I just bought my dream car! A 2012 Mazdaspeed3 in black ! I have wanted one since the 8th grade, took me until 31 years old to be able to justify one! All stock, 92k miles, i have been watching all your videos! thanks for the content! I especially like when you met that guy with the white rally Mazdaspeed and rebuilt it ! so cool!
Just got a speed 3 not too long ago, turbo is going out, got CST 4 turbo to swap and came across this video. Love the title because it's my first speed3 and I am a dummie about them so awesome video man
so i have owned a 2007,2011 and a 2013 MS3 and by far do i love the gen 2 speed more. iv done a lot to it i can hardly keep up! very well layed out video! love the content!
subbed. so happy that now there are so much more stuff out explaining what to do with these cars. when i had my first speed i blew it up and did not know any better.. now looking stuff up i see exactly what to do thanks to people like you.. keep up the great work dude. mazdaspeed6 owner here
So funny how finding these little turbo hatchbacks recently amd hopefully buying one tomorrow or the next day if u find the right deal.. But gotta love the massive amount of info on the net for us gear heads!!
So glad you made this video man, just got a 2010 Speed3 a few months ago and really want to get to modifying right away but have no clue how or what to do! This video definitely helped out a ton, thanks for the help!
I just got my atp catless dp, and 3.5 inch intake. getting installed in roughly 13 hours. super stoked to hear it. currently tuned on 20psi on stock ko4 by Will himself at Purple Drank! Goodluck with the car brotha!
1st power mod... COBB ACCESSPORT period... then internals then intake exhaust ect ect. you won't get the full benifit of any power mods until you get an accessport.
Hey guys, I'm not a MS3 owner but I have a turbo car as well. I was like Cam describe wanting that woosh sound but it doesn't sound like its recommended to go that route. Recently shelled out some big money for coilovers and installed them. The shop also does tunes but strangers on the internet seem more helpful than the shop is who claim big horse power from no preventative mods. The guys just said yeah your motor can handle a 50% increase in power from just the tune and CAI. Like I'm completely unaware while they had cars in their shops with blown motors presumably from their tunes. Regarding the Cobb device, it isn't available for my car but doesn't an OBDII device with Torque (Android app) do the same thing? It has a lot of monitors in that app.
You are my freaking hero! I have a 2012 2.5, and will be getting a sp3 sometime soon, as the 2.5 is not so friendly when it comes to modding , specifically slapping a turbo in it, new Ecu with wakey tunes, new injectors, high flow pumps.. Bla blah blah, not passing the Ontario clean drive test... Ugh...it goes on , so i really want a sp3 for a better "modding experience" , I will be watching all your videos! Keep it up! So pumped
Keep up the great work! I picked up a 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 a few months ago, upgrading from a 2005 Mazda 3. I really enjoy your content and keeping up with your Mazdaspeed 3. Thanks!
I agree with almost everything! I wouldn't get a bpv if your on a budget unless your stocker is leaking, but they're usually good up to 21psi. And if I had to buy an intake again, I would just go straight to a 3-3.5" intake. Wish I'd have done that from the start. -_- Love the video quality man, keep it up! Representing us speed owners!
Dude I just got my first mazda speed 3 with 14k miles used yesterday. No mods. Just sick stock virgin. Absolutely beautiful car. I will mod it after awhile just not at the moment
I just recently got a 2010 Celestial Blue MS3 and didn't know what mods to starts with, so thank you for making this video! Also even at 1k subscribers your channel and video quality is so much higher than others out there, I think that's what makes you stand out and grow so quickly
Don’t know if you’re still around. Just purchased a 2013 speed3. Gotta say so far I love it and your videos are an excellent reference for mods and upgrades
Recently got t-boned by a police officer in my 2005 Mazda 3 sedan. Next car is a 2012 ms3 and I can't wait. Love your videos bro you just earned a subscriber !🙏🏻
whats going on man, just came across your channel in search of mazdaspeed 3 content as im interested in purchasing one myself and found your videos to be extremely helpful.
