Aww, Corey! I lost my son this year in July, he was 23. A wave of emotions captured me in my hunt this year, and watching you lean over Jessi’s shoulder as the opportunity unfolded was a blessing and joy to watch and a whole new set of emotions for me! What a special moment for you to spend with Jessi. I remember seeing her shooting a bow next to Isaac a few years back when Isaac shot his first bull with a bow in that video! Ive been there before, and it never gets old watching their excitement! Good Job Dad!

The excitement of taking your daughter out for a chance at a bull, and being right next to her when she shoots, is so awesome, and totally priceless. I have been a hunter for over 50 years, and it is all because a dad and his friends took the time to teach me to respect and love the animals that we match wits with. I watched this video with my 87 year old father and as I watched him smiling, it took me back to when it was my first deer hunt and he was smiling at me just like you were Jessi. It was a real joy to watch the face of the young lady and the smile on dads face that is a memory she will have for the rest of her life.

Same here Chris. My dad never owned a bow or gun being full on city boy I guess he just stuck to what he knew. As I got older and had more friends from the country and moved north away from big city I took on hunting and into my 5th year now at 36..I have to say absolutely never stop learning and nothing compares to being in the middle of an elk herd😊...especially during the rut! cant wait for my kids to get older and show them what Ive learned too!.. keep at it!

I grew up in Utah and my dad never hunted. He is from Blackfoot Idaho. Never hunted a day in his life. Im 34 and started hunting this year. I've decided bowonlyguy. Not shooting anything other than sticks. Had a blast this year, have learned a TON and the effort is still on until December 15th. Not giving up.

I went with my pops once maybe twice as a youngster but had to stay in camp. Was never able to actually hunt and learn from him. It wasn't till I was 27 before I was able to hunt big game. This was my 4th year hunting elk and eating tag soup but every year I learn more and more. I've been in elk every year just never able to find me a bull. Lol. Cows and calves is bout it. My father is no longer able to hunt due to health issues. So its something I'll never experience with him. I have two daughters who ask every year to go elk hunting. I've compromised with them till they are a little older they can go bird hunting and they have a ball. Keep at it learn as much as possible and keep a positive attitude.

Girl power Jessi! What a great experience with your Dad. I'm 56 and still hunt every weekend with my 81 year old Dad. He traded out a hunting backpack for a baby backpack when my boys were babies and toddlers. Then taught my boys to hunt and enjoy the outdoor life style. All so our unique hunting partnership never ever waivered. 17 elk hunting trips, 44 years of deer, waterfowl and turkey hunting and I still call my Dad my hunting partner. Hope this is just the first elk of many more that you harvest with your Dad.

I am a number one fan of this video because this awesome video shows me what an amazing father and daughter connection they really do have. The mastermind behind this Elk hunt was by so precise in calling , tracking, and just the knowing where the Elk would pop out, such an awesome shot your baby girl has, no wonder why she mastered that one look at who's teaching her , yes her dad Corey one of the finest hunters of all time. Congratulations Jessie you did such a miraculous bowhunting job. Just the adrenaline rush god it was like I could feel it as well my heart was pumping toooooo. Lol The Elks rack was so huge, just the way you looked at you dad brought tears to my eyes, such a beautiful family you all are, this video was one of the best so far especially having her uncle there at her side as well was so awesome to , another great hunter himself. Anywho I'm so proud of how much you guys have taught Jessie shes already a mastered born hunter. Till the next hunt, I will be watching your guys awesome success.

That was my favorite elk hunting video. Love the father and daughter bonding. As a father myself, the most cherished hunting moments are ones shared with my kids. Congrats Jess! And props to Corey for taking his daughter.

It is so awesome to see you out with one of your kids.I have two daughters who hunt and neither has a kill yet but they make those days out hunting so special for me. Jessi , you did a great job of keeping your composure and congrats on your first bull.I couldn't keep the smile from my face. Our hunts these days are all about family, camps and getting the kids out experiencing what I have enjoyed for so long. I enjoyed this video more than any other.

Thanks for sharing this awesome moment. I have a 5 yr old little girl and hope she has the same passion... glad to see you also teaching patience and letting it rest along with perseverance. Great hunt for the ages.

To all you people who gave a thumbs down, you should absolutely be ashamed of yourself. She is a 14 year old young lady who deserves better than that. Great job Jessi I am very proud of you on your first Bull elk👍
