      Also schizophrenic here, so glad to be seeing this shined on in a positive light. Metal music has helped me with my issues regarding schizophrenia so much. Wish more people were aware of what it actually is. I feel even the word schizophrenia itself is given such a bad wrap.

I had to listen again and it just hurt in the stomach. Christ, that changed everything, will probably never be able to listen to that again.
    Awesome thing to do to open the eyes for the sickness tho. 👏🏻

    I really needed this episode. I just experienced my first psychotic episode and it was scary. I'm so ashamed and have so much guilt and anxiety. Needed something brutal and enlightening and this was exactly what I needed. This is day one of my recovery. Thanks so much Garza. I hope I can heal and be ok. Much love 💕

    • @COLMUSIC603
      @COLMUSIC603 Год назад +7

      They're so scary my friend. I know exactly the thoughts and fear that goes through the mind during these episodes (I was the one they were referring to about 666)
      If it ever happens again, and you're in your home (don't do this in public) you can always utilize your phone camera. If you're having visual hallucinations and you're having trouble telling if it's real or not, take a photo. If it's a hallucination, you won't see it on the screen. I hope that helps a little bit.
      If you're hearing auditory hallucinations, for me personally, white noise or "background music" isn't very helpful. Find a song or podcast that's engaging and forces you to focus on the intricacies and details.
      Delusions and paranoia are a little more difficult because some people genuinely can't control them, but if you feel even a sliver of self control, constant reminders that you are safe and in control will help you. Even saying it out loud. I've been going to therapy for this stuff since I was a kid, I'm a rare case where I've been experiencing this at a young age. Please don't feel nervous to reach out on Instagram (colmusic). Be safe.

But still i am glad, mine not even that big of problem, like others who has stronger psychosis than i do. I may be seen too emotionless but it's mainly stoic and I think that is the way it should be regarding the whole modern fab to be "struggling with mental health.." Everyone has emotional turbulence and nowadays being sad is called being depressed, being nervous is called anxiety... The real depression and anxiety is way more severe but everyone want's to be a martyr... I'm not talking about schizo guy but overall trend.

We have a radical conservative problem here in America here too and the most cringe thing about it is in America, alot of these types are the way they are but meanwhile, they were born in a silver spoon in their mouth.

How cool is this interview man. I first heard "No Room Left in Hell" and since then I cannot stop listening to these dudes.