the names steven lol i have a 2010 ms3 i got cpe top mount hpfp 3 inch all the way back turbo inlet pipe and intake with a dyno tune making 315 whp from freektune and getting a bigger turbo and front mount very soon and i love them because where im from no one has them they all have wrx and gti's that i roast lol love seeing there shocked face when they think its just a ms3 love the channel and i watch ever time you come out with a new video
Love the vid. I just got my gen 2 ms3. I traded in my gen 1 for it. But I didn't know where to start and this vid definitely helped. Just a question though. On a scale of 1-10, how difficult was the installation process for the hpfp ? I already got my res delete. It was the first thing I did lol.
Good video, BUT, first thing to do with a new to you car is FULLY SERVICING IT!! going over everything, under hood and under car, grease everything, change fluids etc etc!! Mod wise, better intake and exhaust are usually good, and definitely fine tuning at the very least, tightening blow off valve spring if able, and silicone hoses, better intercooler if driving hard, and of course either get it tuned or get an axcessport with whatever tune you need, etc..
Elaborating more on the vta or recirc topic. The reason to run recirculated is because the MAF meters the air entering the engine. The pressurized air thats still in the charge pipes was still metered. If you let it vent to the atmosphere, the engine reads a lean condition due to letting the air go rather than keeping it in the system. In turn, the ecu dumps in fuel making the car run rich between shifts to compensate for the missing air.
Hey bro much love from Canada! Ive got a first gen ms3 2008.5 and im loving your videos so far! Can't wait to see where the channel goes in the future. pce homie
Yo I got a 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 and I live here in SD!!! I am apart of California Mazdaspeeds we are a group with 623 people! If you wanna know more about the group hit me up on face book we are all super chill we buy/sell parts, throw kick backs, cruises, install nights and car events. Any thing need to know about a mazdas we know, We welcome anyone from stock to fully built crazy maniacs! Lets meet up and kick it sometime, great video also!
Thanks for this video ! I am considering buying a 2008 mazdaspeed 3 but we will see if I decide to.. I will for sure get the resonator delete if I do buy it right away, I am a full time student as well and this I would be a nice little daily with a little sound to it...thanks for the tips Cameron! :)
RMM yes. Passanger motor mount yes and no depends on what your goals are with the mount you get transmission whined sounds like another muffler in front of the car to me. trans mount will make it even louder. Just replace your old mount with a new one or if you don't mind having a loud sound from the front of the car then try a aftermarket mount. Lowering/good shocks/good tires helps alot with traction also. Warm the car up before you get on it! Take care of it and it will take care of you no need to WOT everywhere you go. Engines are not cheap.
Hey great video man. Being a fairly new MS3 owner, I love your MS3 videos. I recently installed a K&N intake, corksport non-resonated exhaust and Turbosmart 50/50. What is your take on the turbosmart 50/50 since it is half VTA and half BPV?
Love your videos bro! I've had my gen1 speed3 for about 4 months now I got it completely stock and am slowly starting to do mods to it. So far just done lowering, wheels, and a Corksport SRI+TIP. This video definitely helped me get ideas on future mods for my speed3
So this video is old but I need help with my Mazdaspeed 3 I replace the alternator 2 time and the battery light is on still it goes off for like a day and then I got another one and same thing
have you cleaned the carbon in your intake manifold and valves yet? you should look into doing that crappy job but it has to be done on these direct injection engines an egr delete and adding a catch can will help with build up. keep up the great vids man.
The stock bypass valve isn't necessary to upgrade until it starts leaking or breaks. With buying the aftermarket one you just add a new part that needs maintenance. Only reason to change it would be for looks or the sound really.
Hey dude i just want to say your vids are awesome dude. Keep up the great work man. Youve also made me want to get a speed3 haha. Hopefully insurance isnt has bad as the suby lol. Much love from salt lake man.
Hey Cam, great video! Lots of helpful info for a newbie looking to mod (me). When you say res delete, do you mean a total res delete (all 3) or just the straight section between the cats? Looking for the nastiest growl I can get. Thanks man!
