@@KTGLibas bolts have guide tips so they dont strip plus we’ve been doing this for a while. But you’re right! Always thread by hand

You don't wet your gasket with a dab of oil?
No! Not ptfe oil seals. They need to be dry and sit for a couple hours before running or adding oil

I install what customer provided. I always suggest elring dual lip ones. I should probably make a video showing the difference between two

Perfect repair actually. Did an upper oil pan on the same motor in the car and didn't realize the bottom point should have caulk. Thanks for this video
