This is more than enough land to farm and have lots of people to help and stay. Grow crops and or have animals. So many possibilities. This is more than one family to manage. I see a commune type environment. Price is right. Well built structures. Lots of water availability. Electricity New. Septic yes. Minimal work required to fix up. Will sale quickly.
A great presentation o meu irmão Nicolas. A long drive from home but this was worth it. As others have pointed out, this property has so much going for it. Especially with such close proximity to Lisbon and Setúbal I would not expect this piece to be on the market long. I think about what a farm property this size 45 minutes from Toronto, what the asking price for it would be. A couple million CDN dollars or perhaps more. Welcome to the Destino team Carl! You'll do well with Nick I know.
And in Canada you have few months of sunshine the rest of the year ist frozen cold 🥶 😀 And there you have 300 suny days But is a very diference in prices @bryansarty3821
Been nice knowing you online. Your bus is not going my direction. I'll have to get off here.. Maybe we'll meet in person in 3 - 5 years there in Portugal. More power.
Love the bartering.❤ Great property. Shouldn't be a long wait to an offer. Thanks Nick & Carl. I always think of Auqa Teen, The Hunger Force when I hear that name, Carl. 😂 Aqua Teen Forever. Ha
Very nice property indeed, and really if your a DIY-er the work needed is minimal, while renovating areas you could re-plant the grape vines which after couple years would bring that money back, but almost instantly you could bring back a piggery for all that lovely bacon hehe oh and sheep for the lamb chops, I'm hungry just thinking about it hehe
This property highlights just how excessive, the asking prices for properties in the region you most commonly cover, are. This property is in the municipality of Palmela which is in the district of Setubal.
I watch the videos Carl posts showcasing Portuguese properties for sale. However I need to make some factual corrections to this video because it is a bit misleading. This property is not in the Greater Lisbon area. The minute you go across the Ponte 25 de Abril, you are no longer in the Lisbon District or Greater Lisbon area. This property is located in the located in the Setubal district, concelho de Palmela. It is 54 minutes to downtown Lisbon on a good day, 42 minutes to downtown Setubal , 25 minutes to downtown Montijo, not 35 minutes, 30 and 17 minutes respectively as mentioned in the video. It is important to get the facts straight because someone watching the video may want to see the property thinking it is close to Lisbon and so on, to find out that it is quite far. Cheers
Hello Nick and hello Carl and welcome (or should that be a warm welcome) to the Destino team, you’ll find on the whole we are a great team who will always tell you exactly what we think of a property and we all have different tastes and opinions on what makes a great property or a great home or what is a house without a soul to the damned right tip of a place. Lol the only problem is it’s normally all in the same video hahaha. No on the whole we are a friendly team of people. This property is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build their own business up from the ground lol yet wants a place they can move into right away and live their while getting that business built up. While this property looks dry and arid ground but that only because it’s not been lived in and nothing was growing their this year. Once someone’s on the ground and har the bore hole running and possibly the well gets up and used the grass will be lush and the lucky owner will wish they hadn’t turned the water on so quickly as they’ll be cutting grass in a couple of months. The main house only needs a clean and a lick of paint to make it a home then you could plan for the long term like sanding the floors back down to the bare wood and re polish the floors to bring out the warm of the wood. Then start on the secondary house and make them into either one or two homes for the hired help and or the extended family (or are they the same thing here). The potential is endless from growing vegetables to electricity or having down to the stream as a park type garden for the home but whatever you make it it will be lovely and you’ll be the luckiest family there.😊😊😊
I love the detailed response and agree with what you say. There is so much potential and I'm sure that somebody is going to make a great (peaceful) life here. Thank you for your support it means a lot to receive such a warm welcome.
Thank you Martin, you are truly one of our family ♥️ There are limitless possibilities for this property with the added bonus of being close to Lisboa and not surrounded by the people and chaos associated with city life. I always appreciate your input and ideas and hope one day we can sit and break bread together, thank you 😊
@destino2portugal this is the one I would have been all over if not for my accident I would have lived to take a good go at it, not sure what I would have had a go at but something would have come to me as you said the options are endless.
@@destino2portugal what a shame. I was making mlans already. I was thinking it would be the perfect land and buildings to produce Hempcrete. 😊. Love your channel BTW.

@@the_englishman_in_lisbon I think your pronunciation on the few Portuguese words you spoke was really impressive. So, home is Charneca da Caparica - that's quite a contrast from Manchester but, so is Berkshire, where I live, compared to Vila Franca De Xira, where I was born, I suppose. 😃

Thanks Patti, it's our first move into Lisbon so testing the water and this is similar to many we have already filmed so a bridge 👌
Good price unlimited potential.

There is also Freeport Alcochete outlet shopping center not far witch is the best place to get your clothing's at discount prices.
There is, I've been there myself several times to pick up a few bargains.
Thanks for sharing your local knowledge 🙏
Amazing opportunity for the lucky person(s) who acquire it.
Welcome, Carl, and thank you both for this viewing.
You could use the land to start your own solar farm and resell it to the grid.
There's enough space for sure!
Great idea 💡

Nice property! I like it very much!
But it's looking very dry the whole property!
That's because of the long, hot summer, as we are now in autumn it will soon be lush and green again.

Wow my dream land. May the god help me my fream to reality.
@Destino Portugal what growing zone is this property in??? Example: I am in zone 7 here in North Carolina, USA, but Florida is zone 9 and 10.
I'm not sure, I think they just have 2 types of zones, agricultural and urban, but I may be wrong....
I often am 😅
@@destino2portugal Zone is more related to dry or wet region.. in the USA..
Zones 8 to 10 in Portugal. Lisbon is 10b.