Yo yeah man love the speed three 2012. Just done a few mods but u know hard to save cash. especially in canada hard to ship parts, duty delivery blah b blah,!! just love the car!
Its crazy how you know Tune by Nishan. He's from jersey and I've seen his car in person at car meets. Straight monster and I'm going to him to get my dyno tune.
if I have a high flow cat already on my ms3 and I have the fuel internals, intake and bypass valve and accesport do I need to retune again after every new part I put on? or can I throw all the parts on at once and do a tune straight out?
Upgraded from my eclipse and Bought a speed6 after I kids for a good "family car". God, I wish I had this car before kids when I had money. I'd love to mod it to your list. Maybe someday..
this video helped. i just bought my speed 3 a month ago and so far so good. i got the car with an intake so do you recommend the hpfp internals before i go forward?
I have a 2010 MS3 and I got the resonator delete and the JBR 88a RMM, and now I'm saving up for the Accessport (won't run tunes yet, I'm getting it for the launch control), then I'm going to get the HPFP internals, then intake and TIP, then downpipe. The terrible thing though is I live in Canada, so the HPFP internals are almost $600, the Accessport is almost $900, etc. I also just bought Evo X BBS wheels and tires today so I have another 20mm of tire and 1inch width of rim. As long as I don't lower it, 245s don't rub, which is nice.
Hi great video I have a UK Mazda 3 Mps just fitted cruise control as in the U.K. it didn't come standard on the Mk1 mps some great tips thanks for sharing!
I have a Mazdaspeed6, which I believe is pretty much identical to the MS3 mechanically speaking (save for the AWD). Right now I have an Accessport OTS Stage 1+ map with a SRI and turbo inlet pipe and a BPV, with stock HPFP internals. So far I haven't had any trouble, though I do plan on replacing those in the near future. What would you suggest should come next? (I don't want to go EXTRA LOUD, though.)
Hey great jobs on the vids man, keep it up! And I'm also 20 with a 2012 speed3 same color as yours haha it's my first turbo car and this vid helped just out of curiosity what miles does your odometer say mine is at 54k mine is almost stock with the exception of a magnaflow cat back. I can't wait to get mine back, I was driving home from work at 2am and a deer jumped into me, so she's being pampered and patched up in the body shop. So glad they didn't total her, wish I could put pics on here for you to see haha sorry this comment was so long!
Names Sean Finch. I am picking up an 08 Mazdaspeed 3 tomorrow. Not sure if it's a good buy or not. Please tell me what to change or look at when I first get it. Thanks! Keep up the good content.
Make sure oil was changed regularly 5k miles at least per change. Check the timing chain (quick check stick your finger in the oil tank and feel how tight the chain is) if loose it will need to be changed. Check all fluids of course. And try to look for any leaks splatter in the engine bay or leaks under the car (if you can).
Cameron. We picked up a 2008 speed 3 with a CAI. What's the easiest way to change the air filter? Under the wheel well tire removed or take off the front bumper? Thanks in advance
I think its a good first car no doubt. Just have $700 on hand every 25-30k miles for new tires and $60 for oil and a filter every 5k miles at the minimum for expenses!
Sup good video got a crystal white pearl 08 speed just started to modify so far mods are, autotech hpfp, htp 3" turbo inlet , cobb short ram intake, ap v3,turbosmart dual port, resonator delete, and cat delete. Looking foward to get an exhaust ,and fmic. Thanks for the tutorials .
I really like your videos bro.. I learn something new every time!! I just bought an 09 gen1 mazdaspeed 3 & wanted to ask if you would recommend the same tips for mine
i got the rear motor mount and the transmission motor mount first. transmission mount was great. kinda freaked me out at first because i could hear all the weird little noises that the transmission makes but after a while you get used to it. who are you going to go with for the tune? im currently getting tuned by DizzyTuning.
you should get a short shifter. the short shifter plate is whatevers short shifter short shifter plate bushings you be good to go. feels like a video game.
