I'm human and definitely make mistakes. When I've been editing for 4 days straight, my brain really starts to fry. Sorry that I messed up one of the lines. Hopefully, you can enjoy the rest of the video. I believe I was trying to say the sultan of swing... Either way, I got the line wrong.
Big fan Kurt new fan just subscribed. Hey did you ever think of doing the Hogan Family very underrated quality family show, it's on rewind by me. Sorry if you did already. Good wholesome show.
I was ten when my mom took me to see Sandlot. One of those movies that's instantly ingrained in your head and never leaves. Brings my youth back whenever I watch it. Very powerful. If only they still made movies this good.
This movie is a huge part of my childhood. Thank you for this video! The drugstore is sad to see slowly going away but its awesome to see the pool thriving!
One day I was at work, replacing the windows of the house mentioned at 14:02 and the area felt really familiar. I took a break and walked to the baseball field and instantly knew where I remembered it from. In fact, at the time, they still had part of the sign on the centerfield fence that says “Rose Park Boys”. The “boys” part had been taken down. The Sandlot crew handily beat the snobby Rose Park Boys.
I was born in 82 so late 80,s to early 90,s was my best child hood times i often think back n wish i could go back n do it all again i watched all the best movies ones that stand out are the lost boys, the exporers, licence to drive, teen wolf, weekend at bernies, fast getaway, silver bullet i just loved that era
It's too bad the Sandlot is so closed in and the owner doesn't like people seeing it up close. Such a classic film that was part of so many childhoods. If I owned that field, everyone would be welcome!
Awesome video. Definitely one of my all-time favorites. I remember when my friend got the vhs on release day and we watched it non-stop. Great memories
Adam The Woo was there at the house just weeks before you did this. The people that live in that house with the Bambino rock told him they were gonna be there for the reunion.
Love it. Childhood movie right there my pops loved watching it with me. Thanks for this and sucks you just missed the event they had watching the movie at the sandlot but you still got to experience some dope shit and helped us experience through you! Thank you mane 🙏
I’ve watched quite a few filming locations of the Sandlot but this is the most thorough one. Great job, Kurt! Cool that your family is involved in the process of making your videos.
Love this movie, Ive watched it three times this year with my daughter and once without her. lol You should of seen if they would sell the Vincent store sign! The one hanging up out the front, that would of been cool to own or hang up over a bar.
The carnival scene was actually shot in Robinson Park in American Fork Utah. Just a half block away from the church featured in the original "Footloose" movie. The park is still there and there is an annual carnival each summer. It also has a tie to Ted Bundy. There is confusion but either his victim was headed to the park or had just walked through the park when he picked her up. The pastor's house in Footloose was kiddy corner from the park but has been torn down.
Thank you for this🥰 This is so precious and such a wonderful memory for me and my kids. My kids probably watched this at least 100x 😂😂😂. Your videos are amazing!
Thank you so much for this video, my dad loves this movie because he was that age and he used to dress just like Benny, white tee shirt, cuffed blue jeans and PF Flyers 👍
o man, now that i fully rewatched this, WOW prolly the best location thing ive ever seen !! and im stunned how much of the stuff still exists and some e ven loook totaly the same ! never heard of this movie but this was so fun to watch < i got confused a bit that this is a 30yo movie, looks way older like its from 1982 or something tbh ,but ya.. what a video
Excellent video, enjoyed it. But I have to say videos like this do make me a little sad, to see all the things that no longer exist. Only in our memories now. But good memories. It's one of my favorite movies, along with the goonies. reminds me of my childhood running around with my friends. Not a care in the world.😅.
Absolutely fantastic Kurt I love this film. It's crazy because the sand lot looks massive compared to the film, in the film it looks like a little sq field but I guess that's movie magic ect for us. Loved watching this can't wait for the next one
That opening 😂😂😂 straight paying homage to the baseball scene edit I kept watching and man your videos are awesome 😎 👏 I’ve subscribed I wouldn’t be born till 12 years later 91 but this page is still awesome. I grew up with the 80s mom
One of the funniest intros 😂 Loved this video, I’m going to watch that movie now for the very first time because of your video. Love the thumbnail as well ❤🤟🏼
Definitely one of my favorites lol I remember watching this as a kid then after the movie was over me and my cousin would outside and smack baseballs around lol awesome video man
Dope to see and keep up the good work ! Love the movie as a kid, showed it to my daughter which she loves as well. Now can`t wait to show my son this movie soon as he is just 3 at the moment. Great summer movie and for the kids to see. Thought all location was in California too like many did.
Absolutely amazing...I love the Sandlot. I watch it every time it's on. Sad how things change and close down. I would've asked for the Vincent Drug sign lol. Great video 👍🏻
wow! that was very entertaining! I loved this film so much as a kid. still do. great attention to detail, Especially about Vincent's pharmacy. looks like that whole block is getting a face lift. Well, glad you were able to get footage when you could. great job!
Great movie from my childhood I make sure I watch it once a year I’m 38 now my daughter watched it for the 1st time last year and she loved it she was 5 so that will be a thing we do together once a year from now on
I'm a Diehard Yankees fan and a huge baseball fan since childhood. We sometimes don't realize that a lot of people grew up like Smalls, and know nothing about Baseball. I was just having fun with Kurt, hope he knows that, especially since it really was like Smalls in the movie.
Classic movie I was a child then now I just turned 40 in Vegas I've been basking in 80s nostalgia forever. If I was born today I'd still watch the 80s classics my house is covered in the Goonies Back to the Future Uhf Ferris Bueller Ghostbusters Weird Science Indiana Jones posters etc😂I love the 80s😁
I had no idea the Sandlot was filmed in Salt Lake City. I lived in the area for a few years when one of the companies I worked for transferred me there (and then a year later closed their doors), and I am familiar with most of those locations (especially the retail area in Midvale). While it will be sad to see some of the landmarks of the movie get changed, that area desperately needs some revitalization.
Great video Kurt. Also, the movie is a true story about the writer's life living in the San Fernando Valley. It's actually set in the San Fernando Valley.

