    I'm so excited to see you try the soup recipe I sent you. It's one of our favorites. I'm definitely going to try the other two recipes. I love all kinds of soups, chilis, stews, and etc. We recently tried Jessica O'Donohue's cheeseburger potato soup, and it has become a favorite.

    It was purely by accident that I discovered adding the can of crushed tomatoes to the beef broth makes the soup incredibly luscious. The crushed tomatoes kind of melt in with the other ingredients.

    Sooo coincidental, I found a recipe for tortellini soup, on Pinterest, just this week. I made it and it was very good. The only difference was, the recipe didn’t call for carrots and it had a can of diced tomatoes and a bit of heavy cream. I think the carrots would be great and, to be honest, I wouldn’t miss the tomatoes. Yum🤗

    • @susan_elizabeth
      @susan_elizabeth Год назад +1

      Hi. That's my beef barley soup recipe. I'm so excited that she included it!
      The barley does absorb a little more liquid when the soup is stored in the refrigerator, but it keeps its original texture without becoming mushy. So, the soup thickens up a little more than when it was originally served.
      I hope that helps!