Good videos for people looking to get into speeds, but gotta get the modding order correct for safety sake. Before you do anything, first power mod should be a Cobb AP, and the mandatory reliability mod would be fuel pump internals. Basically any power mod needs a Cobb AP, for example a common beginner mod would be an intake, and most aftermarket intakes and inlet pipes use a larger diameter than stock, thus you'll have a higher risk of blowing the engine due to running it lean. Additionally, it is also better to go with companies that offer a OTS map with their mods to load on your vehicle if you are not planning to get a custom tune any time soon.
@@TysonJ-gk6mu Not necessarily, in theory as long as the map and vehicle config is stock or equivalent then you should be safe. But in reality it may be a roll of the dice thing, as there is still the possibility some cars have pressure dips under wot even while stock, especially with growing age, and it would be hard to tell without monitoring/datalogging. At this point in time, as a general rule of thumb I would take the HPFP internal upgrade as a prerequisite whether you are planning to mod it or not just to be on the safe side.
What bout a normal mazda 3 cause i just got a 2012 swroes 2 mazda 3 neo 2.0 litre and im thinking of doing some simple upgrades but im not super sure what'd work
I was actually going to buy the Stage 1 and Stage 2 plus the Turbo Upgrade from Corksport it has pretty much everything you said would you recommend buying anything else aside from everything that include the Corksport Stages?
Just now watching this. I just got a 2005 Mazda 3 hatch and the number one problem I’m having is the freaking timing chain do you know of anything I can do
Don't even own a MS3 (here in UK it's mazda3 MPS) But still love your vids, production is on point. I'd like a 3 at some point but even at 21 nearly 22, insurance here fucks you
What oil do you run on yours? Semi-synthetic? Full synthetic? In addition, I’m about to purchase an ETS Top mount intercooler. For me, i just dont feel a front mount isn’t worth the money nor time especially if you’re not planning on pushing serious power > 450whp
Dunno if you still reply, but got my ms3 and its completely stock. If i just wanted to get a short ram intake would i need to get hpfp internals? i would obv get if i continue modding but just for sri is it needed?
Where were you when I had my True Red '08 Speed 3 from 2008 - 2015? I had no idea what mods were available so I contacted a local speed shop and they wouldn't give me the time of day! I ended up with a dealer-installed cold air intake and, after it was installed, they warned me against driving through any standing water in the street as the intake inlet is only about 7 - 8 inches above the pavement (living in Tampa FL guarantees you will end up in standing water sooner or later). I probably came extremely close to blowing my engine when I was forced through standing water in a busy intersection after a cloud burst. Fortunately I was able to quickly pull over (coasting) and crank the engine to blow out the ingested water. Miraculously it started afterward without engine damage but the turbo's life was compromised and had to be replaced a couple years later. I now have a 2016 Golf R purchased from a dealer with its own tuner shop so the R is now APR Stage 2 with just under 400 HP. I still have many fond memories of my Speed 3 having owned it for 7 1/2 years and nearly 130K mi. Knowing what I know now, I could have modded it much more and gotten even more fun out of it.
hey Cameron, just a question mate. Do you have any idea why peoples first 3 mods are downpipe, fuel pump upgrade and a custome tune? Because im actually considering following that footpath. Thanks mate👍
Fuel pump internals because the car will run lean without them. Downpipe because the car sounds a heck of a lot better and the flow is much much better and makes more power. Custom tune so your motor runs just right and you get the most reliable power.
Aki Padre Hey man, Cameron's pretty much spot on with the path you should take. If money is the issue just start out with the access port then high pressure fuel pump. Then whenever you get the downpipe you can just switch the tune. I would highly recommend a rear motor mount be high on the list! Any other questions let me know! Best of luck!
marc reynolds yeah, ive gone for a custom tune. Then at one hit once ive saved enough money ill throw in a sri, tip, dp, fuel pump and get it retune. People reckons just a tune, you will be amazed the difference in power?
Hey my dude love the videos ! I thought our community of Ms3 was all but extinct at times! Keep it up ! Quick one for you & all Corksport stage 1 power Short Ram intake is advertised as not throwing a CEL true? Perhaps because it's dry flow? Help a brother out ! Peace !!!

