Idk how much yarn you will need but i needed 2 and a half 50g cotton balls for the back panel, im not finished with the front parts yet

Hi! I want to try and do this for myself but I wanted to ask (if you know) if its possible to do it without crocheting every panel apart from each other and instead do a single big panel to cover the back and the front? Because it will be open in the front anyway and I don't like the idea of so many pieces to secure together 🤣 I thought that maybe I could do everything at once and when I'm approaching the sleeves I'll have to work the panels separately, but I'm not sure if it could work, because I just started crocheting and I don't know much about it ahahha

@@kimberleyjane2338 you don’t even need to increase for long sleeves since you do the sleeves alone and then attach them. Don't get disheartened, the great thing about crochet is you can undo it and do it again. The amount of times I've done that ! But up until 6/7 years ago i couldnt crochet, I'd tried to all my life! Then one day I had a spare afternoon, so I sat down and thought, 'I'm going to learn how to crochet ', and sat and watched RUclips tutorials over and over until I got it! I rewound parts, slowed down videos, but some teachers out there are great and go over how to do something really slowly and will repeat it several times ..the magic circle was one thing I struggled with, but with perseverance I got there.. for me initially it was how to hold the yarn and hook to get the right tension, that had me in tears! And not the laughing kind!! Start off with small swatches and practise different stitches, and increasing and decreasing, I often pause videos as I watch them, as a lot of people doing this kind of intermediate project, don't realise they are going just a little too fast for us beginners... I'm now moving on to more finer yarns like cotton's, before I'd just make baby blankets and clothes for my granddaughter. But im loving these polo tops and shirts! Take your time, slow things down, and relax, if you cant get it done by next week or next month, there's always the one after 😊. Good luck, youll get there!
