Its funny how Isle players hate the PoT calls and the PoT players hate the Isle calls. Maybe its because the Isle is Jurassic Park, and PoT is like a dinosaur documentary.

The thing I just really dislike about PoT is how the sounds for the dinosaurs are all way too similar. To me, they just all seem like the exact same sound and it's super sad in my opinion
Not only that they are way too quiet. Like Lambeo has really quiet calls when we know hadrosaurus like it where pretty loud animals.

Personally I'm quite conflicted because on the one hand I'm a sucker for realism and scientific accuracy and love the PoT calls on their own but at the same time they just don't work for a game like that, it's simply not good game design. Meanwhile TI calls are cool but a bit too sci-fi, although they are wonderful in terms of game design, all calls of all dinos are instantly recognizable, you can hear a fain sount from afar and just know it's a carno 2 call.
When Pesky becomes the murder turkey,it's just so funny and that's why i sub to his channel,since he's so funny.

Don't hate on the game's dinosaur sounds, they're meant to sound more realistic like actually animals, not huge, monstrous roars like in Jurassic Park/Jurassic World which are theme park monsters.
Nah they all sound too similar in my opinion.

Yo Pesky, I know I already said this but if you happen to read this, and who ever else is scrolling by, I recommend checking out The Depths: Prehistoric Survival. It's another dino sim, I know, though it's planned out more as a traditional MMO, 500 players on game ran servers with missing players filled in with AI. The Devs have been extremely forthright in showing off their progress, answering just about every question asked so far. The official servers are planned only to have no mix packing rules, and a few others, but nothing like Body Down, so you'll be able to cause all the carnage you'd like.
The fact that they removed shoni from the roster because they said it'd rely too much on abilities(when they also said abilities would be a big part of the game) leaves a sour taste in my mouth ala "Anky is a bad animal" imo. Also,Robert Fabiani works on the game,he's one of the guys who worked on Mesozoica too

I'm also a backer for Star Citizen and it's always an smh moment when someone complains that they don't have X feature...but it's on the list. It's not like you're suggesting something groundbreaking if it's already on the list of things to do.
As far as the collect quests, if you know where the items are, they're pretty quick. My issue is that the skins you unlock don't save yet. I thought 5hey were a great reward for people playing early...until I was back to default when next patch came out.

There are so many ideas and passion for survival dino games and Path of Titans looks like its going in the right path, but if it wasnt for the commentary and playing with someone in this video it would have been boring as hell, they need to add small AI creatures all over, its like youre running on a deserted land
i think path of titans is neat but i kinda worry about it. I see no goal in the game apart from go around and collect shit and maybe swim around if your a semi aquatic. I really do not like the combat, as it just feels like legacy isle's stuff, and maybe slightly worse with the cooldown. And yeah its just a demo now and all but its been going on 2 years now and i dont see much to show for the damn near 1 million bucks put into this game.
I do hope it succeeds but idk, i feel like it might suffer the same fate as a lot of other dino survivals and be the classic walking simulator.
The whole development thing could be said for the Isle too though. Several years and not much has been done, especially not in terms of humans.
But I feel like PoT is making progress. The main problem I see is that it needs better quests. I don’t want to go around collecting 50 acorns, even if I know where they are.
I hope PoT will get better when they add growth and stuff like that. Maybe it’ll give you more of a goal.
