i just finished it and I'm so so happy with how it turned out!! Instead of tying the sides together i made the top a bit wider so I could sew them and it looks adorable!!
It's the first crochet top I finish that actually fits me right so I'm kinda proud of myself 🤭
just finished this one, my first eve top and i love it!! i also instead of what she did on the sides, i tied it kind of like a shoelace to adjust the sizes, and it looks amazing😄
I would say I am still a beginner as I rely on tutorials for most projects and I've made a lot of things so far and this is one of the easiest tutorials I have followed and just an easy pattern in general I was so happy to finish as fast as I did I am so excited to wear it for spring and summer now!

hey this is also my first major beginner project. how do you tie the sides together? i’m really confused because neither the video or the pattern says what to do and saying “just tie it” is kind of vague

such an awesome and easy to follow pattern! i altered it a little bit by adding an extra row to the humps of the heart and i made side panels for the vest, and your instructions were so helpful. i hope to make this pattern with different designs filled in :3

Hey is there a way i could make this into a short sleeved shirt??? Like how would i add short sleeves, im looking to make the shirt a bit more school appropriate!
@@cvitapina2530 hey, i would follow the pattern how she does it, but add more rounds around the sleeves in a circle pattern if that makes sense, so just the exact same thing coming out of the existing sleeves

Just used this pattern to make a top for a concert! Was super easy to follow even made my own adjustments to make it a full mesh top all around, with an asymmetrical single strap look. ❤

This was such a good tutorial thank you! For the joining up bit what I did was chain quite a lot and I attached the panels by weaving the chain in a zig zag patten and tying a bow at the bottom and it looks really cute! I’d recommend doing that

This is the second crochet project I’ve made, and honestly it is pretty good, i just did it a bit too small for me and the yarn wasn’t the best for this project, but thank you because your video is really easy to understand !

Starting this as my second crochet project, following it the first time with cotton yarn and following the pattern, but, i have some fluffy yarn left from my first project that would be SO CUTE as one of these tops. My question is, does anybody have any advice for turning this into a long sleeved top? Amazing tutorial by the way, so clear, easy to follow, and absolutely adorable! 🤍

I made this! I liked following your written pattern! Instead of ties, I made a really long chain and used that to corset the sides together. Soo super duper cute!! I love it

I love the idea and it seems super easy to follow, but I wear M/L/XL tops typically and unfortunately even with the sizing up tips it still wouldn't fit comfortably : ( I chained 104 for the front panel, but idk how I'd do the heart then without it looking awkward
If ur chaining 104 just try doubling the pattern instead that might help bc that will double the size of the heart too🥰
I increased the measurements for mine also. I learned that it needs to end in either a 6 or 3. For example mine is 66 chains so then the boxes are even and have two skips in between without any chains left over on the ends. And I just kept the heart the same size.