We love you brother
It happens man your videos still kick ass
Lol all is forgiven. You really drove all that way?
I didn't notice anything lol😂
This movie was so important to me as a kid…and still is!
I was ten when my mom took me to see Sandlot. One of those movies that's instantly ingrained in your head and never leaves. Brings my youth back whenever I watch it. Very powerful. If only they still made movies this good.
Sandlot is apart of my soul…..top 5 movie all time on my list
A true classic gem of a movie. Thanks Kurt!!
Agreed 👍🏻
One of the best movies about baseball
This movie is a huge part of my childhood. Thank you for this video! The drugstore is sad to see slowly going away but its awesome to see the pool thriving!

Long live the beast and Benny the Jet. Great video 80’s life 🤘🏻
Great video. The world was so normal back when this movie came out. It really makes me sad.
This is one of the movies that has stuck in vivid memory since I saw it in the theater as a kid.
Love them 80s!!😯💖💯🤍👍!
It's not 80s, it's 90s
Never seen the movie but always enjoy a 80s life filming location video!
The Sandlot Locations Happy 30th Anniversary ⚾️💖💖💖⭐️⭐️⭐️🎶
What a trip, I always thought this was filmed in Southern California. Great video!
Me too because of the intro when smalls gets the boxes from the Uhaul trailer and puts them inside his new house.
I was born in 82 so late 80,s to early 90,s was my best child hood times i often think back n wish i could go back n do it all again i watched all the best movies ones that stand out are the lost boys, the exporers, licence to drive, teen wolf, weekend at bernies, fast getaway, silver bullet i just loved that era
the 90's felt kind of stale at the time but looking back we had no idea how good we had it.
@@sambone8213 agreed mate.
It's too bad the Sandlot is so closed in and the owner doesn't like people seeing it up close. Such a classic film that was part of so many childhoods. If I owned that field, everyone would be welcome!
I'm surprised he doesn't charge $10 a head. He could make some cash.
Which house my mom is a owner of one of those houses
Awesome job! They should turn the sandlot into a baseball field, or make it a tourist attraction. Glad it's still around.
Awesome video. Definitely one of my all-time favorites. I remember when my friend got the vhs on release day and we watched it non-stop. Great memories
Great location sandlot movie review

Your research and comparisons are impeccable. Love your channel.

the carnival hasn't been there for a few years now, it got too big for the little park
Thank you for this🥰 This is so precious and such a wonderful memory for me and my kids. My kids probably watched this at least 100x 😂😂😂. Your videos are amazing!

Dumb and Dumber was also filmed there in Salt Lake City, Utah.
@@hectorlopez1069 Thanks for the information.
Well done Kurt!
Thank you!!
That was wonderful!!
Thank you. Great video
good video
Awesome video! I’ll never understand why people buy houses/land from a movie, then don’t like when people visit. So frustrating
Great video Kurt. Also, the movie is a true story about the writer's life living in the San Fernando Valley. It's actually set in the San Fernando Valley.
Such a great movie and you got almost all the locations. You are amazing. Thanks for taking us all back there.
Wonderful
