savanna of sorts with agroforestry permaculture. All the tilling of that hot dry soil is truly not benficial. It needs to be regenerated.

I think so too. That old stone farmhouse could be made into a really cute cottage, and the land is perfect for animals or crops. I love the forest too. Imagine a little log cabin in there as a summerhouse :)
@@OKportugal I'm their mate. Log cabin, camping. Enough room for a large pond too! This is a great price! Usually the property is smaller or more dilapidated for this price range... Couldn't stop thinking about that derelict farm building next door either.. Do you know anything about it? Looks huge. Could be purchased at a later date maybe.. Looks like the land around it is being harvested for grass or straw? Thanks
@@spacehoppermark6161 I dont know about that neighbouring land, sorry. I only had a couple of hours to look around and get information from the owner and estate agent while making this video.
According to the agent, it is a legal house built on an Urban plot with a habitation license. For more information please contact the agent. I put their details in the video description.
Probably on every small farm in Portugal they used to have pigs. 😀 Pigs and chickens. Or do you mean pigs inside the house? Inside needs some cleaning that is true. But it's not that bad i believe.

great potential for someone who has the means to do it all up properly, l bet it would look amazing rendered and painted white
I think it will be a very cute little cottage if you could take the walls back to the bare granite and point it up properly :)

Can I get this property financed by a bank in Portugal
Getting bank loan is possible but it depends on your age and what you earn. It also is very burocratic.
Very nice! Property & price

Hello. I wana buy land 50 hactor. Best regards
The property splits up in the middle by the road
You have a free road on your land. Already there. 😀 . So it's also a good thing. Once in a while a neighbor who pass by probably.
its this property still available?
Check the video description for the agents contact details. It's been a while since I filmed so perhaps it's sold already

The big question is ofcourse or it does have a habitation licenses. Which has to be cleared by a lawyer.
Question been answerd. 😂😂 To impatient again. Have to watch the whole video next time.
No Habitiaon License ?

Hi. Can you buy the big log cabins to live in out there. Thanks.
I don't know but I'm sure it's possible
Did pigs live there?
There is a pig pen at the front of the property and evidence that they were making Chorico sausages.

Haze from the spraying 🙄
