@@Celinelikedionnice vlog. Thanks. I assume this is carryon only without weight limit ( travel within US / North America). It will be great if you can do a similar one for EU which often have 7kg carry on limit. Thanks
I’m proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone and packing light for this trip you went on. It’s not easy when you’re an over packer. It was a great video to watch :))
Your videos are the definition of cozy! I'm so glad that you decided to start a RUclips channel, because otherwise I wouldn't get to know such a sweet and outgoing person who has a HEART of gold 💛 I hope you know how special and inspiring you are 🤍
I’ve always used carry on when taking long European trips. What’s changed is instead of a size requirement now they are using a weight requirement. I bring one or two color schemes so this summer is black & white. Everything will be able to mix & match. I also will wear my heaviest clothing on the plane. Once you pack lift you bag & give it a shake or 3, will make a bit more space.
Depending on the places you go in Turkey, my experience has been that a more modest choice of clothing is more suitable such as covering your chest and shoulders, and your legs. As a female tourist you’ll got lots of attention there anyway so you might want to opt for plain clothes to blend in. Besides that, it’s not allowed to wear certain clothes in the mosques for example which would be a shame to miss out on as they are stunning .
Yep, I stayed in Europe side istanbul and went out for dinner in a white lace top with a white bra. Boy oh boy. Altho there’s no legal requirement for dressing. I kept my jacket on ALL night.
Thank you for calling out that "TSA Approved" bags aren't actually a real thing. TSA does NOT approve or endorse any liquids bags. Any bag could be labeled as TSA Approved, even if it's bigger than a quart. I learned this the hard way. Now I buy real quart size plastic bags to use for carry on liquids. My next tip to reduce the amount of liquids you have is to go with bars. Bar shampoo, bar condidtioner, bar lotion, bar shave cream, bar soap, toothpaste tabs... they don't count against your liquids allotment.!
Celine this video is so so so motivating and I really really can't wait to watch this video you are my inspiration and I wish you have a wonderful wonderful weekend💖☺️💫
I like what I'm seeing here, You have a passion for travel and That's great. You have been working very hard and You deserve nice things. You have a passion for what you're doing and That's awesome because Passion is super important. This world is really nice, There are many beautiful places on this planet and I hope you have a nice flight. 😊👍🇵🇪🇨🇦☺️
this was so helpful. did you do laundry? and was it hard finding a place? that is why i do not pack in a carry on. i don't always know if I can do laundry. where did you put the dirty clothes when you have such a small space in the carry on?
I have traveled 7 countries last year and nobody questioned my transparent bag with liquids in it. It's bigger than 8x10 for sure. lol! it's from a bedding case. def less than 16x10.
Packing cubes are awesome! I think you took too many dresses and too many tank tops. Shoes, 3 pairs are excellent! I always bring flip flops because I can walk barefoot ( germs!)
Another awesome video Celine and a good distraction from my issues with my RUclips channel (I think RUclips hates my channel). Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Celine.
Heyyy!! I have only did it once last week when I travelled to France for a week.. otherwise when I go to Europe I stay so long its impossible to fit everything in a carry on! But I have to admit, it makes the trip easier!
Almost all the flights were fine with the belt pouch, except 1 flight with Turkish Airlines. I ended up putting the belt pouch into my backpack in that case :)
@Celinelikedion Hello Celine🤗, wow I am so amazed at how much you could fit into your carry on luggage. Awesome and well done.👍 Your organisational skills sure stand out and I am also a person who makes lists to tick things off. I like your simple, classic , practical and stylish vibe for clothing, as your choice of clothes , especially neutral tones won't go out of date. I do adore the sheer long sleeve dress😍 and the bralette does look comfy. I am a skin care junkie and I was happy to see Tatcha in your skin care regimen😁. Also, I like your simple approach to skincare and makeup.👍 Thank you for an awesome video, cheers Lara from Downunder🦘🐨
hi Lara!! 🫶 I was almost amazed that everything fit 😂 I definitely prefer simple clothes - it's way easier especially if there's limited space! Tatcha is a must have no matter where we travel hahaha always lovely to hear from you ❤️
I wanted to keep my laptop accessible while I was on the plane! It was easier in my backpack, since that was stored in the seat in front of me, while my suitcase was in the overhead :)
I love how you've organized everything! Quick question, have you heard about the Ikigai Backpack from NomadLane? It looks like a dream for staying organized on the go.
so happy to hear you enjoyed it! 🥰 I've heard that not using packing cubes works better for some people too! I personally like the organization part of it so far 🙌
I travel internationally regularly, thus also encounter the somewhat smaller carry-on sizes. As a result, I bought the 20" Monos Pro (not the 22" or "sure to wind up in check-thru" Pro Plus model!) I'm regretting my decision. That drop-down front pocket is virtually useless and severely limits the interior space on that side of the clamshell. Only thing I really like about this (overpriced) piece of luggage is the wheels.
I think you packed too many clothes. You should be able to wear each item at least twice. My general rule of thumb is 3 of each category. You can be more lienuant and pack 3 shorts and 3 skirts/pants, 3 tank tops and 3 shirts/cardigans. However, you probably don't need 5 dresses or 5 tank tops. With just 3, you can make so many outfits. Thanks for sharing.
I hope this can give you some inspo for your next trip! 🥰 are you a checked luggage or carry on type of person??
Definitely carry on type. Easier to travel, no fees, and helps me focus on the essentials to bring.
@@SpaceCityDreams so true, it’s so much easier while you’re on the go 🙌
Checked luggage...as I like to prepared for just in case...
I'm a carryon girl!

Yes, culture matters. Females need to pay attention to where we are traveling. Safety matters more than the cute vacay photos.

@@funjunk301yes, and they work great. Just rub into hands or up and down body. They’re a soft bar
@@funjunk301I’ve never heard of it but I’ve never had problems with my liquids ever as long as they were 3.4oz or less

It helps to be petite with little clothes!
I'm with you -- I always use a ziplock quart size bag for liquids. So much easier...
agreed!!
This was so fun to watch! You inspire me to pack lighter. Great job honestly!
so glad you enjoyed it! it taught me a lot about what I need vs want to bring with me 🤭

hi, how many kg was your carry on when you put all those things inside? thanks
it was 8.5kg! I rearranged a few items between my backpack and suitcase though just to be on the safer side
@Celinelikedion thanks..

Hi Celine! Great video! I'm a carry on type of person. Less hassle haha. Hope you have a fun trip in Turkey!!

Did you put your makeup bag in your suitcase or backpack
I put my toiletries/makeup into my backpack so it’s quicker to take out for TSA :)

Lululemob belt bags are considered an extra bag.
Im curious why you didn’t use the front pocket of your Mono pro luggage for your laptop and kindle instead you used your backpack?
I preferred to store my suitcase in the overhead bin, but I wanted my devices accessible. so my backpack stayed under the seat in front of me!
Did they count your belted pouch as a personal item and make you put it in your other bag?

Usually (in Europe) they don’t weight carry on. As long as it’s the right size they just presume it’s fine.