I agree with almost everything! I wouldn't get a bpv if your on a budget unless your stocker is leaking, but they're usually good up to 21psi. And if I had to buy an intake again, I would just go straight to a 3-3.5" intake. Wish I'd have done that from the start. -_-
Love the video quality man, keep it up! Representing us speed owners!
+alden regimbal thanks Alden!
I'm about to pull the trigger on a 13 MS3 and I am so excited. This video was so helpful!
Dude I just got my first mazda speed 3 with 14k miles used yesterday. No mods. Just sick stock virgin. Absolutely beautiful car. I will mod it after awhile just not at the moment
Jamie Simpson for how much and where im trynna find one
Sajead Awad I just looked on autotrader.com and car gurus app across the United States. I got it for 18k
Oh nice congrats and thanks for responding so fast

you went from 1k subs to 278k in 6 years? thats amazing good job!
Don’t know if you’re still around. Just purchased a 2013 speed3. Gotta say so far I love it and your videos are an excellent reference for mods and upgrades
Did you mod it yet?
Not yet. Other things have happened since posting. But looking into some mods from corksport.
Jeremy Heyne would it be a downgrade if I traded my 05 Infiniti g35 coupe in for it?
I don’t think so. I got my 2013 speed3 with 52k for 13.5k. Haven’t looked back. I love this car
I support the small man and the fellow ms3 community. keep it up homie, good shit!
Skyfarts, appreciate it dawg!
I just got a 2013 mazdaspeed3 same color as yours and your video really helped me get an idea of how to start moding my speed3 thanks Cameron
Heck yeah no problem!

Damn u grown a LOOOOT.. like 100k+ ... ur gonna grow bigger!! Keep it up

Good video, BUT, first thing to do with a new to you car is FULLY SERVICING IT!! going over everything, under hood and under car, grease everything, change fluids etc etc!!

Great video. Btw my fmic install went great. Today i put on my enkei rpf1's 17×9 on with some meaty 255/40/17 Hankook tires.
Thanks homie! Bet that looks nice!!
how is the grip?
my 255s still slip first and second gear
Fuong Wah the grip is great. It'll spin from time to time but not as bad as when it was on stock 225

Cameron you make awesome videos. Keep up the good work .
Channel has a lot of potential
+Yama Media thanks!
Love your videos bro! I've had my gen1 speed3 for about 4 months now I got it completely stock and am slowly starting to do mods to it. So far just done lowering, wheels, and a Corksport SRI+TIP. This video definitely helped me get ideas on future mods for my speed3
Hey David! Thanks for watching. Thats whats up. Bet it looks clean! Glad I could help.
The e85 tune is hella fun I am rocking that with a methane injection on my 08 and it puts me back in my seat every time
COOL I FOUND THIS CHANNEL I ALSO OWN A 2012 SPEED3 BOUGHT A YEAR AGO AND I TURNED 20 TWO WEEKS AGO HAD TO SUBSCRIBE AND DROP THAT LIKE
So this video is old but I need help with my Mazdaspeed 3 I replace the alternator 2 time and the battery light is on still it goes off for like a day and then I got another one and same thing
Been on the fence about subscribing to ya, I hate to admit. But you got my sub my mans. MS3 🤙
Im going to subscribe, this helps a lot thanks. I am trying to decide between the Focus ST or a Mazdaspeed3, but its sure a lot of help Thanks!!!
have you cleaned the carbon in your intake manifold and valves yet? you should look into doing that crappy job but it has to be done on these direct injection engines an egr delete and adding a catch can will help with build up. keep up the great vids man.
The stock bypass valve isn't necessary to upgrade until it starts leaking or breaks. With buying the aftermarket one you just add a new part that needs maintenance. Only reason to change it would be for looks or the sound really.
Agreed! As often as I hear it, it was worth it to me for the sound!
Bro thank you so much for this!!! Life saver man. I have a 2013 speed3
No problem dude!! Thanks for watching!
