    You do an egr delete because in states that don't have emissions testing you're removing this which in turn makes the dirty running disi a bit cleaner internally with less build up in the intake system. Anyone who has ever seen inside knows they're dirty enough without the egr adding more crap

  • @northvalleylocksmith640

    EGR Vale actually is there to lower temps in combustion chambers while keeping emissions in check. If you remove your EGR valve our engine temp will go up which is a bad thing. Yes you will prevent carbon build up by using a delete kit. But it's easy to prevent carbon build up with good engine maintenance.

    • @morganhutchens1803
      @morganhutchens1803 4 года назад +11

      WHAT?! EGR delete dramatically lowers intake temps. Lol you’re not pumping hot exhaust fumes into your intake manifold anymore.

      @dollardavekamber 4 года назад +3

      Morgan Hutchens LoL 😂 Nope . A lot more money in access control and commercial locksmithing. You need to read up on this subject. You actually will increase your combustion chamber temps by deleting the EGR. When you keep the EGR it is cooled before it goes into the combustion chamber with almost 0 oxygen. But you do you. And I will stick with what the engineers provided for the engine. A lot of Bolt on crap is just that. Crap.

    • @morganhutchens1803
      @morganhutchens1803 4 года назад +3

      It’s only for emissions control. It sends the exhaust fumes back through to burn up more of the toxic gasses before letting them leave the combustion cycle. It has nothing to do with performance, besides being a hinderance. Deleting it will also help keep your intake manifold cleaner.

      dimitris B Karhan getting rid is not a bad thing. Cleans up air going in combustion chamber. Reduces pinging at high boost and timing. To get rid you need a delete kit and a catch can for the vapor which will need to be drained of oil every so often

      Audio6195 Stage One is just a SRI/TIP an AccessPort and a RMM right? In which case all those parts will bolt up.
      However...
      I would just buy an HTP intake. It's a solid metal pipe which includes an integrated TIP.
      I'd buy the AccessPort second hand from the Mazdaspeed Owners Group on Facebook, there's tons.
      As for the RMM it's dealers choice I have a CP-E stage two and love it.
      (For your awareness if you buy an intake anything over 2.65" will require a MAF calibration so your engine knows to accommodate for excess air. Otherwise you'll throw a CEL and your car will run like crap, if you're going to go big turbo eventually though I'd suggest a 3" or larger and just get an E-tune from PurpleDrank or Freektune as the COBB OTS tunes aren't that great anyway)

    So short answer is, engine run cleaner, less carbon so why are engines running EGR.

    • @Retartedstoner
      @Retartedstoner 5 лет назад +1

      recirculating exhaust gas causes the combustion chamber to burn at a lower temperature. This in turn creates less nitrous oxide emissions. The government requires most cars to have these to pass emissions where required.
      Cameron could have just unplugged the egr and it would have stayed closed permanently. It only opens when the engine is warm. If you want to block off EGR save yourself some time and money for them fancy bungs and just unplug the thing lol.

    • @LancerXDS

    Depending on how much computer shit your engine runs you may or may not need a remap for this to work properly! On my Peugeot 207gti just doing this alone has fault codes running riot, affects idle and power. [this from a friends]. Ime waiting till I get a bigger intercooler and a power up remap then it will just be a minor bit of extra mapping. On direct injection engines this piece of shit equipment really fucks up the inlets, so it has to go:/ For all those who will say it will be polluting more, you are correct, BUT, its waaaay too late to be worrying about that now:/ Too little too late would be the understatement of the century. We are waaay past the tipping point and there is no fixing things now:/ All we can do is slow the inevitable just a little:/
