- Path of Titans finally gave a few of their older dinosaurs some glow ups, and Ceratosaurus was among those few. In this video, we begin our Cerato's journey, and meet up with both friends and foes along the way. Also, we exposed a groomer, so that's cool, too.

The reason for the refresh cool down is something that happens in all games. If a server goes down, crashes for any reason or there's an update. Players immediately flock to the to their servers. Even if it looks minor, players are creating small pings to the server each time the server viewer is looked at, and if too many people do it, it creates a miniature DDOs attack. Happens with bigger games too. You have so many people going to their website, forums, and in-game and what not and it bogs the system down. Adding just a few seconds to refresh helps slow that slightly. Sucks for the very slight inconvenience lol
Yep this is true, In DCS if people try to join a full severs it causes lag

That debuff is for sub-adults and adults and it decreases your speed. Mostly used to make sure salty players don’t Dino hop and revenge kill. I find it a little annoying. Also Ice Age references are always a W

As a fan at home, I surely got a kick out of watching a man on the internet violently left click for nearly two minutes straight while strafing back and forth to avoid a dilo's bite hitboxes.

A para mod is out if you ever want to give it a shot, it's pretty strong as a solo triple defense, strong enough to kill a rex or giga (++defense and defense hide)

As a PoT player who’s played this game for years, I HATE the 10 second refresh server, and I hate the “wait 5 seconds to delete a character”
But then again people were also accidentally deleting their characters before the 5 second delete thing… idk how but it happened

PoT seems to be doing an overhaul of sorts bit by bit. I like PoT simply because it's one of the best looking dino "sim" games. The Isle does still hold the title of best graphics but I simply can't play it at all. I'm rooting for PoT and just hope TI will be playable...for everyone. The lag is horrendous in that game. BoB is cool too in its own way. It's so goofy.

@@foxlover208 For real actually. Compared to TI and PoT I can literally play BoB with few problems and I get little to no crashes. BoB is also doing more too. I just got done watching a video of them showcasing their new ptera remodel and animation. It's a silly game but it's rolling just like PoT is. All in my opinion of course.

I like this game, but DAMN. For a pvp centered game their pvp needs work. It's so hard to hit abilities. And everything feels like they deal no damage at all. Aughh, Me on my way to survive a tyranossaur's bite as a tiny raptor taking only 10% of my hp bar as damage :D
i understand you werent making fun of it but when people complain about beast of bermuda's combat being unrealistic, and then the meta strat of path of titans is to press your ass up against an argent's foot and tail wag to victory LOL though recent updates made it less intolerable, i always hated combat in path of titans. it always feels so goofy

idk why people complain about para running from an allo, it makes sense. Idk what makes people think it'd stand and fight one, it'd just get killed.
Why yes the 4 ton+ GigaHadrosaur would surely lose to a predator that is almost half it's size that is not nearly as equipped to tackle fast moving and relatively flexible large targets as the modern day big cats who still often fail with such hunts, especially by themselves. One shove would definitely not send it onto its ass where it'd get crushed to death
Ahh yes, because a 4.5 metre tall, 4 ton absolute beast of a hadrosaur that was known to stand up to carnivores larger than itself would get absolutely bodied by a 2 ton mid tier theropod. Yeaaaaa, no

No a little shove isn't going to put it on it's ass any more than a zebra running into a full grown male lion... and don't be dense and bring up kicking because that's a completely different attack that a para doesn't have.
In reality an allo would run up along side it, dig it's claws in and maybe bite off a chunk and run off.
Para doesn't really have any weapons, it's really only got the fact that it's heavier and taller when standing on its hind legs. How does that help defend from the claws or teeth? How does that help it do damage? Other than your nonsense idea that it could just simply knock it over (even though it's coming from behind) and just step on it. An allo is faster, more agile, and actually has weapons to bleed it out. That's why it would make sense for it to want to run away instead of stick around and try to fight...

Predators are notorious for killing prey bigger than themselves, especially ones that have no fucking defenses or weapons on them lol.
It's flesh isn't tough to pierce and would get cut up easily from an allos claws or teeth. Then it just bleeds out. It isn't agile enough or fast enough to keep up with the allo and can't do the same damage. It really has no options to fight it other than trying to knock it over and stomp on it which being twice it's size isn't going to happen with a single stomp either way. If it was a shant or barsboldia or something like that you guys would have a point but it's really not a big size difference when you look at them side by side. The para is mostly just thicker and has a longer body. It still has no answer for those long arms with claws or the big mouth full of teeth....

You know that significant damage has to be done to prey in most situations for bleeding out to be viable right? Something that wouldn't be done to the Para without its much more impressive mass shoving the Allo out the way or knocking it over. I don't care if you have big teeth or claws, you're still susceptible to being manhandled.
Do you even know how big Para can get or how big the one in The Isle is likely to be? 4 tons is being generous and it'd still probably beat an Allos ass and yet they can even grow to up to 12 as we currently estimate. What makes you think that a Para can't kick/smack something with its arms/legs? Where did you get such information? Did you make it up? Please tell me what stops a Para from bludgeoning, biting, kicking or charging/trampling an Allo to knock it over.
Your zebra comparison is flawed as I don't believe they've ever been documented to try that. They opt to run but if they stand and fight they usually fend off lone lions. If zebras did do that I would guarantee it'd work a lot of the time, and it is known that one good kick from a zebra is able to render a lion unconscious or dead. Do you also think that if a moose didn't have horns a wolf would kill it? You came up for a completely one sided situation where the Para apparently doesn't know how to turn around or kick with its back legs which it could also probably do and chose the winner off of that