Hey dude i just want to say your vids are awesome dude. Keep up the great work man. Youve also made me want to get a speed3 haha. Hopefully insurance isnt has bad as the suby lol. Much love from salt lake man.
Malik! Thanks so much man, awesome to hear. It definitely won't be!
I'm about to buy a 2012 so this video is going to be very helpful! Thanks for the info man great video! maybe I'll see you around San Diego
Heck yeah if you ever see me for sure come say whats up! Good luck on getting one!
Real helpful advice thanks so much,I will take care of her a lot more now
Hey Cam, great video! Lots of helpful info for a newbie looking to mod (me). When you say res delete, do you mean a total res delete (all 3) or just the straight section between the cats? Looking for the nastiest growl I can get. Thanks man!
Keep the resonator on! Exhaust will already be loud with a catless downpipe! And don't mess with a bypass or BOV! Just get an aftermarket air intake!
Yo yeah man love the speed three 2012. Just done a few mods but u know hard to save cash. especially in canada hard to ship parts, duty delivery blah b blah,!! just love the car!
Thats rough but heck yeah me too. They're great!
Its crazy how you know Tune by Nishan. He's from jersey and I've seen his car in person at car meets. Straight monster and I'm going to him to get my dyno tune.
Sweet! and yeah my buddy Jeff told me about him.
if I have a high flow cat already on my ms3 and I have the fuel internals, intake and bypass valve and accesport do I need to retune again after every new part I put on? or can I throw all the parts on at once and do a tune straight out?
Upgraded from my eclipse and Bought a speed6 after I kids for a good "family car". God, I wish I had this car before kids when I had money. I'd love to mod it to your list. Maybe someday..
this video helped. i just bought my speed 3 a month ago and so far so good. i got the car with an intake so do you recommend the hpfp internals before i go forward?
+astablishment2697 yes 100%, until you get them baby the car and dot run it wide open at all. Thanks for watching!
Get n accessport first always first thing you should always do
I have a 2010 MS3 and I got the resonator delete and the JBR 88a RMM, and now I'm saving up for the Accessport (won't run tunes yet, I'm getting it for the launch control), then I'm going to get the HPFP internals, then intake and TIP, then downpipe.
+Goat good stuff, that's brutal that it costs that mug more. You have pictures of your build on insta?
Cameron Alford Yeah man, follow me @celestial_blue_mica
Hi great video I have a UK Mazda 3 Mps just fitted cruise control as in the U.K. it didn't come standard on the Mk1 mps some great tips thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
Dude your car is sick! How much have you spent on it so far? keep up the content bro
+jacob minshull probably 3-4k in mods I think?
I have a Mazdaspeed6, which I believe is pretty much identical to the MS3 mechanically speaking (save for the AWD). Right now I have an Accessport OTS Stage 1+ map with a SRI and turbo inlet pipe and a BPV, with stock HPFP internals. So far I haven't had any trouble, though I do plan on replacing those in the near future. What would you suggest should come next? (I don't want to go EXTRA LOUD, though.)
Internals for sure. It really makes a big difference on the top end.
Cameron Alford Yeah I'm definitely gonna do that. I meant after that. :p
Aw that blows Hunter :/ Sorry to hear that! I have 68k on mine. Glad the video could help! Good luck with the car!
Names Sean Finch. I am picking up an 08 Mazdaspeed 3 tomorrow. Not sure if it's a good buy or not. Please tell me what to change or look at when I first get it. Thanks! Keep up the good content.
Check out my buyers guide video! Good luck!
How's the torque steer on the speed 3? Is it bad? Do you get used to it?
Just found your channel! I’m in San Diego too! I’m looking into MS3, and a couple other cars but we should totally meet up once I found something!
What's up man, I'm Noah and I'm lookin to purchase a gen 2 speed 3 by next year, I have a 2005 2.3 S rn, love your videos!
