You have been the ONLY RUclipsR who has been able to reply this!!! Tha k you!! Thank you sooo much!!! Next question! Can I use TWO DJI OSMO CAMERAS FOR A TWO PEOPLE PODCAST?? Shout out from the UK!!! Goubgot a new subscriber!!
I wish I had a second Osmo, I was just shooting on it today with this setup in studio. While I haven’t tried to use two, I’m doubting that you will be able to connect two osmos to one rodecaster. HOWEVER, if you are using DaVinci or Premiere you can sync the audio from each camera and make a sync bin. I plan on doing this down the road.
@@davissonnguyen it has two usb c, However I think that it will only grab Audio from the second channel on the rodecaster. This might have changed as there is a new update out. I have had too many recordings going on and didn’t want to update until til I could spend some time calibrating everything.
Thank you Tank you Thank you... Finally someone explained how! I've been looking for this for a while, tried it but the cable was connected into the C port number 1 and it didnt work... I was supper disappointed at the thought that "it couldn't be done". When you said "my rode cable is connected to number 2" ... I was like damn ... really could it be just that? hahaha It turns put it was!
@@TheRealNathanCook I worked to start with. Now when I connect it starts recording and suddenly the audio from the roadcaster disappears all of the sudden 😓 after 30, 40 or 50 secs of video. Any ideas? It is the osmo pocket, bcs the roadcaster works fine recording on my phone. HELP! 😰
Nice men thanks for the info , I have purchased the content creator and waiting already have a Sony FX30 whit Rode caster pro2 ,Podmic tho beginning whit me podcast and maybe some Vlogs whit the DJI P3
I wonder if there is a way to feed rodecaster audio direct into osmo pocket 3 an feed that all into OBS or ECAMM LIVE at the same time. Bringing synced audio with video is great, and to feed that all into OBS would be huge. Great video!!!
If I was going to use OBS or ECAMM live, I would just run the rodecaster to the computer and the run the OSMO to the computer as the webcam. You would still have to sync the audio with the video, but once it’s dialed in, you would be solid.
When connected to the rodecaster, is the pocket 3 powered/charged by the rodecaster? I was wondering if there's a time constraint with the battery life
@@Candace713 sorry, just seeing this comment. The pocket three is not being powered/charged by the road caster. I have the extended battery that allows, I think, around four hours of recording. I’ve not needed to record more than that.
I’m having issues when I connect the wire to rode Caster pro 2 to the Osmo pocket 3the audio from it works on the osmopocket 3 as it should the audio colored signal shows at the top off osmo pocket 3 screen showing me it’s working But sometimes it doesn’t recognize it I guess and it won’t pic up the audio through rode caster put only regular What wire are you using exactly
I am using a rode usb c, cable. I just used a different cable last week and didn’t have any issues. Someone on this post said that it only works in the USB C 2 port. That also might be why it doesn’t work on the original rodecaster.
I can’t speak to the original rodecaster as I don’t have one. I vaguely remember something that they changed with the interface from the first rodecaster.
@@TravelingHypnotist I think, because the rodecaster original, it only works on the rodecasters that have two usb c ports. Since it only recognizes the osmo 3 when it’s plugged into the second port.
My osmo pocket keeps on disconnecting. And it is not the roadcaster pro 2, because when I connect it to my iphone works fine. With the osmo pocket starts recording fine then the mic disappears after 30 or 40 seca of video 😫😫😫
OMG! I’ve been looking for an answer to this question!!! Thanks so much!

@@TheRealNathanCook how many USB C does the Rode caster 2 have to take the OSMO ? 2 max?

Im not sure you can connect two into the rodecaster, as I have discovers the OSMO must be plugged into the second USB C port.

Hey! Were you able to resolve the issue?

I have the same issue, it starts off working and before one minute the camera crashes.
