Just a few comments. Check your baggage restrictions in foreign destinations. Both of those bags are probably too big if you are flying between international countries. Many of them, the carry on is 20 inches, including the wheels (many bags saying they are 20" are actually 22" with wheels. Foreign airlines are much stricter and may have you actually put your bag(s) in a sizer. The liquids ne3d to be in a separate bag and actually fit in a quart zip bag. They may give you one of their bags and you'll have to transfer all your items.
As a mother of four children who travels 254 days out of each year, I just wanted to give this person a hug, and teach them how to really pack carry on. The toiletries bag was such a mess and only I could teach her the way.
Whilst I appreciate you are sticking your packing to two bags only I cannot imagine that they fall within the weight limit for most airlines. For my upcoming trip, the weight limit is 7 kg per carry on bag and I am already over that weight and don't have as much stuff as you! I know that I have to keep my liquids and electrical items packed separately so that they can be checked at security. You're packing tips may be appropriate for the US but I cannot imagine they are appropriate for all countries, certainly not the UK.
I love this I like to be cute and I don't understand how some people just want to wear the same clothes over and over again. Going on a cruise and hanging with my boyfriend for a week as well. I will enjoy fashion not just have basic clothes on for the sake of not carrying stuff. ❤️💕
Make sure to check your specific airlines size and weight restrictions. European airlines in general have small size and weight allowances. For example, I am flying Lufthansa to France soon, and they have very strict size and weight allowances. Carry on size is smaller than all of the carry on suitcases I owned, so I had to buy a new one. Plus the weight limit for carry on is only 8kg, which is 17.6 lbs. And the personal item allowance is TINY: 11.8” x 15.7” x 3.9” The weekender Beis is about 4 times the size allowance for a personal item on Lufthansa. If you exceed the limits, you MAY slide by, but maybe not. Lufthansa has the reputation of being very strict. Other airlines may be more forgiving.
Thanks for this!! yes European standards are a lot smaller! None of the airlines ive been on have been that strict and have been okay with my bag but worse case scenario they’ll check your bag at the gate!
@@EliaEsparza1Hi, can you let us know what airlines you have travelled with this carry on? I’m worried about buying the carry on and having to check it in often.
@@Adileneee16I am currently at the airport flying with Air France in EU, just passed by security check. I am a regular AF flyer and if you plan to travel with both the BEIS carry on and weekender, you would end up checking the carry on each time. The BEIS weekender is not considered a personal item size: 15.7 x 11.8 x 5.8 in. is the authorised size with Air France. 19 x 9.8 x 15.7 is the BEIS weekender size. Some of us end up on this channel because we are looking for solutions to pack without having to check in, if I may suggest something very kindly to Elia just for clarity: it would be worth clarifying that what is described in this video doesn’t allow to fly to Europe without checking in the carry on. All the best 😊
I will also add that when I checked in at San Francisco for my flight to France (stopping first in Germany) the airline agent was training a new employee and demonstrated how he must weigh all carry-ons. I was very glad I had weighed my rolling carry-on to make sure it was within limits, so I had no problem. I could only pack my small roller about 3/4 full because it hit 8kg quickly, and that was only with clothes and a pair of shoes, nothing really heavy. So be warned Lufthansa is serious about size and weight restrictions. Two other people in our group flew with United, and didn’t have any carry on luggage weighed. So it really depends on the airline.
This was actually incredibly helpful to see what NOT to do and what to do. I think for sure, a pair of shoes have to go in the personal bag (maybe the biggest and heaviest). And maybe less clothes....so you like me, wear dresses - 1 big cube for dresses then 1 big cube for tops and bottoms. Then 2 smaller cubes for hats, swimwear...I'm going to SEA (southeast Asia) and they only let you with 7kg...as opposed to europe which is 15, infact here in europe they don't even weigh it. But BABE all those liquids?! you won't even be allowed....
Thanks! I actually had no problems with the liquids through all the airports I went through and ended up wearing all the clothing and doing a little shopping with space to bring it back 👀 but yes could’ve probably taken a few less things!
One rule I'm starting to learn is if I call it a "just in case" item, I try not to pack it. Just in case is usually = never and you can always buy it cheap if you REALLY need it.
May I ask? Is that the regular size Beis carry on? I read somewhere that the regular is not permitted on most international flights as a carryon. That in order to have it on the overhead compartment it needs to be the smaller carry on.
Wow, your packing skills are impressive! It's great to see how organized you are with your luggage. I'm definitely taking notes for my next trip. I love the idea of using packing cubes and how you rolled up your clothes to maximize space. The base carry-on luggage you have seems perfect for travel, especially with its expandable feature. The weekender mini weighs 3 lbs before you add things. I’m taking a 20 inch carry on & the Beis bag. I like how the Beis can fit under the seat. This was helpful especially with the tip that the Beis bag doesn’t slide under the isle seat! Leaving for Vienna in a few days. I have the same travel make up bag and it fits a lot!
It’s a lot easier to have a carry on when you’re going from country to country and you’re less likely to have the airline lose your bag. Not to mention when you’re walking around the city - anything bigger would be miserable to haul around.
@@EliaEsparza1 do you often walk around the city with your luggage? In all my years of flying my luggage was misplaced once and returned 3 days later. I always check my bag and enjoy being free at the airport
See!! All of that work in strategizing blah blah is just not worth the few nickel's one will save in checking in a bag. My credit card travel perks + travel insurance, alllll give me peace-of-mind if something were to get lost or damaged. This is also why I take any irreplaceable and valuable items with me, in a (separate) carry-on bag. All problems solved and thwarted :) lol Also, what happens if you want to go shopping, then what? I can tell you never traveled before, this is way too much, over packing, for just in case , please never do this , I just can't believe you use all that!!
Love from India 💐🇮🇳
Hi!!!! Bonito video.... Pero yo prefiero ir con equipaje de bodega de 23 kilos que llevar tanto bolso.... Saludos y besos mágicos.
This seems miserable. Why not just bring a checked in bag of appropriate size
I wish you had shown your outfits.
Ill do a whole video of what I wore! Also posted a ton on my IG with links
i think if you folded your clothes instead of rolling it would have been easier to close . sorry that your bag ripped.
😘🍄
The way all your clothes are the same colour lol
Looked like alot of stuff
I do love some of the gadgets though :)
Hi how you Indonesia Romi 💘🇮🇩
only a carry-on... and a ginormous bag 🙄 if you say a carry-on, i expect a carry-on and NOTHING else
I can tell you never traveled before, this is way too much, over packing, for just in case , please never do this , I just can't believe you use all that!! My advice for anyone traveling for more than a week is do the opposite of this video. I go to Europe every year and I literally pack everything I need in a weekend bag, if I need something I just buy it during my shopping sprees.
I’ve travelled a ton! lol but it’s okay everyone has their own method. I went for two weeks and was so happy I took the options I did!
Trust me, this bag is a steal at this price #luxurydiscountcompany