+Adrellix Gaming hey Noah! I hope that works out for you! You'll love it
Cameron. We picked up a 2008 speed 3 with a CAI. What's the easiest way to change the air filter? Under the wheel well tire removed or take off the front bumper? Thanks in advance
Just bought a 2008 mazdaspeed 3 at 18 years old, Don’t plan on doing too much atm since I’ll be attending school but any advice?
Hey man I was wondering do you think it's a good first car cause this is what I'm leaning towards
I think its a good first car no doubt. Just have $700 on hand every 25-30k miles for new tires and $60 for oil and a filter every 5k miles at the minimum for expenses!
Is a bone stock Mazdaspeed 3 for 8k a good price?
from the u.s. or canada?
If there’s an intake would I need a acsess port because I know cars like earlier sti cars need a tune even with an intake and exaust
Hey Rolando, thats awesome! Thanks for watching!
Mine has a BOV and intake, no problems retuned I would suggest a Cobb tuning
I really like your videos bro.. I learn something new every time!! I just bought an 09 gen1 mazdaspeed 3 & wanted to ask if you would recommend the same tips for mine
+JimmyJ0314 that's awesome! Good to hear, thanks for watching them! Yeah the exhaust tips? 100% 2.5" to 4" is perfect
i got the rear motor mount and the transmission motor mount first. transmission mount was great.
kinda freaked me out at first because i could hear all the weird little noises that the transmission makes but after a while you get used to it. who are you going to go with for the tune? im currently getting tuned by DizzyTuning.
+Four Horsemen Milsim good to know. Thanks! For the tune I am not sure yet.
you should get a short shifter. the short shifter plate is whatevers
short shifter
short shifter plate
bushings
you be good to go. feels like a video game.
I definitely want to soon! I know what you mean by the shift plate being whatever, totally agree!
So do you have to get a better fuel pump to keep the engine reliable while running an intake?
@@TysonJ-gk6mu Not necessarily, in theory as long as the map and vehicle config is stock or equivalent then you should be safe. But in reality it may be a roll of the dice thing, as there is still the possibility some cars have pressure dips under wot even while stock, especially with growing age, and it would be hard to tell without monitoring/datalogging.
At this point in time, as a general rule of thumb I would take the HPFP internal upgrade as a prerequisite whether you are planning to mod it or not just to be on the safe side.
Well done man
What bout a normal mazda 3 cause i just got a 2012 swroes 2 mazda 3 neo 2.0 litre and im thinking of doing some simple upgrades but im not super sure what'd work
i love that intro lol
This is awesome thanks man ... can you please make a video on making a stanced speed 3
Thanks! I will if i go stanced one day!
I was actually going to buy the Stage 1 and Stage 2 plus the Turbo Upgrade from Corksport it has pretty much everything you said would you recommend buying anything else aside from everything that include the Corksport Stages?
Nope, just motor mounts for sure to make the ride smoother!
Awesome Thanks Man! Funny I'm watching your Jake Paul video right now! Awesome Channel man
Haha thats awesome. Thanks a ton! Have a good rest of your weekend!
Just now watching this. I just got a 2005 Mazda 3 hatch and the number one problem I’m having is the freaking timing chain do you know of anything I can do
Don't even own a MS3 (here in UK it's mazda3 MPS) But still love your vids, production is on point. I'd like a 3 at some point but even at 21 nearly 22, insurance here fucks you
Thanks a ton! Thats a bummer its more expensive. Best of luck!
If I run a straight pipe will it turn my? check engine light on
Thanks for the video!!!
Good stuff man!
+Andy Thorne thank you, Andy! Appreciate it
what catless downpipe are you running?
When should u change ur timing chain? Ive heard after 100k it starts acting up
It acts up depending how you drive the car and how well the car is maintained.
I’m torn between this car and a Lancer GTS. Which would you recommend? I want something that looks and sounds great
Speed3 all day no brainier they're such a better built car
Cameron Alford even used as a first car?? Probably with high mileage too. Something that looks good lowered and maybe stanced. Still the Speed3?
Cameron Alford ....is that a fair first 3 upgrade? or is there other mods that is a must before the 3 upgrade i mentioned?
Peace !!!
